La Silver House est une propriété construite sur le toit d'un immeuble moderniste
La maison est dans un emplacement privilégié dans le quartier de l'Eixample à seulement 100 mètres de la Rambla Catalunya et du Paseo de Gracia, la principale bande touristique et la ville: voici la Casa Batllo et La Pedrera.

Il dispose de 175 m2 3 chambres, 1ère avec 1 lit double. 2ème avec 3 lits simples, 3ème lit 2 simples (un total de 7 lits), 2 salles de bains, un grand salon et un salon spacieux, idéal pour 7-8 personnes, avec sa salle à manger, une cuisine moderne et entièrement équipée et deux terrasses de 30 m2 et 20 m2.
Il bénéficie d'une lumière naturelle exceptionnelle, car il se trouve au dernier étage du bâtiment, et toutes les chambres et le salon ont de grandes fenêtres, et même les deux salles de bains et la cuisine ont une lucarne!
Le penthouse a tout le charme d'une maison de l'Eixample, mais avec la possibilité de profiter de ses 2 magnifiques terrasses avec vue sur le ciel de Barcelone et le soleil éclatant où vous pourrez vous détendre ... partagez avec votre famille ou vos amis un repas, un dîner, une réunion, un bain de soleil et même une sieste!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Great location and a delightful space for a family or friends.

This apartment is a beautiful three bedroom with spacious two bathrooms. Well equipped for dining in or out on the terraces.The location is perfect for sightseeing and quiet in the evening. We would highly recommend the Silver House for a week or more while visiting Barcelona.

Nice two bedroom, two bath apartment

Nice two bedroom, two bath apartment in central location. One minute walk to Girona Metro Station. 5 minutes walk to Passeges de Gracia. Clean, well appointed, outdoor patios overlooking street and rear courtyard.

Perfect base for exploring Barcelona

The Silver House is all one could ask for in a vacation rental: clean, comfortable, spacious, light and airy. The location is great- right around the corner from a delightful market and only a block from the metro. Our family of four enjoyed relaxing meals on the front terrace after long days of exploring beautiful Barcelona. We would happily return here. Thank you Ignacio and Alvaro for helping to make everything go smoothly.

Beautiful apartment, amazing location

The Silver House looks just like in the pictures. Spacious and well-appointed. I loved all the historical books in the dining room! Quiet but perfect location literally a block away from the Girona Metro station. We could walk easily to Las Ramblas, The Gothic Quarter and Aquarium . Definitely looking forward to coming back! Roomy in Central Location

Very nice, mostly quiet neighborhood. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had all necessities, except for a dish towel. Walking distance to most places; Metro line one block away. Convenience and grocery stores, bakery and coffee shops within a block. Highly recommend Egg Lab, short 10 min walk on Bruc. Only restaurant we went to twice!!

nice apartment in beatiful eixample

We really enjoyed the stay in the apartment. The location for us was perfect, many attractions are in more or less walking distance without any partying teens in front of the house. The apartment was clean and included everything we needed and is furnished tastefully. With the two roof terraces you are able to catch both morning and evening light. Also the service from the manager was uncomplicated, speaking in terms of arriving, checking out etc.

Best two bedroom ever, but it's advertised as a three bedroom.

This place was fantastic. Extremely well appointed, great location, decks, rooms, all elegant. Except the third bedroom which had no windows, no ventilation, and was right next to the building elevator shaft. If this isn't a problem for you, then you've got a very nice place, but for us, I couldn't give it 5 stars as compared to a true three bedroom unit. Also be aware of the very restrictive no cancellation policy.

This is an excellently located property, quiet and within easy walking distance of the sights.

The property is beautifully decorated, with two balconies allowing one to spend time outside even though you are on the fourth floor. At the rear of the apartment you overlook a peaceful convent garden. The living area is spacious with a good size kitchen. There are two good size bathrooms. The bunk room is not ideal, rather cramped, with only a skylight. The other two rooms are airy and big with doors onto the back balcony. The double bed is a bit too firm but of a good size. All in all, a most enjoyable place to stay and would go back. Susan.

Spacious, lovely apartment

This is a beautiful, spacious apartment. It is decorated like a home with art and care. The kitchen is modern, well equipped, and also spacious. The two balconies are large and we used them a lot as the weather was very nice in March. The bathrooms are updated and clean. The location is great. We walked everywhere from here. There also are some nice restaurants very close by and a wonderful market just down the block. Good bakeries are available within a block or two. Checking in and out was no problem. We usually used the stairs for the exercise but it was nice to have the elevator for the luggage. Great rental; good value.

Absolutely perfect!!

We have been renting apartments in different countries for over 15 years and this is among the very best. Easy communication and friendliness is a great start, and the apartment is everything advertised and more. Fabulous Eixample location, spacious (very comfortable for two couples, more than OK for three), full of light, elegantly, beautifully appointed and very well equipped. And we found it very clean. The two terraces by themselves make the apartment unique --the front one is memorable. The ample, tastefully decorated living room make you want to stay at the apartment (but make sure you spend enough time sightseeing; most of the attractions are walking distance from the apartment and the other few are a short metro ride from it). Highly, highly recommended. We will be back!!!

