The space
Welcome to our Texas Hill Country Getaway! Our 6-Bedroom / 3 Bath white rock home features designer interior styling, plenty of comfortable furnishings, a media room and two large fireplaces with a roomy screened porch. The Party Barn nearby includes a large living and kitchen space open to a huge patio and an upstairs game room and private apartment with a living area and large bedroom with 2 Queen Beds.

With more than 200 feet of creek access including a deep spot behind a small dam, there is plenty of space for everyone in your group to enjoy fishing, swimming or floating without ever leaving the property!

The Main House:

The large, open kitchen, dining and living area are at the heart of the home with window views of the oak-covered yard. There’s plenty of space and everything you need to cook large family meals in the kitchen which includes a gas range and oven, a roomy refrigerator, and plenty of appliances and dishes. The dining table seats 10 comfortably, and a nearby bar seats 4 on bar-height chairs.

The main living area features a huge rock fireplace, cozy seating and space for everyone to relax and plan the days’ adventures, watch the game or enjoy a crackling fire on a chilly evening.

Off of the living room is a screen porch with another table for playing late-night board games after a fun day fishing or playing in the creek.

An additional living area/media room features a 75" Smart TV with Dish Network and DVD Player as well as another fireplace and a cozy soft sectional sofa.

Sleeping Spaces:

The Master Ensuite, located behind a large sliding barn door, has a soft and cozy king-sized bed, a large walk-in closet, and a luxurious private bath with an extra-deep soaking tub and huge walk-in shower.

Across the hall, the Creekside Bunkroom is perfect for a small family to share or as a kid or teen bunk room. The large space sleeps up to 5 with a queen-size bed on one side of the room and twin bunks with a slide-out trundle on the other. This room has a private entrance to the outdoors and large windows facing the creek. A large bathroom nearby includes a shower/tub combo.

Two additional bedrooms downstairs have queen-size beds and storage space and share the third bathroom with a shower/ tub combo.

An upstairs loft has an additional bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a twin daybed tucked into a cozy alcove.

The Barn:

Located just steps away from the main house along a gravel path is the Barn where much of the fun happens!

Inside the two-story barn, you will find an additional gathering area with sofas, a small kitchen, dining table and bathroom. Open the large garage doors to allow the fresh air to flow through in the warmer months or keep them closed during cooler seasons.

The fun never stops with an upstairs barn loft “game room” with a foosball and shuffleboard table, an additional table for board games and an ultra-cool seating area with a cozy couch and oversized bean bag chairs for gaming (bring your own console).

A cozy barn apartment has an additional private seating area with a sofa and large screen Smart TV and a bedroom with two queen-size beds separated by privacy screens. The apartment and nearby bathroom have their own AC / heating unit for premium comfort.

Enjoy a lazy afternoon or late-night conversation on the barn's covered porch overlooking the woods and creek. Relax with your morning coffee on the porch swings or comfy patio furniture. Spread out the snacks and sandwiches on the outdoor dining table and enjoy lunch outside with views of the shady backyard and creek.

Outdoors:

There is plenty to do out doors no matter what season you are visiting. Watch the deer and birds from the screened porch each morning. Relax in the shade or soak up the sun in any of the outdoor lounging areas. Spend the summer days floating in the creek and fall afternoons fishing or kayaking.

At night, enjoy Wimberley’s famous stargazing, a bottle of hill country wine and laughter or share stories and s’ mores with the kids in front of a roaring fire in the fire pit.

With few neighbors nearby, your group will enjoy their time on the creek in near-total seclusion. Bring your kayaks and fishing gear to enjoy the creek in the cooler fall and winter months. We have beach towels and a few toys and floaties.

Location

"Quiet Waters On Deer Lake" is located at the end of a winding road less than 10 minutes from Wimberley, Texas and only 35 minutes from Austin or San Marcos. Wimberley is famous for shopping, swimming holes (Blue Hole & Jacob's Well) and has plenty of restaurants, two grocery stores, and tons of fun things to do and yearly events for the family or couples. The small town of Driftwood is nearby with multiple restaurants, wineries and breweries.
