Sur la rive nord de Kauai, Haena Hale se trouve derrière des portes en bois et dans le paysage tropical d'un terrain privé d'un demi-acre (2023 m2). Avec des vues spectaculaires sur Bali Hai (Mt. Makana) et à quelques pas de la plage des tunnels (Makua), Haena Hale invite les clients à se plonger dans un style de vie insulaire authentique.

Cette escapade de 3 chambres et 3 salles de bains est baignée de lumière naturelle et bénéficie d'une véranda expansive et enveloppante, parfaite pour la vie intérieure / extérieure. La chambre principale dispose d'un lit king-size californien et d'une salle de bains privative avec douche en pierre. La deuxième chambre a un lit queen-size. La grande troisième chambre peut accueillir jusqu'à six personnes et dispose d'une salle de bains attenante.

La douche extérieure de Haena Hale vous rafraîchit après une journée de randonnée sur les falaises de la c��te de Na Pali ou un après-midi de baignade dans l'océan Pacifique bleu. Détendez-vous sur la véranda, où les vues sur les montagnes vert émeraude vous rappellent constamment l'attrait de la vie insulaire.

Faites un trajet de 10 minutes le long de la côte et sur plusieurs ponts à une voie jusqu'à Hanalei, célèbre pour sa baie en forme de croissant et son charme de petite ville. Ajoutez 10 minutes de plus à votre trajet en voiture et retrouvez-vous dans la communauté balnéaire de Princeville, où vous pourrez jouer aux trous en bord de mer au Makai Golf Club.

La propriété dispose également d'une maison d'hôtes supplémentaire (1 chambre / 1 salle de bain, jusqu'à 4 personnes) appelée "The Haena Tree House", qui peut être louée en combinaison avec Haena Hale.

Great Place for Kauai!

Nice place, plenty of room, beds comfy, deck space is great, location is perfect. Bit hard to find at nite when you first arrive, but once you know where it is, no problems. Recommend highly!

Loved this property and was perfect for our vacation. Walking to the north shore beaches is so nice as it’s the most beautiful beaches.. in my opinion.. to be close to. Just a lovely stay and didn’t want to leave.

Gorgeous, Private and Relaxing

Fabulous north shore location, only minutes from the beach and extraordinary sunsets. Quick walk to coffee in the morning and a meal in the evening. Also perfect to stay in and cook at home with well stocked kitchen, BBQ, great lanai and plenty of space for the whole family. Already planning our next visit !

perfect for two families

This house is great. Amazing layout with great indoor/outdoor lounge areas and a separate bunk room with plenty of space for lots of kids. The home is well equipped with all the necessary amenities (including plenty of towels, boogie boards, beach chairs, etc) but it still feels authentically Hawaiian on a lush, private property. Walking distance to a nice beach but we usually drove the 15 minutes into Hanalei for beaches and restaurants.

Peaceful Retreat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family loved this property. Immaculate. Beautiful decor. Good AC units when needed. Has everything you need for the beach (boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, wagon, beach towels). Home is short walk to quiet beach which I saw 2 turtles. .6 miles to Tunnels beach which spent an entire day there - GORGEOUS. 10 min to coffee shop and restaurant/bar. 12 min drive to Hanalei town with many cute shops and restaurants and tour activities. Hope to come back soon and stay here.

Incredible retreat

We absolutely loved this house- we were originally a little concerned by the treehouse right next door and it was hard to get a sense of how well that would work. It was fantastic- whoever stayed was very quiet and we hardly saw them. All the lanai for the big house are on the other side too. The house was very clean and spacious- the bunk room is actually a separate room which worked great- our kids stayed there. The house is so well stocked- from the kitchen to beach gear to cleaning supplies. The beach is a short walk away- we also walked to tunnels Beach (very close by) and hanalei colony resort for coffee and dinner multiple times. Would absolutely stay again.

Beautiful private treehouse in a remote town on the north coasr

We enjoyed spending the first part of our honeymoon in this well appointed home. The location between Hanalei and the end of the road at Ha'ena was great for seeing the sights of he north shore and snorkeling tunnels beach. Our only problem with the location was getting stranded on the wrong side of the Hanalei bridge due to heavy rain and flooding for one night. Other than that we had a wonderful time and enjoyed this well thought out and beautiful home.

Amazing property, highly recommend staying in this wonderful bungalow.

My wife and I recently stayed in the above property for five nights. Hands down, this was the cleanest rental we have ever booked. The kitchen appliances were all "top of the line". The balcony served as a perfect spot for relaxing and eating breakfast, looking out over the well manicured backyard. The house is in walking distance of Tunnels Beach and very close to several nice restaurants. We loved the north shore, but the one lane bridges can be tricky to navigate at times. I would highly recommend this property, in fact we plan to return next year and stay in the same location.

Magical

We have visited the island a few times as well as having family on Maui. This little piece of heaven was by far the best place we have stayed. Everything you need is there which made travel light. Walking to a beautiful Beach and restaurant for short trips and a beautiful drive for Day trips. The house is clean and bug Free which has been a problem other places on the island. The key code was awesome so we never worried about loosing the key. We loved the privacy of the upstairs patio having morning coffee outside looking at the lush garden was awesome. The climate at the house was the best on island. Never too Hot beautiful rainbow every morning! Thank you for making this place available, the experience was perfect.

