The property itself was wonderful, exactly what we were hoping for. The only drawback to the entire experience had nothing to do with the property, only its location. The road to get to it was a little on the long, winding, and narrow side, but that is to be expected in the middle of the mountains. The fact that Bryson City really didn't have much to interest us beyond the railroad trip we came for is the real reason we're not likely to come back again. There's just not a lot going on near the cabin, very few restaurants, shopping, or anything but mountains. Again, NOT the fault of the property or its owners, who have a lovely place, one I am sure will be utterly perfect for many types of vacationers.
