Our cabin was located up in the mountains where we wanted to be. Beautiful place inside and out! Decorated very nice, the game room was a perk but we didnât use! The large deck was great for morning coffee and taking in the views. Very quiet and serene! Highly recommend staying here! Everything you need for a great vacation!
Location is amazing. Not as clean as I would like. Bed sheets were too small for our bed. Not sure how they were able to get that fitted sheet on. Luckily there were clean sheets for the pullout couch so we were able to replace it.
Only down fall about it was in the bathroom near the kitchen the water was brown and the driveway but that I could mange every thang else was perfect I would say it would sleep more then 6 people it would sleep 8 people. Definitely going try come back in May.
Welcomeing winter Vacay at the Blessed Bear Cabin..
My hubby, myself, and our minidox Toby traveled to Bear Cabin in Sevierville, TN, for a winter break. We did see snowflurries and we enjoyed a day out in Sevierville. We also enjoyed a lazy day at the cabin! This mini vacay was great! and a wonderful start for 2025
Our family had a wonderful stay. The cabin is beautiful and cozy. We did fail to lock our van on our last night and enjoyed watching a bear rummage through it haha so be sure to lock your vehicle!
My grandkids and son stayed with us. The kids enjoyed playing games and watching favorite movies. While adults enjoyed visiting coffee and cake while watching favorite movies. I think we may have a new Christmas tradition. The owner was amazing. Perfect place to enjoy family.
Cabin was clean and comfortable, especially the couch. Well stocked with dishes, utensils, and cookware. Was enjoyable to use the rocking chairs on the large deck when it started to get dark.
Stayed with my wife and parents. Loved this place. I'd highly recommend anyone staying here to lock the car doors ALL the time. A Mom and youngins showed up one morning, she opened the car door and one crawled inside! đČ
Small, tidy cabin but very comfortable for a few folks. Everything we needed was provided. Good lication between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge but closer to PF. We'd stay again if we return.
We love this neighborhood. The week after new years is always much quieter in town and in the park. Overall, quite happy with the rental property especially the new deck and rocking chairs! Could use a little more amenities in the kitchen. Lucky we brought a wine bottle opener, some extra cups and a few other things.
For a value priced rental, this hit the mark and kicked off the new year for my family
Cabin is located in perfect location, mountain road really steep and curvy. After a couple of trips, seemed easier. Air conditioner was broken when we arrived, but after contacting agent, was fixed following day. The water pressure was also very low but seemed OK in faucets.
We really enjoyed our stay. Our granddaughters have never been in this part of TN, and they loved it! We had a great time, but the traffic was horrible, which Iâm sure because of the Christmas holiday. Turning in the drive was tricky because even though we were in my little Bronco Sport, we still had to back in the drive. We had most of the things we needed, except there were no dish towels in the kitchen, only dish cloths. But pretty much everything else was supplied. Overall, we had a great stay and a great time!
The cabin is very nice. Clean and well supplied. The beds are nearly waist high, so it was a little tricky to climb up on them. Access to the cabin is via a series of narrow winding roads and I had to get into the driveway by going past it then backing up into it- the angle was too sharp to make a left turn directly into it.
Cabin was too dark and could have been cleaner. There are some electrical issues. TV worked once, but unable to get it on second night. The deck was the best asset.
First of all, on the last day of our stay, there was a snake in the bathtub. I almost had a heart attack. Then it went back down the drain. I'm glad we were leaving that day because I would not stay another night there. I had my daughter and granddaughter with me. You could tell someone had just vacated the cabin before our arrival because it wasn't cleaned. There was a big spider in the tall lamp shade. We couldn't figure the tv and called, she was very patient and helpful. The wifi was unreliable and we couldn't get a good and stable signal.
Overall the cabin was alright. I will agree with other reviews that it was cold! The back of the cabin does not seem to have any heat vents so it was especially cold near the game room and the gas fireplace was not working for us, may have been out of gas? Iâd suggest bringing extra blankets bc I found the quilts to be insufficient at night. Slippers during colder months would be nice to pack too. It was clean enough, minus dusty ceiling fans and a couple dust bunnies around the bathroom floor trim. I checked the mattresses after reading another person saying they were bit by bed bugs. I found no evidence nor did we get bit. The driveway and road leading to the cabin is narrow, but not unmanageable, if you arenât a new driver ( you are literally in the mountains, so this should be expected to an extent). Overall, this place was ok. My boys wanted to stay in a legit cabin and this fit the bill. Just plan accordingly if traveling in cooler/colder months!
