This is a fantastic location and a very nice Unit. We have stayed on the island numerous times and in many different areas. By far, this is our favorite. The unit was clean and very comfortable. The only problem is the elevators. The elevators are very slow and were not working properly for most of the week. We wound up using the stairs most of the week.
I wish I had been informed about the sweeping remodel that is taking place at SeaCrest. Plumbers, Electricians, Heavy machinery, lots of debris, and very difficult to find the entrance at night when Hilton Head is already very dark. Our unit looked out over the remodel of the garden area, basically large mud holes. Not to mention-no hot tub! Otherwise, a nice vacation. Unit is clean, very walkable.
SeaCrest is where we want to be. 2408 is a really nice condo with ample amenities and updated interior. The resort is great, including close beach access, pools, and the pool bar. Parking is easy and we had no problem finding a parking spot. Sea Crest is also a walk across the street to Coligny Square where you'll have access to the grocery store, restaurants, bars, and shopping. We'll be back to SeaCrest.
We love Hilton Head and enjoy The Sea Crest location. This room was clean and spacious. The view of the ocean is nice from the living room and master bedroom. We would definitely recommend this location
We love the location and Sea Crest property! This was our 3rd time to stay at Sea Crest, and this was the nicest condo. (Although all of them have been nice!) The kitchen was the best equipped kitchen we have had!)
I love this property and all it has to offer for a family vacation. Our condo had great views and was very clean and offered amenities just as if we were home. I highly recommend Seacrest Condos!
With a four month old we were looking for a quick getaway. This was the perfect location with beach and pool access, shops, restaurants and grocery across the street and a quick drive to Sea Pines for additional entertainment. The condo is updated and had everything we needed. We would definitely rent this again, especially with young kids.
Couple of issues worth noting was elevator waits were pretty crazy.
Second issue was I purchased off the photo and the view from the patio.
There was no water in areas shown?
Not sure of the issue why.
Weâve been to Sea Crest a few times and love the location because of the proximity to Coligny and the grocery. The King bedroom in the unit was always damp due to the humidity. It didnât matter what we tried, the bedding and our belongings felt wet all week. Our dishwasher was also falling out of the cabinetry but other than that everything was as you would expect. We havenât had either of these issues in the past which is why we would likely choose a different unit in the future.
Perfect location - close to beach, shopping, dining etc.
Comfortable beds, good shower, had everything you need if you wanted to cook (we just did coffee/breakfasts but kitchen was well stocked) Beach towels and having the w/d were a plus!
I had reached out to property manager to see if we could extend our stay a day and never heard back -- it is a company not an individual...
The key code was nice so that we didn't have to keep track of a key on the beach etc.
The only heads up I would give is the numbering of the units in this property is odd... 2408 is actually on the 4th floor... not sure what the 2 is there for... we ran into a lot of people who had same issue so it wasn't just us that thought it was odd :)
Overall we would definitely stay here again!
The property was great but communication with the rental Vacation Company could be improved. Too many emails and texts, the check in process to the parking lot was confusing (luckily a friendly guest helped us find the way in and gave us the code when we arrived tired at 9 p.m.). I received two different codes which made me suspect some insecure hacking of their correspondence. Our door code was changed on our day of departure before we checked out at 10 a.m. so when we went down to get a luggage cart at 8:30, we couldn't get back in. Other than that, Sea Crest was very convenient and fun and the unit was great. Loved Pool Bar Jim's beachy ambiance and food, in spite of the noisy sand-blasting going on in one of the pools. Other guests and staff were very friendly and in vacation mode.
This was a really tough 2 weeks. My mom got locked out on the balcony of the property for 2 hours. And for days the deadbolt didn't work. Vacation Company did send out a locksmith. The deadbolt got fixed but its still very tough to lock or unlock the balcony screen door. Be careful, it might lock behind you. Regarding the deadbolt, its electronic so it really doesn't do anything. Anyone on the property with a code can get in. We had a maintenance man walk in on us while we were getting cleaned up. Vacation Company never did figure out who that was. This was in addition to the maintenance people for fire sprinklers and something else. Hard to feel relaxed when the front door could open anytime. Regarding the front door keycode, it locked us out 1.5 hours before our checkout. Fortunately I was so wary of this unit by the end of 2 weeks i was half expecting it and my mom stayed in the unit while my dad and I loaded the vehicle. I wanted one more look prior to checking out and unfortunately couldn't get back in. Absolutely make sure you have your phone on you at all times and be prepared to be locked in or out.
The outdoor hot tub is heated now but was a really slow start. We were under the impression that it would be heated at least by Mar 1 but really wasn't warm until Mar 5. We knew lagoons were under repair but weren't aware the only outdoor hot tub wouldn't be heated until Mar 5. The indoor hot tub is scalding hot and really foamy. As a hot tub owner it looks nasty.
2nd time staying at Seacrest. Cannot beat the location in relation to the beach and shops/restaurants at Coligny Plaza. Condo was comfortable and as described with all the amenities. Our only issue was the strong mildew smell in the master bedroom. Carpet looked worn and speculating that it was the source of the odor.
