Our 3-night stay was great! We loved the convenience of easily walking to many locations in Estes Park. The neighborhood was quiet and the fenced in back yard was a hit with our dogs and we loved that convenience as well. The house was extremely clean and very much as described in the listing. We saw an elk walking through the neighborhood on the second day of our stay!
We enjoyed our stay in Estes Park. This property really fit the bill for us. It was well-appointed and in a great location near downtown. The fenced yard was an added perk for our dog! And we enjoyed the hot tub in the cool mountain air. Would definitely stay there again!
We were looking for a nice and quiet break from life and it was perfect, even had a doe and fawn come visit us on our last night, also a elk was a couple houses away
No more Hotels EVER! To stay in a Home with many amenities and a Hot Tub and a Fireplace! Felt like Home for week and all you needed was your clothes and food! Beautiful Property, We Will Be Back!
Our family (and our golden retriever) had a great long weekend trip to Estes Park. The house was very convenient and perfect for taking our dog along with us. Hosts were excellent to work and responded very quickly to all inquiries. We would gladly stay here again in any future to the area.
Really great location & communication with host was responsive. BUTâŠit was about 80 degrees in Estes when we arrived, and the house was VERY hot, especially in the upstairs where the bedrooms are. The thermostat was set at like 50, but no air ever kicked on, and when I asked the host, they said it was just warm outside & to open windows. Only one window opened upstairs, the host offered to come look at the windows, but none had screens so we wouldnât want the others opened anyway. The ceiling fan in one room was terribly noisy. First two nights were so hot it was kind of miserable & hard to sleep.
Great location to river walk and free parking garage. Be aware that the house is located on a hill and can be challenging to walk up. I would not describe the house as modern but it accommodated our needs. Backyard was not maintained. I did not expect a grassy lawn but the three foot weeds were an eye sore. No
We had a relaxing stay here. Close to downtown, Estes Lake to walk our dog & the National Park.
Nice quiet neighborhood. It would be nice to have grass or artificial grass for the dogs to have an area to go potty. Our little one had to have the dirt/mud washed off her paws everytime we took her out so she wouldn't get the floors dirty. Bit inconvenient.
The beds are comfortable, but the chairs in the living room are small for anyone over 5'8. We enjoyed the hottub every evening after a long day in the Rockies.
Overall, a nice place to stay for the price.
The property was perfect for a summer vacation in Estes Park. The home was just as beautiful as the surrounding area! The property manager was quick with responses and my family wanted for nothing... other than a timeframe of when we would return. Very much recommend to anyone wanting to destress and remove themselves from the toils of everyday life. Gave us a moment to breath and take in all the beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains. The elk in front yard was a huge plus for my daughter. Thanks for the perfect place to stay.
I have to admit I was surprised at the size/space inside this rental. The square feet listed had me a little worried my family + 2 dogs would be crammed in here. But we werenât! The pictures in the vbro listing donât do the size justice! Both bedrooms are large with large windows to let in that crisp mountain air. The window cranks are old and stripped, but I managed to finagle them all open at night. There is no air conditioning, but we did not have any issues and we stayed in mid to late June. In fact my mother kept commenting on how nice and cool the place stayed. Both bedrooms have comfortable king beds! There is a pull out futon in the living room if you need the extra sleep space.
Our dogs had a blast playing in the fenced back yard! The fence is only about 4 feet so if you have a jumper be aware of this.
We saw herds of elk every day come through the yard and near the property. Itâs in a neighborhood, on the side of steep the hill/street, yet there are many elk and deer all around.
The house is older and could use a makeover, but it gets the job done. If your looking for one of those luxury rentals with 360 Mountain Viewâs from the living room, this is not that, but it is close to downtown, the dog park, and hospital.
The kitchen was well stocked snd there were some leftover pantry items from other guests. The fridge took about 24 hours to get to temp, but once it did it worked great!
Overall Iâd recommend this rental.
Les points faibles : Emplacement et exactitude de lâannonce
I claim full responsibility
After days of traveling across flat, featureless country, I was very excited to reach the Rockies. Getting to the house to find our view in one direction is the neighbor's roof put a damper on my vacation. From the back we had a view of outbuildings and the stuff piled up behind the outbuilding of someone behind us.
I accept full responsibility for not inquiring about the view, but I was shocked and dismayed that Estes Park had development with houses packed this closely together. This would make a good full-time rental, I suppose, but it falls woefully short of a "Rocky Mountain experience."
Very convenient to downtown. Great mountain views from the front porch. Elk in the backyard in the early mornings. The hot tub was great. My only negative is that the downstairs stays nice and cold, but the upstairs where the bedrooms are, doesn't seem to get very cold, even with the ceiling fans on.
The pictures do not give this house justice. It is just adorable inside. Very comfortable, quiet neighborhood, only a couple minutes drive to downtown.
The hot tub was filthy and we were not able to get into it, very poorly maintained. The backyard was also very poorly maintained and didn't look like it had been cleaned up in quite a while. We were also disappointed that no coffee was provided even though there was a coffee maker and many, many filters. We hadn't planned on having to go shopping for coffee, we assumed this would be included. There were also no screens on the majority of the windows in the house, so we were unable to open them. This would have been nice as it was very warm the weekend we stayed. Finally, the fact that we were asked to do a load of laundry after we paid a hefty price to stay there and a cleaning fee was completely ridiculous! Do you not have cleaning people that come in to do this???? We did dump our own trash and did wash the dishes as requested. We just think that if you are going to charge the amount you do, then the property should be much better maintained and stocked with more basic necessities such as coffee. Thank you.
