Our stay was relaxing, just as we hoped. This home is really close to all the hiking trails on Newfound Gap Rd, a few miles to the Blue Ridge Pkwy and much more. If you want a quiet location, this is your spot. Home is comfortable with ample living, dining and kitchen space. The front porch in the morning and evening is so peaceful. The owner was very responsive to anything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.
The property and everything was the best experience I have every experienced in my 3 years of booking homes online. The only negative was air flow and all open windows kinda creepy at night. Overall best experience!
GREAT:
Geographically (on point)
Relaxing (on the porch)
Exceptional (beauty in the park)
Attentive (hosts)
Time (of our lives)
Beats any of the hotel/motel options by 100 miles in our familyâs opinion.
The entire process through the stay was just amazing. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. We showed up to the place and there was a basket with some goodies waiting on us, communication was great as-well. Would definitely stay here again.
This place surprised me by being everything I needed and more. Cherokee donât have many places like this hidden gem. Itâs quiet, clean, and the best yard to visit with family. Iâd stay here every time I go home.
Very cute old house in between the mountains. Beautiful little country church on the hill. A lamp for the living room and one on the bedside table would make the stay much nicer. And the grills werenât usable. But the place was quaint and clean and a very nice getaway.
We drove up here from Central Florida and this house was everything and then some.
Views driving up to the house, amazing, house was clean, very nice, and in a very quiet area.
Saw so many Elk on the drives in. Would definitely return.
Owner was quick to respond as well.
Had zero issues property wise !
Property as advertised and photos are as well. It was a great location for our family vacation for fishing, tubing, hiking, and just sitting on the porch. Every morning on our way out and every afternoon on our way in we saw elk and turkey in the field by the river. House was clean, appliances new, a/c worked well, and water was hot. We were well pleased with our stay.
The home was beautiful inside and out. The owners were so gracious and kind. The home was Very Clean and very comfortable. We truly felt at home and enjoyed our Christmas and New Year at the Farmhouse. When we go back to Cherokee we are definitely going to book the property again.
We truly enjoyed the peace and quiet of this little farmhouse. We saw Elk in the field near the turn in road every day, including bucks fighting. Very convenient to National Park. Lots to see. House was very clean with nice appliances and comfortable beds. Host very kind and responsive to questions.
My family and I had the best vacation here! The home was extremely clean, nice, and unique. Upon our arrival the owners had put together a gift basket and sign welcoming us. The drive through the Great Smoky Mountains park to arrive at the home was breathtakingly. We saw elk, bears, and turkeys. The neighborhood the house is located in was very safe and welcoming. I took many walks and met numerous locals of the neighborhood who were extremely welcoming and told us many wonderful sights to see and great places to eat. The location was one of a kind. Being able to stay at a house so nice in the Great Smoky Mountains was once in a lifetime experience. We will definitely be booking this house many times in the future.
Fabulous location in the Park with easy access to Cherokee. Loved every minute there. Definitely will stay there again in we ever get back to the Great Smokeys.
