This home is beautiful, spacious, and so close to a great view of Lake Michigan. To get to the beach, it is a rather steep stair climb down, so if you have elderly folks, or anybody who can't' do stairs, it will be hard to access the beach but we did just fine. It is minutes away from downtown Saugatuck and not to far from Holland. This made it very convenient for us to get to wedding events in both paces. We REALLY loved this house and our whole trip to Michigan. THANK YOU!
This is an ideal location for access to the beach and everything in surrounding cities! Check-in was flawless and the kitchen was well stocked with practically everything we needed.
This home was in such a beautiful settingâŠ..near Lake Michigan, surrounded by lovely homes and near everything we wanted to do. It had plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms to accommodate our family of 14. The basketball net and scooters were perfect to entertain our group! The house is lovely with lots of amenities.
The house was simply perfect for our womens book club retreat. The house had plenty of room and was comfortable for 16 women to sleep, lounge around, and eat. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare the meals we brought, we. E erfelt we were missing anything.
Our family members gathered at this lovely home near Lake Michigan for the week. We came from 3 different states. The location is great and you can walk to the lake/beach. Itâs right off Lake Shore Drive. Close drive to Saugatuck. Having 5 1/2 bathrooms was great.
We had a wonderful stay at Lake Breeze. The house was big enough for our family of 12. We were impressed with the "toys" provided..bikes, beach toys, gobs of chairs. There was something for everyone. We rated cleanliness less than perfect because of a few issues, but they wouldn't stop us from coming back. Thank you for allowing us to stay.
The house was great for our size of 15. Close to Lake Michigan for walks. Lots of room for playing games and eating meals in. Was perfect for our weekend.
This place was a fantastic location right off Lake Shore drive - beautiful wooded property a block from Lake Michigan. We were in town for a wedding and this was a great choice for our group.
The house accommodated all of my family very well. The furniture is well warn and not very comfortable, but if you are beach goers like us, no biggy. Only the TV in the basement was working but again, we were not there to watch TV. The sunsets are gorgeous and the wildlife on our walks were amazing! It was a wonderful location!
The house was perfect for our needs. The cleaning service did a fabulous job. Great location. Host was very accommodating. Needs a bit of TLC which I bet is on the homeowners agenda. We made memories this weekend that we will treasure for a long time.
This house was wonderful for our extended family of 16 . There was plenty of space for the kids to be enjoying themselves and the adults to be able to relax and talk by the fire. The neighborhood is absolutely beautiful and the lake is only a block away. The only issue we had was with the hot tub not working. We look forward to trying to book in a warmer month.
The layout of this house and itâs location and amenities were great. We felt however, that the sheets and pillows and bath towels were all pretty worn out and shabby. The upstairs bedrooms could use a deep clean of the carpets and a refresh in linens and furniture. Overall, the size of the home and its proximity to Lake Michigan, beautiful walks, and downtown Saugatuck/Douglas beat out any of the housekeeping concerns. We hosted a 12 person yoga retreat and enjoyed the large deck and hot tub as well. Thank you for all you do!
Wonderful house , outfitted well, right off Lake Michigan
Bath soap is needed.
Refrigerator making a vibrating noise.
Light bulbs needed in some areas.
Toilet paper holder was broken in single queen room on upper level.
The location of the home is beautiful just a stoneâs throw from Lake Shore drive. The layout was great for our large family gathering and beds were comfortable. The fire pit was well stocked with wood and made for enjoyable evenings outdoors. The whole area had a natural disaster during our stay and we lost power and water for the last two nights, and the host handled it in a timely and extremely helpful way. However, so many appliances were in disrepair that it really impacted our stay. The coffee grinder was broken, the stove had multiple burners not functioning properly, the grill knobs were stripped making it extremely hard to use. Many bed sheets had stains, the towels were threadbare, and each bedroom was only furnished with two towels (despite that some rooms sleep 4-6). Finally, the cleaning crew could be more thorough. We found a retainer for teeth in one of the downstairs beds and the bedroom with the twin beds had boogers on the walls next to the bed. For the price of the home based on previous VRBO experiences in the area, we would have expected a better maintained home. We would not stay again.
Many items -- refrigerator/ice maker, stove (one burner), toaster, one burner on the grill were not working properly. Our property manager tried to get someone out to fix these items but they seemed backed up. Also the house could have been better cleaned. Sheets were changed but the comforter and blanket in most of the bedrooms were dirty and mold in showers . Also, my son found 5/6 blue pills on the floor which could have been disastrous to small children.
