Profitez de tout ce que Newport a à offrir de cette belle maison de 4 chambres et 2 1/2 salles de bain. Marchez jusqu'à tous les restaurants et boutiques le long du port sur Thames St. depuis cet emplacement fantastique du centre-ville. À quelques minutes des demeures de Bellevue Ave et à moins de 3 km de Cliff Walk et d'Eastons Beach!

Cet appartement spacieux occupe les deux derniers étages d'une maison pour deux familles et dispose de pièces ensoleillées, de sols en pin récemment rénovés, de cheminées décoratives et de détails charmants. L'étage principal a une cuisine avec de nouveaux appareils en acier inoxydable, salle à manger, salon, trois chambres généreuses et deux salles de bain complètes. Le niveau supérieur a une grande chambre de type loft avec une demi-baignoire et une laveuse / sécheuse. Au total, il y a trois lits queen et un lit double.

Une belle cour arrière clôturée avec barbecue à gaz est l'endroit idéal pour manger en plein air. Deux laissez-passer pour le stationnement dans la rue sont disponibles.

Cette maison est très joliment meublée mais nous vous demandons d'apporter vos propres draps. Couettes et oreillers sont fournis. Internet haute vitesse et télévision par câble est inclus. Great Place. Great Location.

Cute place and perfect size for the 6 of us with the 2.5 baths and large bedrooms. Location was excellent and walking distance to everything. We will be back!

IDEAL Location!

This was an ideal home base for us, my teenage daughter, and in-laws a couple weeks ago. The bedrooms were spacious and there was enough room for the five of us to spread out through the kitchen, dining room, and living room. Everything was in working order. While it would have been nice if there had been a binder with local menus and maps as I've had at other rentals, I was able to get those online and at the visitor center a couple blocks away. The yard is lovely! We didn't realize that the unit was on the second floor up a steep set of stairs, which was a bit of a challenge for my mother in law. Also, the owners took down the listing a few weeks before we stayed there, which was at first alarming. I would have liked to be able to refer to the list of amenities and photos in the listing, but they quickly answered all messages. The location cannot be beat - all the eateries and shops of both Thames Street and Broadway were within a 5-10 minute walk. Plus, the trolley to the mansions was just two blocks away, and I even walked to them one day.

Relax in a historic home in Newport

This house was perfect for 4 life long girlfriends who were looking for a relaxing property where we all have our own bedrooms & plenty of bathroom space. Kitchen was adequate for our needs, and when the coffee maker broke, the owners changed it out immediately. The location was perfect! Easy 10-15 minute walk to the downtown Wharf area or to Bellevue Avenue. Comfortable beds; only wish that a linen/towel service was an option (for an extra fee). Also, for anyone having issues with steep stairs, this may not be the place for you but we didn't have any problems with the stairs & we're in our mid-50's. Overall, a real gem & it's right next to the White Horse Tavern where George Washington used to hang out! Also this property has a cool outdoor shower & very cute garden area for relaxing outside; lots of birds & squirrels. :-) Finally very nice protected parking space right beside the house. Highly recommend. David & Kris also gave us wonderful suggestions for things to do & restaurants, etc! Very nice hosts!!

Great Home Away from Home in Newport

We were very pleased with Kris's place. The apartment is spacious and was very clean, the outside garden is lovely, the location is fantastic. The upstairs loft is great for parents or for kids, depending on who is really in charge in your household. There was also a playground for the kids a short block away. The guest parking passes made getting around in Newport very easy. I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone traveling with more than a couple people.

DWalsh stay in Newport

We loved the property, we had three parking passes which was perfect for us. The two story apartment was perfect for the seven of us, location was great, AC worked excellent. The fenced in yard was great for our dog. We had everything we needed. Kris and Dave were great hosts.

nice 1760’s built home in a great location.

We had a really nice day in a clean 1760s built home. We rented the upstairs apartment with our adult children and there was plenty of room, nice amenities and very clean. Wi-Fi could use work, otherwise everything is nice and the owner was very accommodating.

Great location

This house was perfect for my family of 6. It had everything we needed as well as great property owners. I would definitely book again and hope to do so for a girls weekend. The home is bright and cheerful. Perfect location.

Close to everything in Newport

We had a great time in this darling house. There was enough room for both families and the older kids loved the loft upstairs. We could walk or bike to most anything and the house was an oasis to come home to after a busy day. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Convenient location

We have had a very nice stay. The apartment worked out wonderfully. It is in a great location for walking to Newport activities and met all our needs. We would certainly have no hesitation in a return visit or recommending to friends.

Perfect for a Family Getaway

Perfect set-up for a family of 6. The space was clean and the location couldn't have been better. Walking distance to Thames and the Viking Hotel which we needed to access for a wedding. The backyard was great to have to hang out in and it was so convenient to have 2 parking spaces. Dave and Kris were very prompt at responding to questions and accommodated our request for an early check in. Definitely would recommend this place if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Newport!

Fabulous house, great location!

Our family of five stayed at this home for a week and it was the perfect spot for so many reasons. Conveniently located within walking distance of Thames Street and more eclectic Broadway, this home is close to restaurants, shops, historical sites, and the water. Also a short drive to the Mansion District and other Newport attractions. The home itself was immaculately clean when we arrived, had every amenity we needed, and is nicely decorated. The backyard is the perfect setting for an outdoor meal and big enough for kids to play safely as it is fully fenced in. The owners were responsive whenever we had a question, but we rarely had to contact them because everything was functioning and easy to find. We can’t wait to visit again and highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Newport.

Excellent Stay in Newport!!

Went to Newport for a family wedding with my family of 6. The location of this property to the Newport Marriott and the downtown area was excellent! We were very happy with the accommodations, instead of squeezing all of us in 2 hotel rooms for 5 nights we were able to spread out in our own bedrooms. The 2 full baths & 1/2 bath on 3rd level were awesome plus as well. The unit was well kept and clean. Very quaint backyard area to sit out and relax as we had beautiful weather as well. Was nice to also have parking for 3 cars during our stay. Only drawback (really not for us) were the steep steps up to apartment. We will definitely look you up for our next stay in Newport! Thanks

Stylish home in superb location!

Our family of five had a fantastic time staying in this house in Newport. Great living space, spacious bedrooms, stylish decor, and great communication with the owners who quickly responded to any queries. A key advantage of this property is the location - just a 5 min walk to the shops and restaurants at the wharf. All in all we had a great stay at this property and would have no hesitation in recommending it. First class is all aspects!

Good location.

The property was as described. The location was great: within short walking distance to restaurants, shopping and the harbor. The downside to the property was the stairs. They are steep and narrow. Hauling 50lb. suitcases can prove to be difficult for some. We loved Newport and hope to visit this great place again.

Great MDW stay in Newport

We were two families of four and had a great time staying here. Perfect location so we could walk to restaurants and the wharfs. It's also a short drive to the mansions, beaches, and cliff walk. The hosts were great and communicated with us the whole weekend. This is a great stay for families or a group of friends looking to be close to downtown. We come to Newport every Memorial Day Weekend and absolutely plan on reaching out to stay here again next year!
