    Location of the condo was perfect. Over all clean but when we first arrived, checking out kitchen for bowls and cups-a large clump of hair fell from the cups onto the countertop. Housekeeping could use a little work but overall the condo itself was exactly what we were looking for.

    Condo was not clean sand all over floor, counters and appliances not clean. Decor was very old and in poor condition. Original decor and furnishings, bedding worn out. Would not stay again in current condition.

    Absolutely perfect

    The condo was exactly what we thought it would be and more ! LOTS of room to move around in nice tv’s with direct tv bathrooms were huge and spacious and the kitchen was perfect size ! The view from the huge balcony was great and we loved being on the 4th floor !! Calypso is the perfect location also ! We will definitely be back !!

    Great location condo!

    4th floor very close to elevator- easy to get around. Amazing beachfront! Heated pool was fun and a nice temperature. Master bed was soft and comfy- great water views. If you’re a super picky person just know there is some deferred maintenance (balcony chairs) but nothing that affected our stay. There are no hangers in any closets which sucked. Very close to Pier Park - we walked alot. Fires at night were great. We would definitely stay again!

    Excellent time

    We were in town for my son’s senior year spring break. Our stay was amazing! It was a pleasant surprise to arrive having some toiletries provided, the place was clean and the view of the ocean breathtaking. The communication with the owner was great, directions provided accurate. Zero complaints from our stay and would recommend 100%.

    Bad news. Owner was non communicating had to buy silverware (which was in short supply) master bed too high for my short wife who had to sleep in other bed room dryer is awful (took 2 hours or more to dry most loads). We wound up leaving 2 1/2 weeks early just wasn’t a pleasant condo although one good thing was it’s 4th Floor location

    I would stay here again

    We stay at Calypso every September but it was the 1st time in this condo. The other reviews are accurate regarding the size and number of towels, pots & pans and lack of kitchen supplies in general. It was stocked with cleaning supplies though. Another odd thing to note is there isn’t a light above the dining room table and all of the light fixtures have old school yellow bulbs so it was very dark. The entire condo just needs updates & TLC. But We didn’t come to spend 8 days in the room anyway and the ease of getting down to the beach and around the campus overshadowed the negatives. I would stay here again if the price was right.

    Worst place we stayed

    I texted one week before to get the codes like the host asked me to do, she just answered around check-in time. Unit has 3 bedrooms but you’ll only have 2 parking passes. The towels, sheets and quilt smelt horrible, we washed before using. Sheets were really poor quality, pillows yellow and filthy. Towels were gray and size for kids. There were only 2 glasses and 2 small pans, so we ended up buying pans to cook. The unit was filthy and really dusty. The furniture old, some broken and with stains. This has been the worst place we’ve stayed and for sure the worst cleaning. When I reached out to the host regarding the condition of the unit, I never received a response!!!

    Minor repairs/cleaning needed in unit but perfect for a small family who wishes to spend most of your time on the beach and walking to pier park for shopping/dining in the evenings

    Condo was excellent!!!

    We have stayed at the Calypso several times. First time in this unit. The condo itself is very nice and clean. Cannot beat the location 👍. I will give you a few pointers so you are not surprised on your arrival. 1. The description does NOT include complete location. You will be in tower 2. Your room number will have a “2 “ in front of it. If it doesn’t, you are in the wrong location. 2. Bring extra bath towels, toilet paper, and kitchen trash bags. Hardly any there. 3. Never was able to access wifi. Another guest graciously shared his password with us. I certainly recommend staying here, just wanted you to be aware of the challenges. Communication was delayed by one day so if you have trouble accessing your room, you will be out of luck. The day and evening staff in the store are fabulous!!! They assisted us in accessing our room and everything else needed.

    The condo met all of our needs. It was spacious and stocked. The pool and beach access was amazing. Condo is located within walking distance of Pier Park. Condo staff was very nice.

    Awesome getaway

    I love this property, convenient to everything, beach, restaurants, shopping and Pier Park. I will definitely rent this unit again. I love it and you would too. The manager is so on time when you need them.

    4th floor is great!

    I was nervous about the view from the 4th floor but it's beautiful! 4th floor has the benefit of getting to us the center elevator that is rarely crowded. Condo was great, except the bath towels, they could use an upgrade. Check in and out was easy. Love the heated pool and tiki hut.

    Perfect location. Walking distance to Pier Park where there is tons of shopping. Close driving to Gulf World and the Zoo.

    Perfect Location

    We love the Calypso. This year we stayed here and while I was not sure about a condo on a lower floor, it certainly allowed us stunning views of the fireworks 2 nights in a row. The bed in the master bedroom is dreamy. The couch in the living room is brand new and provided us an amazing view of the water. We love condo living when we visit; it allows us the opportunity to cook meals when we don't feel like going out. The condo was very well stocked with laundry supplies, hand soap, coffee, and paper towels, all of which aren't provided or provided on a limited basis. Don't hesitate...book your stay in this condo!
