À propos de cet hébergement

Charmant deux chambres près du centre-ville de Newport et des plages! Le condo est situé au troisième étage d'un immeuble historique (sans ascenseur). Une fois à l'intérieur, il a deux niveaux reliés par un escalier en colimaçon. Le condo a deux chambres et 1. 5 salles de bain. Entièrement meublé, avec appareils électroménagers. Il y a des climatiseurs dans chaque chambre pour les chauds mois d'été! Une buanderie est également disponible sur place, et il y a même une place pour une voiture pour le stationnement hors rue! Vous pouvez facilement rejoindre à pied tous les restaurants et le front de mer historique. Il y a un canapé futon supplémentaire qui se transforme en lit double pour accueillir plus d'invités si nécessaire.

New England charm

I was in town for a wedding and this accommodation was perfect. Location is very convenient to the main town and attractions. The host was super communicative and made my stay very enjoyable. A great option if you’re looking for something more affordable and spacious than a hotel room.

Perfect Little Condo in Newport

This condo was an excellent stay! The condo looked much bigger than the pictures. The place had a lot of local character and slept 4 very comfortably. The apartment is within walking distance to Washington / Thames st. Would love to stay again!

Wonderful Newport Weekend

We had a great time. The apartment was conveinently located to all of our favorite spots in Newport. Just a 5 minute walk to the harbor. Great coffee place around the corner. Would definitely rent the place again.

Beautiful Weekend on Top of the Hill

The property is perfect, close to downtown and up town. Within walking distance of a lot of attactions, resturants and a great coffee spot just down around the corner. The property is very cozy and clean and has all the right amenities. We had a great time. Thank you!

Newport visit

We were visiting family in Newport and needed a place to stay so I picked this condo and could not have been happier! It was a 15 minute walk to downtown Newport and close to many restaurants, grocery store and Dunkin! It had everything you could possibly want or need. My only regret is that we didn’t get to spend more time in the condo!

Wonderful stay!

Our group of 3 stayed for 2 nights. We visited Newport to run the Newport half marathon. The apartment was so much nicer than we expected. Communication with the owners was great and we had no problems with parking or arriving at the unit. The apartment itself was very cute and had everything we needed. A cozy living room, a kitchen that was stocked with everything we needed (mainly coffee for our early morning before our run). We loved that it had a full bath downstairs and a half bath upstairs. Air conditioners through the entire unit kept us cool at night. We also loved that the unit had towels, blankets and toiletries, in case we forgot anything. We loved the decor of the unit and the beds were comfy and we all had tons of space. It was an easy walk to Easton beach (starting line) and an easy walk to bars/restaurants on Thames Street. I would highly recommend this rental and would love to stay here again! Also the owners seem like great people and made sure we had no problems with the unit. Thanks for a great stay!

Owner confuses historic with horid

You do not get a good first impression upon arriving at this condo. The carpet going up the stairs is filthy. When you get to the apartment it is immediately apparent that this unit has lacked attention for quite some time. It is moldy and hot when you arrive and you have to run the air conditioner for hours before the smell disappears. . From the claw foot bath tub which is stained beyond repair to the bath mat that was filthy. You have the feeling that this apartment has been neglected for years and it is only rented out to generate income and none of the money is put back into maintenance and repairs. The owner is difficult to deal with, and while some effort was made to appease us (The brought us a new bath mat and more ant traps). Yes, I said ants and they were everywhere. The owner said not to worry because they were only sugar ants. maybe she should consider listing them under the amenities section. Do not expect to get any relief from VBRO. The owner called them to complain about our complaints to her, and of course all of our complaints were disregarded. I asked to have my complaint escalated on August 12th. Today August 31st I still have not heard back. It is really a shame because with just a little attention it could be a really nice duplex apartment. Please be careful that anything that you touch in this apartment is dirty, and likely will break. The seats at the kitchen table are broken. The shower rod comes out of the wall. Do not forget the ants. The owners response to every complaint is that the property is listed as historic. I expected historic to mean charming. The owner apparently has a different definition. Historic does not make you expect ants in the apartment. Historic doesn't make you anticipate a moldy smell, or a stained bathtub. You can pay to have the tub re lined. Essentially the conditions are horrible, and you should not spend your vacation dreading coming back to a place you spent money on. As soon as we saw the place we went to stop and shop to be paper goods and plastic utensils. We were afraid to use anything in the place.

Can't beat the location

It was so nice to find a reasonably priced place to stay so close to Thames Street and Bowen's Wharf. We parked our car and walked to shops and restaurants. The apartment was comfortable and nicely laid out.

Everything we hoped for and more!

The property was located off of Bellevue Avenue near The Hotel Viking. Close to everything including wine store, grocery stores etc. Short drive to picturesque Ocean Drive and Castle Hill Inn and the mansions. Short walk to Tennis Hall of Fame. Darcy was extremely helpful and communicative. Had the absolute **best time and look forward to staying again for longer in the future! FIVE STARS *****

Always a nice visit!

This is the fourth time my sister and I stayed in this condo. It is our go-to place to stay when we visit Newport. It is quiet, comfortable and feels like home. We never have a problem parking and Darci is great at checking in with us. We can’t wait to visit again.

Perfect location

My family and I had an amazing stay at this property! It was extremely clean, check in and out were extremely easy, and the location was perfect. We were able to walk anywhere we wanted to go, and parking at the property was very easy as well. Would definitely recommend!

We loved our stay at this charming apt in Newport. It was the perfect place for our weekend getaway. A short walk to the harbor and all the shops and restaurants there and a short drive to the beach or the Newport mansions. Owners were super responsive to questions and had the place nicely accommodated with everything we could need. We would definitely stay here again!!

Convenient location

Incredible value!

Ive stayed in many places in Newport and was skeptical when I found this property listed with such an inexpensive nightly rate - but the minute we opened the door we were thrilled with what we found. Clean, spacious, lots of seating upstairs and down, comfortable beds, AC worked great even on our 95 degree check in day! 2 coffee makers (Keurig and auto drip), microwave, toaster, pots and pans , sheets, blankets and towels - truly everything you need. But I really loved the location -close to everything - but so quiet, with onsite parking, that we never used because we always found a spot on the street - very unusual in Newport! I stay in Newport frequently and will check this property’s availability every time I plan a trip. Thank you for exceeding my expectations and providing a wonderful home away from home for my Newport visit Darcy!
