I had a good time but there was a lot of rule and the property manager did not respond to the inbox message for a week when i had a question. The refrigerator was a little dirty but they charge a cleaning fee. I also didnât get the code to the house until 20 minutes late. The property is beautiful inside but it seem like we was being watched out by the pool and backyard area.
Beautiful home inside and out. The owner was accessible and responded to my questions promptly. Only drawback was the actual check in process. I wasnât able to receive check-in info ( code to house)until the actual time of check-in. The inbox on the app was not working so, it made it a little more complicated to get into the home due to the entry info being sent last minute. Eventually we received it via text and it all worked out. Iâd definitely recommend this as a place to stay!
Below the list of problems that we've encountered with the property:
-> Although we were informed that the pool and whirlpool are available to be used until 10pm, it was not true. The pool was switched on between 11am-4pm. The primary purpose of us choosing this property was a pool area, so having it switching off at 4pm defeated the purpose of having it in the first place (we were never there at the time) . Also the whirlpool could not be activated at any time!
-> The bbq grill was dirty when we arrived. We planned to prepare food there, but everyone was too disgusted to do so
-> The wine glasses and plates have not been cleaned properly and they smelt terrible (as if wiped with a dirty cloth). The smell in the kitchen cupboards was mouldy. The property manager commented on this in the following manner: "the dishes are supposed to be done by the guests". Yes, the first thing we do when we arrive at a vacation rental is to clean the dirty dishes left by other people!
-> The wi-fi was not working. We were adviced "to stay in close range to the bedroom with the single bed since that's where the router is" (!!!)
-> The property manager kept sending us requests to close balcony door as the owner got notifications that the door was open. The door was always closed, so I guess the sensors were also not working
-> We have sent a detailed overview of all the problems to the property manager - she was responsive in the beginning but when asked to meet and see the issues in person she stopped responding. What an unprofessional approach!
To summarize, this property was fell short of our our expectations. I would definitely not recommend it to anyone.