Treehouse

My husband and I traveled with our eight year old daughter and loved the house. The location is excellent, walking distance to Tunnles, a great snorkeling spot, and other beautiful swimming beach even closer. The view of the jagged mountain ridges from the bedroom patio, which has a comfy couch, is fantastic, at night you can hear the surf as you drift off to sleep. The house is airy and beautiful, hardwood floors, granite tiled bathroom, great kitchen, fully equipped. The floorplan is spacious and flows freely. We loved that everything we wanted was there, beach toys, laundry detergent, games, even sunscreen if you forgot yours, books and tips of what to do. Our host was gracious and helpful. We hope to stay there someday again. Oh, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. There is a bigger house right in front of this unit, but it sits lower, we did not mind.

Beautiful Spot! Great Location!

My husband and I stayed 9 days in the "Tree House." After moving from a huge beachfront estate, we were prepared to be a little in shock. We could not have asked for a better spot! The views were amazing. A beautiful beach was just around the corner. The house was spacious and well furnished. We particularly liked the how high up we were in the tree tops and the beautiful lanai. The breeze was fabulous. Although there are two homes on the property, we never even saw the other tenants. It is a short drive to tunnels and Keea's (unless you are a serious walker/hiker). Best of all was the owner Jeff. He was so easy going and helpful. He answered a million questions and was always quick to respond. We visited the island every summer for eight years, and would definitely recommend this spot. Mahalo, Mahalo, Mahalo, Jeff. We look forward to a return visit!

Noisy property

No closeable windows mean you can hear everything going on in the 6 or so units within 60 feet or so. Windows super dirty, no wipe downs on fixtures, window openings. A rodent turd next to the sink. Coffee maker present but no filters. Cheap dollar store utensils and lacking many staples of VRBO's I have stayed in. Must have been the rats nibbling off the sea almonds and banging off the roof ALL NIGHT LONG. Romantic? Worst sleep in a long time. The road is not safe to walk on either, dark, no shoulder in places and speeders. No thanks even for a free night if I rented again

Hale Ko’olau - a slice of paradise!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had the pleasure of staying at this home with my wife, two small kids and parents. The house was *very* clean and comfortable. The house has a great layout. The bathrooms are all remodeled and modern. The wrap around deck gives you tons of options to sit outside and the views off the front porch are amazing. We ate outside on the large, covered table every night. The yard is big enough for the kids to run around and is nicely maintained. The only thing to keep in mind is the bunk bed room is separate from the main house so a little tricky with small kids. The location is one of the best on the north shore. The closest beach is a 5 minute walk and beautiful, although not ideal for swimming. If you head to tunnels and the parking is full you can walk pretty easily. It’s a quick drive to all the best beaches on the north shore. We would absolutely go back to this house and recommend it to anyone!

Haena vacation in Kauai

The property is wonderful and the design and layout of the space and buildings makes it a great choice for families with different age groups. My wife and I and step-son and his wife stayed in the main home while their two-year-old daughter slept in the bunk house, just steps away via a connected walkway. The two buildings are attached by a large porch area. So the outdoor dining area adjacent to the kitchen and in front of the bunk house could not have been better. The beach which is a 5 to 10-minute walk away is a nice sandy beach. The house was close to a half dozen beaches and each one seemed better than the one we went to the day before. The big unfortunate about the area in Haena where the house is located is the local dog. Three nights I was awoken in the middle of the night by a dog which barked for 90 minutes or sometimes more. A bummer. I spoke with the property manager concerning this and they were very communicative concerning our problem, but the humane society is the only group which can act on such disturbances and while I voiced my concerns about this poor dog, I can't say for sure anything was done about it. It was a great trip, it seemed that the week was much longer and we plan to return to Kauai din the near future. Thank you Makana!!

Wonderful location, amazing house, but not the privacy we wanted

This is our second year staying on the property. This year we were in this house, last year the larger house (#175066). The owners are easy to deal with and very professional. The location is perfect if you enjoy Kaui’s North Shore. It is 15 mins from Tunnels and about 4mins of easy walking from the massively underrated Kepuhi beach. It is very quite and offers good snorkeling. The reef is smaller than Tunnels so you can choose calm, small, or medium waves by picking different areas of the beach to swim in. Our kid loved the way he could work his way up in ocean intensity. Having an outside shower lets you get the sand and ocean off before going inside. It’s the perfect blend of remote and quite (especially in the evenings) with enough stores in Hanalei and Princeville that you easily pickup anything you run out of within 10/20 mins of driving. The house itself is wonderful. The decoration and attention to detail is amazing and it blends perfectly with the environment outside. The bed was comfortable and all the appliances are high quality. Views from the balcony are amazing. The rooms are spacious. The kitchen is well equipped. You have to bring your own oil, salt, coffee etc. The wrinkle for us is the large house on the property. This year there was a lot of people staying there and they held a wedding in the grounds. You could not ask for a nicer group of people or a more low key wedding but when you have three or four other cars and that many other people on the property it becomes hard to find privacy. There are neighboring houses close by but they are well screened by vegetation and fences. You hear the people but you don’t see them. We recommend you either rent the larger house or ask questions about the number of people renting it during the period you plan to stay in this house.

Everything was solid if not amazing

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Really decent on everything. House was clean (unlocked when we arrived though) and all worked well. No set of keys inside as they said there would be. No big deal. Nice setup. Hot tub was gross/warm (not hot) and the breaker kept tripping so couldn’t make it work.
