We did enjoy our stay. The balcony was nice and the pool area also. We felt that it could be updated some. Could use more bowls and cooking utensils. It wasn’t horribly dirty, but could tell some things hadn’t been paid much attention to.

Lots of room, good location

Nicely furnished, spacious, loved the exercise room and pool. Lower floor so wonderful for sitting on the balcony and enjoying the ocean. Front door needs painting, gives a bad first impression. Everything clean and sufficient kitchen tools for cooking and eating at home

Great Days at the Beach

Property as advertised. Great view and beach access. The pool was beautiful and well maintained, as was the entire property. Employees were very courteous and helpful. A few minor problems were addressed in a timely manner. We will definitely be back!

Great get away!

We had an amazing time! It was an awesome location and a beautiful condo. We had no issues with anything and Vacasa was great in their communication regarding everything. including that the condo was ready early! It was clean and well presented! There was construction going on, but it was very minimal and didn't bother us at all! Our thanks to the owners for sharing this condo with us!

Beautiful, Clean, Condo with Breathtaking Views of the Ocean and Beach!!!!

The condo has an open floor plan and complete view of the ocean and beach from all the main areas! The unit was well stocked with all the kitchen items we needed. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony with our coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening!!! Thank you for providing such a warm and comfortable environment for us to relax in! Your condo will be at the top of our list on our next trip back to Orange Beach!!!!

This place needs some love!

The location was amazing, the condo was clean and it was very spacious . Very nice balcony and outdoor furniture. The pictures look nicer than what the unit looks like now, they need to be updated. The mattress in the master bedroom is terrible and the sofa, recliner and stove definitely need to be replaced. Could also use a good paint job.

Dryer squeaked, dishwasher didn’t dry, master bed mattress thin and worn out, cracks next to doors, front door rusted, living room furniture was worn out, water spots on ceiling. Dryer was also slow to dry clothes. Contacted on first day to resolve but nobody ever came. Can supply pictures if needed. Nothing was horrible, but it all added up.

Nice views / need of a major updating and deep cleaning

The property needs updating. The condo floors were dirty, our bare feet were black from the dirt. The rugs were filthy and are in need of replacing or professionally cleaned. The cords on the hair dryers were black with dirt and the shower curtains had mold on them. The best part of the condo is the beach views!

unit very run down

the couch, master bedroom mattress, recliner in family room, refrigerator all need to be replaced. The floors need a good cleaning throughout the whole unit- feet and socks were black always from walking on the floor. Towels never got dry after showering. Location great but upkeep of unit horrible.

Everything was great until the construction started next door. It went on early, we wanted REST and didn’t get it. We talked to the one who manages things and they were no help. It should definitely be on the website when there is construction going on, of course I know why it isn’t.we are both caretakers and needed rest and naps. Won’t be back!

Mixed emotions

We have stayed in Orange Beach/Gulf Shores for 17+ years for Spring Break. We have stayed at Admirals Quarters in the past in a different condo with great comfort. This was a tough year. Although the kitchen area and the master bathroom facilities were very nice, the overall decor of this condo needs sprucing up badly. On top of that, the living room furniture, more specifically the couch (hide-a-bed) is completely worn out. Also, the master bedroom mattress is shot. There is not a good nights sleep left in that piece. We had some unfortunate interruptions in our stay pertaining to the condo but this should not be an issue with further tenants. I will also say that the facility personnel were VERY nice. We had great conversations with the night security officer while waiting for the elevator. Extremely nice guy. Our stay at OB was great as usual with fantastic beach time, wonderful dining and activities throughout Orange Beach and Gulf Shores. We will be back, but more selective in our condo decision.

Needs work and cleanup

The pool was dirty daily-I only saw cleaning once during the week. The pool furniture is old and the tables were always nasty The main door to the outside in the condo was so difficult to open only 2 people in our group could fully close it. The door is obviously broken and just not being repaired. The showers both had terrible shower heads that sprayed water everywhere when trying to enter the shower. The condo building in general needs some repair and cleanup The specific condo unit was spacious and the location was great, but I won’t stay here again

Love this location and condo!

