Friendly staff from check in to check out. They were great with communicating the entire stay asking if there was anything they could assist with, gave dining & activity options, providing a very inviting atmosphere etc. I will definitely book again.
The owner answered all my questions via email and phone and was really friendly.
Now, as far as the actual place... AMAZING! It's a full apartment within 10 minutes of all Disney parks. There's a Walmart across the street to stock up on groceries to save some money (since the unit has a fridge, plates/silverware, and microwave). The are washers and dryers on each level, so you can pack light! Also there's a pizza shop inside the community that delivers (and within walking distance), an arcade, coffee/ice cream shop, a mini mart, and some other things - it really is a full resort, so no need to leave unless you want!
The place is beautiful and very well maintained. We will definitely stay here again on future trips!
I'm so glad we found this place!
Our experience surpassed both the description and the pictures. I know there were some other reviewers that had problems with check-in and types of room but we had a great experience with both.
Westgate Town Center grounds are really well kept, you can see the staff constantly cleaning, gardening and upgrading. It was a pleasure to be around. I walked to almost all the pool/spa locations and they were all well maintained and humming.
Check in was a breeze and stafff was friendly and helpful. Our room was immaculate upon arrival. Bed was super comfy. Kitchen was well stocked with essentials like soap/towels/sponges.
Only two minor issues: Shower water temperature was indeed capped at 'warm' not hot. And due to the floor tile and echoey space we could hear everything our neighbors did and said. Fortunately we found the whole vibe to be low-key and relaxed, lots of families and retired couples. And the resort has a noise policy that was observed by all during our stay.
Location is excellent especially for Disney facilities, a 5-minute drive and you're on Disney property. Lots of stores and restaurants local too. Walmart/Starbucks across the street from the resort entrance. Overall a great value and a super-enjoyable stay!
We got a newly renovated room right next to the water park and restaurants. It was absolutely gorgeous and so convenient to have everything you could need on the premises! You do have to pay to get in the water park but was well worth it especially for our daughter thatâs almost two. It was nice to be able to come to and from the water park during the day so we could take our kids up to the room for naps. They were also pet friendly which was a huge plus! Will definitely come to this property again!
I was placed in a hotel like room with two queen beds instead of a suite with a large tub, kitchenette, balcony, and small living room area. This was very inconvenient- o purposely booked this listing because I had two toddlers and needed the extra room for them and not a hotel room. We also needed a bath tub and only had a shower unlike the picture in the listing. I contacted the owner twice with no reply. Will be requesting a refund!!!
If you are looking to rent this PLEASE donât. The unit looks nothing like the pics
Horrible, Nothing like the pics, itâs someoneâs time share and you have to go through so much just to get your money back. The owner post pics of other rooms. When you get there they will give you whatâs available for the price range you paid for but I promise you itâs nothing like what you see. He may even try to convince you to stay and offer you compensation for a tour. Not worth it⊠He is desperate and will not have any sympathy for you. After our blowout 12/9/2021 he still has this up there knowing that this is not what customers will get. In adddition to this west gate will not refund you. West gate Management was very upset when i showed them the Ad. They said our rooms donât look like this anymore and doesnât have all these amenities in these types of rooms for that price. He really tried to stiff us. Shame on him
Frustrated, disappointed. We checked in on November 13th, on the following morning, we saw a bed bug crawling on our bed, we called the desk immediately, thereâs poor communication of staff, we did our errands that day & waited for update but nobody called to tell us about the status of the incident, we returned Sunday evening & a supervisor/manager arranged for a new unit for us to spend our second night. We had to put all our clothes in the drier for possible bed bugs that might have entered our luggages. I also texted the owner that same morning & was told to call the desk. He did not follow through w/ us if the situation was taken cared of. It was a total inconvenience and ruined our weekend getaway.
I rented 2 nights, the first one wasn't the room I rented, didn't have the hot top and until next day after lunch I got the room I supposed to get, after discussing with 2 different front desk workers and the manager. Very disappointing
Starr here before was excellent though through priceline
Let me stay with after initial payment online was sent an email stating there was an additional fee and that to confirm reservation I needed to pay it. Not knowing what it was for I attempted to contact the owner manager the night before coming down however at that exact time he called me He said it was A text but he saw that I had already paid the tax and said he waved that fee . First of all a fee is not a tax and cannot be confused for each . First night was a disaster and owner /manager said I would get a refund for the first night. To try to keep as short as possible hereâs a list of problems. Safe didnât work. Sliding door would not lock. Went to parks and had to take valuables with us. During which time maintenance fixed sliding door. After coming back from parks and going to sleep around 11 we received a doorbell at almost midnight was a large family who had mistaken us for the wrong room. This was understandable but a frustration nonetheless. After which they were being quite noisy and ended up going into the room across from us for a birthday party which seem to start at 12:30. Before that though they went to the hall and weâre talking and then a security guard try to walk into my room without identifying himself or knocking or ringing the bell. He asked if I own the unit downstairs and the one I was in I said no I checked in today he apologized and left the large family continuing to be noisy I called and asked if someone could talk to them about keeping the noise down. But instead of contacting that group they came to my room and knocked on my door and got me out of bed again and asked me if I called and I said yes about the people next-door without attempting to say anything to them he left I called the front desk asked for a new room at around 1245 they said they were giving me a new room keys were on the way we did not get into our new room until 2:45 in the morning was put on hold several times by front deskI ended up driving to the front desk and getting the keys myself
