The house is in a great location. It was quiet and peaceful but close enough to walk to anything you might need. The bed was comfortable and the whole place had good vibes.
We loved our stay at this property! Everything we wanted to see and doâthe River Walk, the Alamo, good restaurants, etcâwas in walking distance. The pool was essential and helped us relax after spending time in the heat. The accommodations inside were great, and everything was clean and comfortable. Our only regret was that we couldnât stay longer!
Cindi was very welcoming. She was always available if we needed anything. During the week she washed our sheets and towels. We were able to walk to the Riverwalk within 5-10 minutes.
My wife and I took an overnight trip to San Antonio and wanted to be close to the Riverwalk without having to pay Riverwalk prices. This place was exactly what we needed! The hosts were very nice and the property was immaculately clean. Fluffy towels, coffee, hair dryer, walk-in shower, privacy - check, check, check, check and check! The neighborhood was extremely quiet (no road noise whatsoever) so we slept great. It was too cool outside during our stay to enjoy the dipping pool and the outdoor areas but it gave the place and overall awesome vibe. Weâd love to stay again next time we visit and Iâd recommend this place without reservation. If youâre looking for a conveniently located, clean, quiet place to stay with super nice hosts, stay here!
Cute neighborhood! We loved that we could walk to downtown festivities and eating places! The cottage was clean and cozy, and we especially enjoyed the small dipping pool! Very refreshing! Cindi and Steve were very friendly and helpful!
Excellent location short walk to the Riverwalk, Alamodome, parks and restaurants, clean and spacious, nothing to improve upon. Excellent communication and instructions.
The property is very well kept and the hosts are very kind and accommodating. The neighborhood is in transition. Very eclectic. There are homes that range from brand new construction, to in the process of total renovation, to homes that are well lived in. I have stayed in this neighborhood three times so far, and would have no problem staying there again. The hosts are very nice people and very communicative. Unfortunately, we missed meeting in person. The property is described well. It is a single room, clean, well furnished and comfortable. It seems relatively new.I recommend staying here if the property fits your needs.
Cute little cottage. A little tight inside with a large mattress-beanbag thing. Just perfect enough for a quick getaway from New Braunfels. Very clean. Perfect spot for everything downtown. Would stay again if pool was cleaner.
Great little spot with excellent access to downtown sites, restaurants, and the Riverwalk. Quiet, peaceful surroundings. The cottage is thoughtfully prepared for guests.
Words canât even explain. Great hospitality and environment from Cindi, her Fur babies and Husband. Would definitely stay again great spot and location if you want to see San Antonio.
Stay was great. Neighbor got a little loud Past midnight on Saturday. But other than that it was great. Comfy bed. Great communication!! Thank you again
The property is perfect for two. We enjoyed the outdoor patio and took advantage of the great location. It's in walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the Riverwalk. Cindi was an excellent host!
From the moment of our arrival, the care with which our host had taken to prepare an oasis for a weary traveler was immediately obvious. Tastefully appointed in rustic "ol' San Antonio" style, the "casita" (as she referred to the space) has all the ambiance an ideal, singularly private, artist studio. Cindi is an extraordinarily warm and gracious host, and we feel very fortunate to have been her guests.
Location is perfect for walking to King William neighborhood or riverwalk attractions. We parked our truck on the street and never worried about it. Absolutely peaceful and quiet! Guesthouse had everything we needed and is decorated beautifully. Host responded quickly to all our questions! We had a wonderful stay!
The guest cottage was amazing! It was clean and comfortable. Perfect size for the 2 of us. Bed was comfortable (loved the linen sheets!). I was able to sit outside with my laptop and attend a call. We sat out by the dipping pool one evening but most of the time we were exploring San Antonio. The guesthouse is in a quaint older neighborhood We arrived on Sunday evening and did not use our car until Wednesday when we drove to the Missions. Walked to the Riverwalk, the Alamo and the Tower of the Americas. Also so many great places to eat nearby.
Cindi was a great host. She greeted us when we arrived and was available via text. Even though we were in her backyard we had privacy. Highly recommend!
I have spent my entire life in Texas from North to South. I moved to San Antonio in 1997 and spent 20 years in the bicycle retail business. Cycling is a passion of mine. I moved downtown in 2014 and fell in love with the urban lifestyle. My family and I walk everywhere and enjoy the food and entertainment afforded to us all along the river. We love to cycle along the Mission Reach trail which goes past all the historic Missions. The Mission Reach now has a world heritage designation and is a real gem for San Antonio. I live on the property and really enjoy hosting visitors from all corners of the world. San Antonio is a great place to live and visit.
I moved to this property in 2014 because I wanted to live in an urban area with a small footprint. I wanted to be able to walk to many destinations and ride by bicycle to a bike path right from my house. My neighborhood is called Lavaca and I have terrific neighbors, many of them multi-generational. We enjoy a simple lifestyle surrounded by history.
My property is small and full of charm. The main house was built in 1890 yet the additions are very perfect balance of old and new. The backyard is my favorite spot with a beautiful view of the Tower of America. We have an outdoor dining table, pool, ping pong and a Chimenea fireplace with pinon wood ( smells heavenly) for those cooler evenings. Very peaceful and quiet right in the heart of downtown.