Beautiful Apartment in a Convient Location

I stayed at this apartment for 4 nights with my mother and my niece. The place is in a quiet and very convenient location with the subway just down the street and an awesome market around the corner. The decks on both side were amazing and the selling point for me. The view from the back is a beautiful green courtyard with a garden in the middle. You can't get to the courtyard but it's nice to look at. Be clear with the owner which beds that you plan to use as they only prepare the ones for the amount of people that you have. Although the mattress in the master is a little firm, the bedrooms are spacious and open up to the back balcony. We were able to walk from here to many famous locations and the beach is on our subway line, just 4 stops away!

Highly recommended

Very attractive apartment, cleverly designed so that there's a lot of flexibility of use. While you can be having conversation in the central area, there are plenty of other areas where you can escape to read, undisturbed. The place is immaculately clean and the beds and seating are very comfortable. In August I wouldn't rely on the room with the bunk beds, as you cannot get a through draft, but the two large rooms are very airy. While the Gothic district is medieval, it is extremely touristy and intense. The modernista neighbourhood where the Silver House is situated, feels more authentic. It is very open and leafy and the nearby Bracafe and Betlem restaurant were excellent and very friendly. The (easy to negotiate) metro is 2 minutes walk away and makes getting around Barcelona in the heat of summer very easy. Ignacio and Paola were friendly and helpful.

Conveniently located well maintained apartment

This property was very clean and had great views from both decks. It is located within walking distance of many sites such as La Sagrada Familia and within a block of the metro station. The third bedroom was somewhat small and had no closet space or drawers. (The bunk bed was blocking the closet). It was okay for one adult. The mattress in the master bedroom was uncomfortable. The washer/dryer was difficult to figure out how to operate. Some instructions would be helpful. We would recommend including a starter supply of pods for the espresso maker so renters would know what kind to buy. There is a parking garage about a block from the apartment. The cost for 4 nights was 133€. This apartment was comfortable for 4 adults and very quiet.

Great location!

My husband and I stayed at this apartment for 3 weeks. The location is perfect for walking to restaurants, markets, some beautiful parks and shopping. The best part if the apartment was the kitchen. The appliances were clean and modern and all worked well. It had everything we needed to cook meals. The apartment itself definitely needs some upkeep. The sofas which are supposed to be white are dirty looking. The throw cover and pillows on the sofa smelled so badly, that we wouldn't sit there. The comforter in the bedroom was stained and smelly. The one blanket in the closet smelled of many uses as well. I did wash the one comforter I found in another bedroom so we could use it instead of the one in the main bedroom. The bed had one thin sheet on a very thin mattress. No extra sheets or towels. We were given 2 old, thin towels for the 2 of us. Wouldn't have been a problem had the washer/dryer worked the last half of our stay. It did get replaced the day before we left. By then, we had already taken our clothes to a laundry service twice. The toilet in the gold bathroom broke 3 times. Several days before it would get fixed each time. So just be aware, this apartment does not look like the photos. For the price we paid, we expected cleaner more modern conditions.

Outstanding location and very quiet!

We had a great experience with this property. Many pros and very few cons. first the pros! Location! The apartment is located very close to a metro stop (Girona) as well as a short walk to the major shopping districts. There is also a supermarket just around the corner which is very nice. There are a couple of great restaurants and coffee shops just a few steps away. Quiet! Being on the top floor and having the two bedrooms located away from the street and by the quiet courtyard was great. In addition, the electric metal blinds that we lowered each night blocked out any other noise. Ignacio! This dude is incredibly nice. Make sure you have 500 euros in cash for the deposit when you get to the apartment. He met us upon our departure and gave us the cash back with no issues. The Flat! The property is very clean and well maintained. Both showers and bathrooms are very big by european standards. The decks are very nice and spacious. The deck off the bedrooms is excellent in the AM and the deck out the front by the street is great for the afternoon. The Con... No real cons but the beds are a bit hard. This is more of a Europe thing that an individual thing. Just be prepared. I think we folks in the US are used to big fluffy beds and that just isn't the case over the pond. Overall, we would stay here again. Cheers!!

Terrific apartment, great location

I usually don't bother with review requests that we are bombarded with, but I think it is so helpful when figuring out where to stay. Having read through the other reviews, I don't think there is much to add except to say that we had a great stay in Barcelona and the apartment itself was a big factor. We were three people, two a married couple, and so we had plenty of room. The kitchen and baths had all the necessary appointments, although we did little eating there. The location of the apartment is excellent and the furnishings were very nice. Many of the sites we were interested in seeing were within walking distance, and we also used the Metro system extensively. It is easy to use (ticket machines allow you to choose a language) and the maps are very straight-forward. I do want to respond to the prior guest who questioned the security deposit and extra fee for late checkin. The expectation of a security deposit was made clear at the time we booked the apartment so there was no surprise. We too arrived late due to a missed train, and we were charged 50 euros. I don't think that was unwarranted, especially at 23:00. We did not have any problems with the security deposit which we paid, and then had returned the evening before we left. I think that an owner can run into all sorts of bad tenants and he needs to protect himself. All in all, it was a great apartment in a great city!

