Best house on the island!

Stunning views of the Gulf, beautifully kept house, and the property manager, Terri, was an absolute delight. We will be back in NO TIME. Thank you Camp Goodnow for the awesome memories made :-)

Paradise

The house and beach location is simply amazing. If you are looking for relaxation, quiet time, with the beach and ocean within steps this is the place to be. The house is newly built and very well maintained. Lots of shells to be found, shark teeth, and fun to be had.

Camp good now

The house is very very nice however there are numerous sets of stairs so you must be careful and you will come back with buns of steel! Also for the appliances mainly the stove top they really should have left a manual, took us an hour and a half lol!

Simply Amazing

If you are looking for a vacation in paradise this is the place for you. The property was fully equipped with everything you need to include kitchen cookware, towels, bedding, and games. The location is perfect! Located directly on the beach with only a short walk to the ocean from the back of your property. The view was incredible! Plenty of shark teeth and sea shells to be found for everyone. I would highly recommend for an excellent family vacation. One note is that there are many stairs to gain access to the house and to access the beach. This was not a problem for our family since we had many hands to help. We will be returning next year for our family vacation.

Great Family Vacation!

This was our first family vacation in over 10 years! Half of us stayed at Camp Goodnow and the others stayed down the beach. We had a wonderful time all being together. Did a little boating and lots of beach time. The house was clean and easy to work together cooking and eating. Loved the view, especially from the master bedroom. All the amenities were there and we’d definitely recommend the house to others!

Awesome Vacation

This is the third year that our family has vacationed to the island and every year we rent this home. The location, view, beach and home is amazingly perfect. I would highly recommend!

Relaxing time on a welcoming island

We were there for a girl's getaway and had a wonderful, relaxing time. The home was beautiful - and the proximity to the beach can't be beat. People on the island were amazingly friendly and helpful. Accessing the island by water taxi physically and mentally left cares behind and started a great time. We will definitely be coming back.

Best view on the beach

The house was amazing. It is so nice and has everything you need. The property manager was really kind. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. We will definitely be back!

Girls Birthday Weekend

This was my second visit to LGI in two months. In this trip we were ladies only . We love the house is stunning! LGI is my favorite place at this time, perfect for family vacation or some relaxing time with your friends. The beach is beautiful and very save. Terry the property management is amazing and very helpful. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. Planing our next visit soon.

Beautiful Sunsets

The outside downstairs was really amazing, loved the hammock, shower, grill, and recreation items provided. We do wish we would have been told about the mosquitos and noseeums so we could have been more prepared and enjoyed the outside areas more. It was lovely to have your basic needs provided for you like comfortable sheets, towels, kitchen items, and it was very clean! We were concerned about the ferry service getting over, but they were wonderful! Just be sure you call in advance or you won’t make it to the island. Don’t expect too much from the concierge service. However, he did get our luggage to the property. Not having to make dinner the first night was perfect and we enjoyed the local Willy’s pizza. Terry was also wonderful! Be advised that if you miss trash pick up and the way you are required to bag it, you will literally have to take your trash off the island. We didn’t see the clear bags and stickers on the counter. The beach was not private, several other families used our walkway to get to and from the beach and there are multiple public easements on both sides of the house. Coming from a beach town, we were bummed that it didn’t feel more secluded the way it was advertised. We have less people at our own beaches at home. The Internet connection was a great surprise, no issues, which our teenagers were happy about! The sunsets were breathtaking and having nothing to do was a nice change of pace from busy life.

Paradise!!

This beautiful beach house was exactly everything I hoped for & more. Once you book, they send you all the information & contacts you need (parking, water taxi, grocery delivery, pizza delivery, golf cart rental, boat rental) which made it so easy. The island is a peaceful paradise. Most of our time on the beach there wasn’t another soul in sight. We watched dolphins every morning. The house is amazing, comfortable & very clean. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design & functionality of the house. We will definitely be back soon. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get away.

The best of everything

The house is beautiful and was perfect for our group of 6. I'll never forget the nights on the front deck watching the sunset. The beach is private and every person we met was friendly and welcoming. We've rented several beach houses as we escape the cold and this is my favorite so far. Thank you so much! (Also, shout out to Terry at the Property Management Group - she was very helpful during our stay when I had questions)

Absolutely Amazing!

We've stayed on LGI before but this is easily the nicest home we've stayed in. Fully equipped kitchen, gas grill with extra tank and a small charcoal grill also. The views of the ocean from either deck are stunning. The furniture it's extremely comfortable. The property manager (Lgi vacation rentals) was very friendly and made sure we were we'll taken care of. A couple nice things we weren't expecting were the large outdoor shower for use after getting out of the ocean, and the large amount of toys/games in the storage area underneath the home. Bean bag toss, floaties, beach toys, etc... If you have a chance to stay at the gorgeous beach home do it!!

Great house!

The house is new and in great shape. The check-in process was fine. We appreciated the cart ride from the dock, but couldn’t get a return ride upon departure which really stunk. Will plan better next time. We loved our time on the island and hope to return soon.

Perfect Getaway!

We had the best time at Camp Good Now! It was our first time to Little Gaspirilla Island. We were a bit nervous about the logistics as we had never been to a location that required a boat to access, came with an island concierge, and an on site coordinator. Usually, I book the location and show up. Though there were some extra details to attend to, everything went very smoothly and the level of information and coordination provided was very helpful. Camp Good Now is amazing....the architecture, design, comfort, lay out, etc. were obviously well thought out and every detail was intentional. We loved that! The morning coffee from the balcony, the late evening sunsets from the deck swing, the lazy afternoons in the hammock were stuff memories are made of. Then there is the island and the beach! When this house says it's on the beach... it is steps away! Beyond incredible, just as described. Two must do things if going to LGI.. Order delivery Pizza! What a treat. Real wood oven fired pizza, delivered to your door hot, by golf cart with a smile and dose of island folklore and history. Attend services on Sunday mornings at the island Chapel! Such a beautiful space, with friendly faces, great music and an inspiring message shared by a young local minister. Other than that....enjoy the long beach walks, friendly residents and visitors, puppies on the beach, sunshine, sun sets, views and peace. We will definitely be back.

First Visitors to Camp Goodnow

We were very lucky to be the first visitors to Camp Goodnow, a beautiful new house on Little Gasparilla. The house was clean, comfortable and in a great location on the beach. We intend to be back soon.
