Wonderful stay for our family reunion

We had a wonderful week staying in Pullman! We loved kayaking and canoeing out on the lake and watching the sunset every night. The house and property were perfect for what we needed.

Great place to stay.

The house was clean and has everything you need. The check in and check out process was easy. We loved waking up to the beautiful view. The owner was very responsive to any questions and/or concerns. I would definitely come back and stay at this property again. We had such a great time.

Family Weekend.

Plenty of room, so nice to have so many bathrooms. The game room is awesome. Kitchen is plenty big. So nice to have a large table, it was perfect for our group. It is a bit noisy, everything echos to the other side of the house. Your range may need to be addressed. When we used it, it took 3 times longer to get done than normal. But it was fine. The kitchen drawers were not very clean, a lot of crumbs ect. Also, your cookie sheets were dirty. We definitely had a great time, the beds were very comfortable! Thank you!

Annual ladies retreat

Our group of 8 ladies thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Swan Shores. The house was extremely clean and welcoming, nothing was amiss. The yard was freshly mowed and had periodic pickup of lake geese poo. The lake itself is lovely and very quiet. The local town of Pullman appears to have fallen on hard times and there is nothing of interest to see there; however, it was only 20 minutes to Saugatuck and South Haven for day trip adventures. We plan to come back next year!

Get away with friends

Great property! Loved the layout of the home, living room at each end of the home made for a great place for teens and adults to hang out close by but enjoy space. Pool table was a hit! Lots of seating and good lighting. Beautiful view of the lake!

Great property for families/larger groups

Our party of 7 stayed here and it was a perfect base for our trip. We loved the games room and it was well used. The property was very clean and well equipped. The location on the lake was beautiful - we’d love to come back and fully utilize the outdoor space when the weather is warmer.

Family Holiday

We had a great holiday stay with family! The floor plan of the home was perfect for our large group, the kids were able to play out back in the snow, and we had a wonderful fire! We were able to get in a few walks around the lake as well! It would be a great home for a summer stay too;)!!!

Great lake house for families

This house was great for our large family. Everyone had their own room and bathroom and it was great for kids to run in and out to the lake. Quiet area but only 20 mins to South Haven. Kitchen was well stocked and AC was very efficient.

Family Christmas

We had a Christmas get together for extended family from 5 different states. It was perfect. The adults loved the space to sit and visit. The kids loved the game area. The view was beautiful. Definitely going to try to plan to come back.

Great spot for our family gathering

We had a wonderful gathering with extended family to celebrate Thanksgiving. Several people enjoyed playing pool. There were enoigh beds a d bathrooms for everyone. The long dining room table allowed us all to eat together. We enjoyed playing board games and looking out at the lake. A great place for our time together.

Wonderful Family Get Away!

Swan Shores was the perfect property for our mini family vacation. We had 6 adults and 7 kids and there was more than enough space for all of us! The home was very clean and kept up very well. Elizabeth was wonderful to work with and was always quick with a response. We had such a good time that we are already planning another (longer) visit. I highly recommend Swan Shores!

Family vacation

We had a wonderful family vacation with 13 adults. The set up of the home was nice and it was well equipped with kitchen supplies. The bedrooms were a little small and one did not have a closet. The outside deck and fire pit were very nice, however there was an intermittent foul odor that we smelled through out our vacation.

Great property

This rental made our winter vacation easy and enjoyable. The snow was cleared on the parking area and front walk. It was a perfect place. We all had our own bedroom and bathroom. The washer and dryer was so handy to dry clothes after playing outside in the snow. The kitchen was well equipped for all our needs. It was a home away from home. Infinitely better than a hotel room and with 5 of us we would have had to rent two hotel rooms. The cost per night was comparable to the cost of two hotel rooms and with all the amenities this property provided, so much better than a hotel. Would definitely recommend this property for your vaction.

Great family gathering place

We stayed here for a family gathering of 7 siblings and spouses. We had a great time. The building is designed for and perfect for 7 couples with 7 bedrooms, all with very close access to bathrooms. The house looks new inside and out, well equipped with quality appliances (even has 2 refrigerators which was a big plus), comfortable beds. Having the great room and rec room at opposite ends of the house is a benefit. Everything was spotlessly clean. Yard and small beach was nicely kept, no issues with goose droppings altho we did have to chase them away one morning. They didn't come back. Great view, especially at sunset. A very nice place to stay.

We could not have been more thrilled with our stay at this location and are already planning to return next year! We stayed here for a family trip with 8 adults and 6 kids between the ages of 3-9. The space was PERFECT! The home is clean, organized, and absolutely beautiful. We loved having the private beach in our backyard where our kids could splash around in shallow water and play in the sand. There was plenty of space in the home for us to enjoy meals together and run around and play. The game tables were great for both kids and adults! Beds were super comfy and we had everything we needed. The location is great, about 20 minutes from Saugatuck and South Haven. The fire pit at night was beautiful. This house is a gem- you won’t regret booking it!

I was raised in southwest Michigan, in the Grand Rapids area, and I have always reveled in the natural beauty to be found here in our Great Lakes State. I just love being near the water, so any chance I get to be near a lake is a perfect opportunity for me to relax and unwind. I hope you get to know our beautiful state when you stay with us, because to know it is to love it!

I was immediately drawn by the natural beauty of the lake and its environs — not to mention the extensive outdoor activities and peaceful surroundings. Since then, I have made it a priority to spend as many summer weekends in the area as I can.

This home was conceived and built specifically to cater to large groups and families who want to escape the mad rush of daily life and spend time growing closer to one another while experiencing all the tranquility and enjoyment that "life on the lake" has to offer. We have worked to provide a balance of comfort, functionality, charm, unity, and fun throughout our home and grounds. We even designed our outdoor spaces to provide maximum opportunities for gathering together to enjoy good meals and good conversation. We sincerely hope that the breathtaking lake views from the great room and lake-facing deck will inspire and astound you as much as they do us. We love creating welcoming spaces that draw you in with their charmingly-decorated rooms designed with great care, and our greatest desire is to see you return year after year so you can continually create memorable moments with those you love.
