We were looking for a quiet get away to explore the PNW and see the national/state parks. We had a great time, and had wild life on the property throughout the stay. Located equidistant to all of the parks but enough outside the city to stay peaceful, quiet, but still walkable.
The size of the 2 bedroom was perfect for the two of us. I didnât realize we didnât have a tv or couch, but it did not state in the description that they had one. I also didnât realize that there were other people renting space at the house as well. It was kind of strange being outside on the deck with them.
I was told we could check-in at 2 the day before. I text for the code a little after 2 and 20 minutes later I receive the code but when I show up Billâs wife didnât know I was coming early and was still cleaning.
The day we were leaving I was called to see what time we were leaving, checkout is at 11:30, this was at 10:30. We felt rushed to leave. In the midst of our hurry, a bottle of red wine spilled on the sheets, not the mattress, so I put them in the wash. I was then sent a text about the state of the sheets, found that to be a little off putting.
The yard was great, nature was beautiful. I felt a little uncomfortable.
My husband & I were in town for a wedding that included pre and post wedding activities. We stayed 4 nights & we loved the location in a quiet neighborhood. Bill & Bo are gracious hosts and I would recommend this Vrbo to anyone who wants to stay in the Issaquah area. Of note, the apartment does not include a living room or TV (but the free WiFi is excellent). I would definitely stay here again. Cindy
Great place, good adjustment by owner to unexpected issue with the primary choice, and very helpful with later questions. Personable host, and we'd return if an opportunity arose.
A happy Chinese/ American couple who love to travel and host people from other parts of the country and world. With covid issues--we can limit contact--but the back deck/ bbq is shared, and parking is also mixed...With that said, we are open to mutual discussion about travels and life over vino...
3/4 acre of scenic woods and wildlife, a peaceful oasis near the heart of Issaquah, the Evergreen is a dedicated suite, nicely furnished and private. Sharing the back deck, bbq, vino if so desired .... and the wildlife is almost daily... we love the community--and so will you
There has been some confusion regarding the Guest Cleaning Fee. To clarify: We expect the guest to treat the suite similar to their own home. But WE will wash the sheets, towels, clean the bathroom and kitchen, vacuum the carpet and mop the floorsâthat is normal cleaning. Even the occasional stain on the sheetsâwe will take care of. We do hope the guest will centralize empty containers and put them in the garbage cans, and the cans/ bottles in the recycling. Our guests have paid a cleaning feeâit is used properly... We want our guests to be happyâand if soâthen to return at a future date or refer their friends...