Love the condo. We are a repeat renter. The location is great and the condo has everything we needed to make our stay great. We totally plan to try to book this place again. However, the property/management company is a joke. We discovered the dryer wasn’t working early into our stay and contacted them. As they requested we do if there was an issue. We were unable to dry any of the bath towels/clothes/etc .. They said it would be fixed, called and left me a voicemail of the day it would be fixed and no one ever came. I called and they confirmed my call back number, checked on the issue and said they would escalate it and to “hang on” and then hung up on me and never called back. I tried to text but they only said they understood my concern. We walked in from the beach at 4:30 pm on Friday and it was being fixed. We left on Saturday. Love the condo, the location, and the amenities but really hopes the owner rethinks their property manager. They caused a lot of undo stress.

Spacious and comfy with stunning views, but there is no actual hot tub.

We enjoyed our 11-night birthday beach vacation despite a few hiccups along the way. Thankfully the folks at Vacasa were very responsive, did their best to resolve issues quickly, and generally tried to make things right. One important thing I wish we knew before booking: there is NOT an actual hot tub. We were very disappointed since the title says "shared pools, hot tub, and grills" and the listing mentions "community hot tub" in the description. Having poorly-placed jets in the 85-degree indoor pool and in the 2-person bathtub do NOT count as hot tubs. (The heated pool and the room it is in could really be a bit warmer too!) The part of the outdoor pool that looks like a hot tub is a non-useable fountain. I understand it's hard to market without "soaking tub" or "jetted tub" or "heated pool" as amenity options to filter searches, but at least be accurate in the listing, describe what is actually there, and do not advertise "hot tub" if the unit doesn't have access to a proper hot tub.

Beautiful views needs some updates

There were beautiful views making it a wonderful location. It is third floor so nice to still have a view but easy to use stairs. Nice the front room has plenty of chairs for the four of us!! Plenty of chairs on the deck also and high top so we can see above the railing. The patio door from Front room was a huge challenge to close. Would keep bouncing open. Sometimes we manage to close it all the way while on the deck but we often struggled. The key pad to enter did not always work which was quite concerning and issue seemed to get worse over timeand the ice machine light didn’t on fridge. All issues reported so hopefully it was fixed. The bathroom towels are small and thin but we orherwise okay. Loved they had plenty of dishes glasses and wine glasses ! Also space to put our groceries. And cabinet space to put beach gear. Annoyed they had NO filters for their coffee pot- least they can do nor salt and pepper. We had to buy all. They had plenty of bath and hand soap that was nice. Not enough dishmachine so we bought more.

Needs updating and cleaning.

The condominium had great beach views and good furniture on the terrace. It overlooked the pool and the beach. The lobby area and inside pool and weight room was nice and family friendly. The condo was roomy and easily accessible with good parking. However, there was an issue with disrepair, cleanliness, and uncomfortable and outdated decor. The pictures used to market the condo were not accurate. The furniture was old, and worn. The rugs were dirty and stained. The wine refrigerator was broken and hung out of the cabinet. The walls were scared and in need of fresh paint. The molding and floors and counter tops were soiled. There was hair, thick layers of dust, and dust bunnies all over the floor moldings. The air return net was covered in dust and stained brown. The unit smelled musty and was hot when we arrived. The chairs and sofa were worn and sagging. The chairs were not the same as in the marketing pics. I called and Vacasa sent two people from housekeeping to clean within 45 min. They cleaned all that I could point out while we went to the grocery store. When I returned, I washed all of the bed linens and put them back on the beds. We purchased room deposed sanitizers to spray on the furniture. The fake plants were covered in dust and bent to be unsightly and unshapely. They need to be thrown out. It is a shame that we had to spend the first night cleaning and washing. I asked for a partial refund but never received any. It was disappointing and I would not stay in this unit or with this company again.