Wonderful experience in the heart of barcelona

We stayed here for almost two weeks. We had a wonderful stay, Ignacio and Ksenia were patient with us when we were late checking into the venue. He was also extremely patient with us checking out when our friend was in the hospital and we were a few hours late. The apartment was clean, with plenty of fans for the hot summer, most cleaning and other supplies that were needed, as well as towels, etc. A few things to note for people that are very particular and high maintenance about their needs: the kids room is indeed quite small and can be very hot in the summer and which means this apartment may not be good for more than 4 adults. We moved the mattresses out into the other rooms and it was fine for us. One other thing that should be noted is that most of the closets are blocked off and there isn’t a lot of room for storage of luggage for long term stays. Although it was summer, there was a need for light blankets which we were unable to find either, they were potentially inside one of the blocked closets. That being said, all of the above things are fixable and not a big deal by anyone who is resourceful: the apartment has the best location near plenty of grocery stores, near a home goods store, and near a train station that will take you to a department store in 5 minutes. Getting an extra blanket or pillow or any other home goods was only a few euros. We had an amazing time and would stay here again in the future. Thank you for sharing your home with us Ignacio!

Read the contract !!

We got a contract before arriving there which said: .... If in the course of stay in the apartment a problem arises, the tenant must notify the property so that it solves this in a maximum of 48 hours. If the tenant does not give notice to the landlord, the tenant may not claim any compensation, nor may write any negative comment the apartment in any of the internet sites where it is published. On arrival in the afternoon we didnt have heating or warm water, no fix of the problem late night, so we left the apartment first night after 3 calls to the company and 3 messages in this system. The message in the night then finally was: Dear *** Sorry for answering late *** What pressure does the boiler have? It's weird because it worked properly this morning. I do not understand that you leave the apartment without the possibility of us verifying what you say. Tomorrow morning we talk. Great Location

We had a great stay in Silver House. It was very convenient to several great locations and some awesome nearby restaurants and markets. Residence was clean and as advertised. The patio was fantastic for morning coffee and pastries and for some wine before heading out at night. Would DEFINITELY recommend eating at Betlem if you stay here. Fantastic food/service and right down the block. Ignacio was reachable and helpful at all times despite some initial travel issues that delayed check in. Great trip to Barcelona!

Lovely well-located apartment

On the sixth floor of a building typical of the eixample area of Barcelona, this apartment has balconies on the front overlooking the street and the back overlooking a garden. It is well furnished with plenty of dishes, glassware and cooking utensils. The towels were fluffy and there was always plenty of hot water and good water pressure. It was very comfortable for four adults and we loved the market with food stalls just around the corner. We were able to walk to the Barri Gotic, Plaça de Catalunya , the Sagrada Familia and there were plenty of cafes nearby. We would definitely make this our home any time we were in Barcelona.

A 2 Bedroom with a Another bedroom/closet

The 3rd bedroom is 7 x 8, It’s obvious it was a converted closet with no windows. The apartment is well decorated but lacks a/c in the bedrooms and that makes for not so pleasant sleeping. The front room has A/C but struggles to keep it cool. There was only 1 roll of toilet paper, one roll of paper towel, no soap so the first stop was to the store to pick up essentials. I found the owner unprofessional. I was traveling and opened my email and had 5 emails from him asking what time I arrived at airport. I told him that One of the other couples was arriving before me but he ignored that and only wanted to know what time my flight came in. I told him several times I was arriving late in evening and as soon as I received an email from my friend I’d let him know. He was just kind of rude and told my “ I was wasting his time”. My wife and I had a VRBO home until last year and would never think to speak to someone like that. Given we operated a VRBO I would want to give owner a great review but given the lack of proper cooling, lack of basic supplies no wine glasses in wine country no food storage bowls and lack of anything but a but a half filled bottle of olive oil and salt and the way he treated me results in this HONEST review. The balcony’s were cool and had in elevator ( it was broken the first day) that’s a bunch if stairs to climb.

At The Silver House is a way to enjoy a stay in a house on the roof of a typical Barcelona's Eixample Modernist building. For being a fantastic penthouse with 2 nice terraces of 30 m2 and 20 m2.
It has all the charm of a house Eixample but with the opportunity to enjoy its 2 magnificent terraces watching the Barcelona sky and bright sun where you can relax ... sharing with your family or friends a meal ,dinner , gathering, sunbathing and even a nap !
All rooms are exterior with large windows , including 2 bathrooms and kitchen have natural light each have a skylight , make that the entire house is very bright and pleasant.
