Perfect birthday weekend away. Close to everything. One of the best equipped kitchens in a rental Iâve ever seen. Clint was great. Would definitely return again.
Wonderful little cabin. We loved the walk down to the river, a very peaceful place. The host were so prompt and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely stay again.
Great location and view. Very near to everywhere we wanted to go. Loved the view and fishing a short walk from the cabin was great. Caught lots of trout.
This was our fourth trip to the cabin. It is always clean and inviting. Love the relaxing sounds of the river. Saw elk in the feild in front of the home. The host is always so responsive and nice.
This is a quaint, cozy cabin. Close to many outdoor activities but situated far enough to sit quietly and relax on the porch all day. Well equipped cabin for a couple or friends weekend, surrounded by the mountains and a gentle river below.
Clean, quite and great location. Hoping to maybe go again around the end of October or the first of November but looking to possibly get both cabins to bri g my parent and my wifes mother with us.
Cabin was neat and clean. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, etc. Beds were comfortable. Cabin overlooks the river. Beautiful setting. We had a wonderful visit, and even caught a few trout. Communication with Clint was excellent. Highly recommend.
Beautiful place, cozy, convenient to downtown. The kitchen was well stock for our cooking needs and grilling was perfect. We greatly enjoyed fires at night. Our fishing was not that great, my sister only caught two. I have walking issues but didn't want to risk it. Looking forward to our next trip.
Always LOVE staying here! This will be our third stay at this cabin and it never disappoints, always clean, always welcoming. Great view of the water off the back porch. We found an easier way to get down to the water just down the street so we wouldn't have to hike up and down with our fishing equipment. Husband caught lots of fish just behind the cabin because the water was just full of big trout! The host is so friendly and willing to go above and beyond it seems to make sure you are doing good during your stay. Grill and firepit outside made it to where you wanted to definitely spend quality time outdoors. The cabin is always super clean and ready to enjoy, everything is just really great and will continue staying here year after year.
The view of the river was worth the price of admission alone. We slept with the windows open in August. Clint was a fantastic host! The cabin was clean and perfect for our stay.
This is our 3 stay and will be an annual vacation for my sister and me! We love this cabin! It is the perfect spot close to everything yet away from everything!
My wife and I are graduates of Western Carolina University and hadn't been in this area in over 25 years. We were able to go back - the mountains were calling. The cabin was so cute. It had everything we needed and the deck overlooking the river was our favorite part of the trip. It was so relaxing and peaceful. We really enjoyed sight seeing in this area and had a wonderful stay!
Simple little cabin neatly nestled by the river with everything you need. Just show upâŠ.!
Great time staying here. Went there to explore with fishing and hiking. Conveniently located to everything with the feel of being out in the countryside.
Very quaint little cabin. Perfect size for a quick getaway in the mountains. Very clean. Really appreciate the host being quick to answer the phone if I had questions. Would definitely stay there again.
These cabins are awesome! Clint is a great host and the cabins are better than described! I always feel like everything is super clean and accommodating. 100/10 recommend staying here!
We visited the Appaloosa 2 while we were in the area checking out the national park and a few other nearby attractions. We had three small children with us and the cabin was clean and completely accommodating. The back porch overlooking the Oconaluftee was a real treat, as was the riverside area below the cabin. It's secluded enough for adequate privacy but not so much so that you can't quickly drive to nearby attractions. It was about 10 minutes to the Oconaluftee Visitor Center and a short drive to Bryson City, Sylva and Cherokee--all worth exploring. We had a great time and would recommend.
