We spent a great week with five people in the apartment (2 adults and 3 children). The apartment is located near the slopes, and a bakery and a pizzeria are also nearby. The communication with the landlord was nice and uncomplicated.
The apartment is in aguile grive 2 a short walk from the slopesThe appartment was clean and well equipped and making good use of the limited space available to fit 2 adults and our 3 teenage kidsThe super king bed in master bedroom was very comfortable Check in was easy through the concierge service and michel was great to communicate withAlthough expensive parking in the charmetogger indoor car park is recommended for ease and convenience of loading and unloading, pre book well in advance of your stayThe slopes are are 150m from bottom door and subject to abilty and snow you can almost ski back to doorGreat half tern ski holiday
We were with 4. One adult and teenaged kids. We loved the apartment. Itâs very well equipped as you can notice that the owners use it them self and take good care of it.The ski lift âCharmettogerâ is just 100m, a small walk but climb. We had enough snow to ski back to the bottom of the apartment. There is a bakery with fresh croissants and baguette below the apartment and also a pizza restaurant. Tip: It can be really busy at the pizzeria so order timely and set a pick-up time. The village is just 5-10 min walk where you have a supermarket, shops and restaurants.
Michel is an absolute pleasure to work with. There is a little reading to be done. The car parking, the checkin process, linen etc. is all very straight forward, once you have read and understood the process but you MUST read it all at least a week or two before your stay to make it all smooth running. Les Arcs 1800 is a maze, so it takes a day or three to find your way around but what a place, and Michel is lovelly. I have a little claustrophobia and I am 6'2" so standing upstairs in the duplex with low ceilings was the only niggle. I also do not think it would be comfortable to stay in the apartment with 5 people, especially 5 adults, (there are 5 beds) but as a small family, it is amazing. We will be back I think. On a final note, Les Arcs, especially 1800 - for beginners / intermediates is a dream. I have never seen so many quality Blue runs and the reds we took on were also nice and wide. Recommend
The appartment its self was really nice and was perfect for our group. It was clean and had a well equipt kitchen. The location is on the edge of the town so was quiet, which suited us, a few min walk to the closest chair lift and a great bakery/deli and pizzeria at the bottom of the appartment block.
However the management of this property was very poor. The advert specified that bed sheets were not provided, confirmed this with the host who said we could rent some. However when we arrived all beds had sheets but no duvet covers or pillow cases. There was also no bath towels.
Contacted the host regarding the issues above who sent someone round to dropnoff towls and pillow cases. They informed me they dont use duvet covers. However when the person dropped the towels off they locked a cupboard that one of our party had used to store their suitcase in during our stay. Again the host was quick to send someone out to sort these issues out.
Id give this appartment 3/5. The appartment was good but it was a faf having to email the host before and throught our stay. The advert could be clearer on what does and does not come with the property.
We very much enjoyed staying in your appartment With our three grown-up children. It was well equiped, clean, cosy, nicely situated with a skishop and backery and little shop downstairs where you could get everything you need. Nice view on the mountains. The village with skipass rental, shops and restaurants is on a short walk.
