When you visit Cherokee, you may want a bit of solitude but you also may want to be close to downtown where a lot of the attractions are.

Hope's Cottage is in walking distance to the Harrah's Cherokee Casino. At this location, you can hop on the 441/Parkway - The Great Smoky Mountain National Park or Blue Ridge Parkway within minutes. With a short 15 minute drive, you can be in downtown Bryson City or downtown Dillsboro.

What a lovely, bright space! Cozy and light, there is ample seating here in the lovely living room along with a flat-screen TV. Each bedroom is supplied with a smart TV. Pillows are goose feather.

Would you like to grab a cup of coffee on the deck in the morning? The covered porch would love to host you as you gear up for the day!

Hope's Cottage is a great location for the vacationers who are on the go or just chilling while visiting the Smoky Mountains. The perfect spot for the folks that would like to try their luck at the Harrah's Cherokee Casino.

Downtown Bryson City has an elevation of 1,752 feet, so think of this as a starting point. The majority of our cabins will have a higher elevation than this. This means that our roads- both state and private- will be steeper, narrower, and curvier than you may be use to driving. Also, you should expect to encounter gravel roads. Consider it part of our rural mountain charm!

Met the owner and he was a very nice man. We stayed in on Thursday morning to let WIFI people change a router. We were given a discount for the day. Thought we would stay an extra day and paid for an extra but then decided to leave because of rain. The house and location are perfect.

The kitchen is significantly under stocked. After fixing a bean dish on one of the stove eyes, we wanted to serve it in a dish that was microwaveable
no serving bowls period, to my recollection.One of the eyes on the stove needs attention. It appeared as though the outer coil worked, but not the inner coil.

Simply Beautiful

This is one of the best VRBO’s I have ever visited. What a cute little home and it’s conveniently located, clean and neat, and somewhat secluded. I will definitely stay here again.

Great location

Close to Harrah’s. Neat and clean house. Needs more kitchen supplies (pots & pans, utensils , potholders). One of the chairs on side porch has an arm that’s not connected to chair, with screws/nails exposed. I reported to property management our last stay, but it had not been fixed. I would definitely recommend and stay here again!

The property was great! We could see the casino from front porch. Within walking distance to it as well. Clean and just right for our stay!! Will definitely book this rental for future Harrah’s trips!

Fourth of July get away

Plenty of room nice clean place. Internet didn’t work they came and fixed right away. House is clean but the king bed is a nightmare the side dips so bad you feel like you’ll fall off so my husband slept on the couch during our stay. I do wish kitchen was more equipped mixing bowl better pans and silverware that doesn’t feel like plastic. Now don’t get me wrong it’s a great place just be prepared if your cooking. We love this area it’s convenient to everything

At first was upset but they made it right

When I got there the house was uncleaned and nasty. I made a phone call and they were [very concerned and had a cleaning lady come out at 7 pm to clean house. Other than that it was great.

Concert weekend

The house was clean. Great location. Driveway is skinny but fine. The bathrooms are very nice. The house needs to be updated. The bed's squeak was terrible in both rooms. The floor was soft in so many spots there is a terrible transition spot from kitchen to den and is a hazard. The front door in to the house needs a rug on the inside that is no slip. We almost fell several times do to the wetness and the. Hitting the tile floor. Overall the stay was fine for the price. The musty smell started to subside after the second day.

First and last time STAYING HERE!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Asked for early check in, was told we had to wait for cleaning crew to clean property. We had no problem waiting, cleaning crew was able to complete early. We entered at 2pm, upon arrival sticky drink rings on the bar& wet wash cloth in chair. Butter left on countertop. Later that evening we noticed mouse poop on the countertop, kitchen table and in the refrigerator. The mouse came out to visit from behind the stove. We called numerous times Saturday weren’t able to get ahold of anyone. So we were stuck with the mice for the weekend. We finally got a someone Monday morning and was told yeah we know we’ve had pest control out last week and sorry for the inconvenience. D’con mouse trap was laying on the floor by the fireplace and poison was visible in different areas of the house. Very unsafe!! I’ve been renting places in Cherokee for 15 years and never had problems with mice, roaches or bed bugs until staying at this property. We are still waiting on a call back from a supervisor! This was the first time renting from Yellow Rose and we will never rent from them again. I have pictures of the the poop on the counter, table, fridge and the mouse.
