A lovely old rustic property with an amazing pool big enough for 8, plenty of outdoor areas for us to sit at in the shade, set in 2 acres of land to explore. 8 sun loungers, large outdoor and indoor tables, and views of the other side of the valley. The owners were very attentive from booking through to making sure we were ok during the stay. Would defiantly stay again.
When we all arrived at the property we were struck by the tranquillity and beauty of the place. Our own amazing pool, and a spacious ,cool house, full of French charm. I was so happy when I arrived that I cried....and then on leaving I cried with sadness. It was as though we had left the world behind and were free at last....and it was a wrench to leave this little piece of heaven behind.
We usually never cook on holiday, but here we had a big kitchen diner, and BBQ area outside, and it was a pleasure just to stay in and cook or have a BBQ. It felt like a home, not a holiday home. The views were just gorgeous, and there were plenty of comfy sun beds and outdoor furniture to relax on and admire it. We will be going back for sure. It is to date our favourite place to stay.
We stay here every year and have thoroughly loved it a gorgeous country villa. Everything was as expected and is always very clean. All the rooms are of a great size and the housekeeper is on hand to solve any problems if necessary. The pool is one of the best we have experienced and most of our holiday was spent chilling out around it or under the terrace with a glass of rose!
You won't be disappointed. Money well spent and we'll continue to visit as long as we can.
We had a fantastic stay at Timberlake. We stayed for 10 days, with a group of friends and we spent most of our time at the Villa. Timberlake is in Rustic French style and it was clean and well presented, the outdoor swimming pool was a welcome addition on the long, hot days! The property was well equipped with everything we needed. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all clean and tidy. We spent the evenings outdoors at the BBQ with a glass or two of vino! There are plenty of restaurants and shops within a short driving distance. Fayence is a lovely place to visit, it is traditional and unspoilt by modernisation. Another good place to visit is the Verdon Gorge with its breathtaking views! We would have no hesitation in recommending this property to friends or family!
Great location, charming, rustic, typically French
A small misgiving as we turned off at the junction towards Tourette and the small road that took us up a winding hill towards Timberlake, the turnoff was not well signposted and the road went around some industrial buildings. However, arriving at Timberlake we very soon lost any trepidation we may have had.
The property is charmingly rustic and very typically French, just what we wanted. It is also very spacious with lots of clean bedding and towels. The whole place was very clean and a bottle of local wine was awaiting our arrival.
The pool is amazing, big enough to swim actual pool lengths that make a difference!! It was also exceptionally clean, also has a pool alarm, which was vital as we had our tiny granddaughter with us.
Six adults and a one year old stayed very happily at the property for two weeks, sleeping very well as the property is cool in the evenings because of it's location.
Supermarkets and villages are a short drive from the property and are abundant.
We enjoyed our stay so much that we are returning for two weeks in August 2015, highly recommend if you want to stay typically French, sun, food, wine and peace.

We have stayed twice at Timberlake over the passed three years and would love to visit again, we would have not hesitation in recommending a stay to our friends and family!

As owners we have successfully hosted guests for the past 20 years. We are approachable both prior to and during your stay. Our aim is to provide a memorable, relaxing and comfortable holiday.
We chose this area because of its central location to both the alps and the mediterranean with all its resorts Cannes, St Raphael, Frejus and St Agulf and St Tropez. Lake St Cassien is within 15 minutes drive and provides lakeside beaches, fishing, water sports, swimming, bars and restaurants. As keen walkers the property is located on a dedicated walking area.
The villa itself is traditional and provides a cool retreat from the summer heat. The kitchen/dining/lounge area provides a unique inclusive entertaining space for families to enjoy and socialise. The Owners subscribe to Netflix and Amazon Prime. French TV is available. There is fibre broadband internet.
There is an outside built in barbeque and covered terrace for al fresco dining. There is plenty of shade provided by front, side, and rear terraces. The bedrooms are spacious. Bedding and towels are provided.
The large swimming pool is in an area that attracts sun all day long. A solar cover maintains and enhances the temperature of the water even in the cooler months. It has a salt water system which alleviates the need for the use of excessive chlorine and chemicals. A local pool company services the pool weekly. For those who enjoy an evening swim there are underwater pool projector lights and surrounding lighting, A pool house provides shade to relax and enjoy the ambiance of the pool.
Situated in 2 acres of wooded gardens the property provides a peaceful retreat.
