The check in process was amazing quick and so easy. We had a few issues and they were quickly resolved from the management company. It wasn’t incredibly clean, such as mold in the shower and crumbs in the pullout and mold in the ice maker. Also FYI…..this was the least stocked Vrbo we’ve ever stayed in. They provide each bathroom with one roll of toilet paper, one trash bag, one dishwashing packet. There are no Kleenexes or bottles of hand soap. There is nothing in the kitchen such as salt and pepper. Also somewhat annoying the hot tub gets checked everyday and was completely drained while we were there. Overall the location was great and view was great.

Spring break

Our family stayed for a week and was so nice to have all the facilities available. The condo was very accommodating to our large family. The access to the beach was quick and easy. We utilized the pools everyday both outside and inside pools. This is our favorite place to stay.

Beautiful place!

The unit was so pretty and nice - huge kitchen and well supplied with everything you could possibly need. Loved the huge balcony. We enjoyed being able to grill on our balcony instead of having to go to the pool area. Everything was very nicely furnished and decorated. We loved it.

Reviewer Comments: The property is lovely. However, the area rugs were stained, the supplies in the kitchen are old, and in need of replacement. For what you spend for this property, you will expect great attention to Detail, especially in the kitchen. The bedding in the master bedroom looked very worn.

Beautiful and Comfortable

The moment we walk into Turquoise Place we feel like we are on vacation! Everyone is so helpful and friendly! Everything is beautifully decorated, clean and accessible!1109C by far has been the most beautiful condo we have stayed at in the past 4 years of family vacations this property; it Felt like home and had everything we could possibly need! Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax and enjoy the amenities! Also! Change of Pace, the restaurant/bar at Turquoise Place has some of the best food and drinks around! I am not exaggerating when I say take an evening by the pool with the kiddos and enjoy dinner or lunch there at the property! Thanks for the mems! Can’t wait until next time!!

Great for large family!

This condo was perfect for our family of 8 adults and 4 small children. Very open and spacious inside and the balcony was huge. The closets were big enough for pack-n-plays. When we arrived to check in, they did not have our reservation because the property manager had not submitted it, but the Turquoise staff bent over backwards to contact her and get us checked in quickly. Two of the bedrooms were super hot, but maintenance handled that efficiently as well. The C building pool being closed was not an issue at all. The other pool is actually between buildings C and D. The kids loved the activities at the pool. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay in this condo again.

Great on amenities needs improvement on cleanliness and condition

The Pros: This condo in Turquoise Place is basically as seen in photos. It is spacious and in a decent location on Orange Beach. The pools are as pictured and well kept. The beach is fine, white sand and easily accessed and plenty of chairs for rental. The kitchen is well stocked, and the appliances are great. We especially loved the ice maker. It was really nice to have a grill on the balcony. The staff were courteous and pleasant. The cons: Coming off the elevator the hallway was disgusting. Food wrappers, trash, lint balls greasy hand prints and filthy carpet greeted us. I emailed Charlotte about it repeatedly, and while she is prompt to respond and even promised to clean it herself when housekeeping did nothing it remained filthy the entirety of our trip. The living room couch is in awful shape, constantly separates, stained and uncomfortable. The minute it moves on the floor it is apparent housekeeping has never moved it and swept/mopped since it’s been there. Owner seriously needs to consider new furniture. There were food wrappers in two of the bedrooms upon our arrival. Housekeeping is terrible to say the list. The balcony and hot tub on the balcony were also filthy. The master bath jacuzzi does not work. The master bedroom bed is terrible. Serious sunken places from age I guess. The 2 middle guest rooms do not seem to get completely cool...asked a maintenance man about this and he said he’d have it seen about but it never happened either. The bunk room is farthest from the Master , has access to the balcony and is the closest to the entry door. I understand why it is the bunk room bc it has the bath with a tub shower, but the distance from the kids room to the master and it’s proximity to the entry door was something I did not care for. The towels in one of the guest room baths were filthy and in a pile on the floor...not sure if left over from housekeeping but not great. Some food stuff was left in both the fridge and the freezer we had to dispose of. The balcony furniture is a joke, very uncomfortable/old/in disgusting condition, balcony floor was filthy, hot tub works on the balcony but was dirty and small...3 adults at most. In closing, this condo could be amazing if housekeeping would do a better job, repairs made and new furniture purchase it might be worth what they ask a night. We left wishing we would’ve tried a different unit in the same building.

Really loved this property and visited with our family of four. The condo is very spacious and the view from this 11th floor end unit is beautiful. The enormous patio was a real treat and we used the super functional and large kitchen multiple times to cook and serve meals. All the beds were comfortable and the unit got super cool at night so we all slept great. Access to the beach was very convenient and the beach support crew were all very nice. Only real complaint was some of the furniture pieces needed to be steam cleaned for some wear, dirt and a few stains... otherwise, it was a fabulous place we would rent again for sure.

There were lots of little touches to make the stay easier like extra pillows and blankets in closets and the many light switches being labeled. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cooking supplies. All the beds were great and the bunk beds in the 4th bedroom make it a great place to stay with kids. Would definitely stay here again.

4th of July Family Vacation Week

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family arrived from different parts of the US on the Saturday before the 4th of July and stayed for the week. The condo was clean, very comfortable and nicely appointed. We all had a great time visiting with relatives that we hadn't seen in a while. We did have some problems with the washing machine the first couple of days, which was addressed immediately by the Phoenix Rental staff, Brandy and Cayce. The bedroom across from the kitchen get's very hot and fans don't seem to help much, but this seems to be an issue with every corner unit facing west, in tower C, that we've rented in the past, in the middle of summer, at Turquoise Place. As far as the accuracy regarding the amenities, our family spends a lot of time on the balcony. The photos on VRBO that was provided along with the property description showed that the unit had an outdoor sofa and love seat on the balcony, which is why I chose this unit to rent for the week in the first place. Both had been removed and replaced with only a few chairs. We didn't have enough sitting room for all the adults on the balcony at one time. Yes, I would recommend this unit to friends and relatives. Hopefully, the owners will replace the sofa and loveseat by next 4th of July.

We’ve stayed at Turquoise for about 10 years now. We weren’t impressed w this condo. It says its newly renovated, it didn’t look like it. Example: the master bedroom comforter had a huge bleach spot on it and the patio had one bad sectional couch on it. One bedrooms hairdryer stated sparking and smoking, the master jacuzzi didn’t work.. and we did call on it, but no one came. This is the most $ we’ve paid for staying at Thanksgiving and it should have either been cheaper or been worth the amount we paid for it.

Beautiful Condo with a couple of Issues

Reviewer Comments: The vacation rental was very nice, very spacious, and in a great location in Orange Beach. There was never a crowd at the elevators, which has been a problem at other condos we have stayed in the past, and the indoor pools/hottubs were great. The location of the condo on the beach and distance to our favorite restaurants was great. The condo was beautiful, however, we did have a few concerns. The primary issue was with the hot tub, which we were excited about using considering the cool spring weather. The water was green and clearly not well maintained. When we reached out to management to have the hot tub cleaned, we received no response the entire week, and when the hot tub maintenance person showed up at the end of the week on Thursday, he was there for his regular schedule, and was not made aware of our complaint/concerns about the hot tub earlier in the week. In addition, he said that he didn't have the materials to clean out the hot tub and couldn't do it until Friday (the day before we left), and he didn't return on Friday. I hope he returned before the next guests arrived. The other issue was with the master bed, which was not very comfortable and very lumpy. Generally, we had a great stay, loved the area of the beach the condo was on, and really enjoyed the space of the condo for the two families that stayed together.
