Nestled on the edge of the charming, rustic village of Neo Chorio, this large detached villa & private pool is in a truly picturesque and tranquil location-with panoramic sea views and mountain vistas & set amidst a garden blooming with local flora, fragrant herbs, olive & fruit trees.

Fully equipped for a relaxing holiday home from home. The villa benefits from eco-solar powered electricity and, what's also unique, the villa is 'upside down' with the bedrooms on the lower floor and the living areas on the upper - the views are stunning whether you are upstairs on the balcony or downstairs on the terrace by the pool.

The open plan lounge and dining room is very spacious, light and airy with a fabulous large terrace balcony over-looking the private pool, garden, the sea and Akamas bay and hillside. Seating for 6. Wi-Fi, SMART TV with international channels.

Large kitchen is attractively fitted with granite work tops and top of the range chrome appliances. Excellent choice of equipment & utensils. Bathrooms have power showers.

3 Bedrooms are bright and cheerful: 1 x king size with large en-suite bath and shower; 2 x large twins. 2 bedrooms lead onto the pool, terrace and garden. Bedroom 3 overlooks fruit trees.

Outdoors there's everything you need to relax Cyprus style. Stunning views surround the inviting 8m by 4m private pool enclosed by a pretty garden and terrace. Sunbeds and outdoor dining for 6 persons. Large stone BBQ with sink and outdoor bar where once again you can sit and relax and take in that fabulous sea, bay and mountain view!

Most excellent

I booked this villa for my parents to stay in after a much needed holiday. The process from initial enquiry until they left was excellent. Any questions I had were answered by Jacqui straight away and in a very helpful manner. My parents really enjoyed their stay. They loved the villa, views and local area. They enjoyed using the pool every day. I am so glad I found this place for them to stay as it was lovely and one of those places you wouldn't hesitate to book again. They hired a car from a company that Jacqui recommended and this was also an easy process without any problems. I have nothing but positive things to say about this villa and Jacqui so would highly recommend to book the Olive House.

Lovely view

Housr is in a good position for exploring the local area with a 5 to 10 min walk into the local village, which is v quaint. Fabulous views fr upstairs balcony of sea & mountains. The house was v clean; however we found the downstairs bedroom wardrobes to have a damp feel & smell and felt the photos of the house was taken quite a while ago. The kitchen and utensils & cookware are v good. We had a lovely welcome pack that was v much appreciated. Nice big fridge freezer. Kitchen was a nice bright room. Nice clean pool just v cold as it is quite a shaded area with the trees & house. I am certain this will be a blessing in the height of the season. It just felt you chased the sun round the pool even when it was out. The gardens are lovely and well maintained with an abundance of colour over the car port. We had fabulous views of a thunderstorm from the upstairs balcony, which was v clean and had a lovely dining table & chairs...great sitting out there in the evening. V good communication from the owners. House is in a great area for exploring

Fabulous holiday

We have just come back from 3 weeks holiday at this amazing villa. . Where do I start From the unbelievable views and vista To the superb pool and the fantastic villa . It was exceptionally hot (mini heatwave 40+) I love the high temperatures so we spent a lot of time relaxing by the pool all day ,why wouldn't you when you have it to yourself all day and the peace was wonderful. It was very hard to find energy to go out some days and leave the wonderful villa. The villa was spotless and a great size with plenty of space. There is everything you could possibly need The villa is situated in a peaceful location near Neo Chorio a small village with a couple of restaurants.coffee bars and a basic shop , only a 5 min drive from Latchi where you will find plenty of shops ,bars and restaurents all set around a lovely harbour. 5 mins further you are in Polis where there are more bigger supermarkets and shops,bars and restaurants. You do need a car with the villa location ,we used Petrides who were excellent .no hidden charges or credit cards and so friendly . There is also a taxi company in Latchi you can use. Property managers Garry & Anne were very helpful and welcoming .we had a lovely welcome pack for when we arrived which was great. With Covid we had to change our booking and the owners Jacqui & David were so helpful and kept in contact . This was really appreciated . All in all we had a perfect holiday and if you are unsure where to go and do not want the Aya Napa chaos this quiet location within easy reach of restaurants and shops is perfect. We will definitely be back . Thank you Jacqui and David

My wife and I and our young son spent a very, very happy fortnight at The Olive House. The villa was very clean, spacious and tastefully presented throughout. The good-sized pool was secluded (in part by the eponymous olive tree) and the sea-views from the balcony were breathtaking. Jacqui and David were lovely hosts, and Anne and Garry very helpful property managers. We would highly recommend The Olive House for couples and families, without hesitation.

Wonderful villa.

We had such a lovely week, villa is soooo quiet yet only a five minute drive to the sea and restaurant. Cute tavern within walking distance too. Such a comfy spacious villa, probably the nicest we have stayed in. To be honest we didn't leave the area as it was so nice. We hired a boat which was brilliant. Even the teens were happy as the WiFi and mobile signal were brilliant 🤣. Thank you!

Peaceful location with lovely views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Olive House with our daughter, son-in-law and our 2 year old grandson. We made full use of the pool during our two week stay and also got out and about exploring the area. The villa was clean, spacious and well equipped, there are a couple of local tavernas and a small supermarket in the village of Neo Chorio within a 5-10 minute walk from the villa. A car is essential for accessing the beaches in nearby Latchi and the bigger supermarket in Polis. The Baths of Aphrodite are well worth a visit and we had the best meal of the holiday at the restaurant there. There are plenty of eating places to choose from in Latchi and prices were reasonable. On our last night we went to Santa Barbara Restaurant on the road to Pomos to view the sun setting over the sea and we were not disappointed it was a magical end to a lovely holiday.

Lovely place to stay in Cyprus!

We were looking for a nice place to relax, unwind and soak in the sun and have found just that in The Olive House in Neo Chorio! The house is perfect to spend a week (or more!) with family or friends. Everything you need is there and the views are great! Jacqui is very helpful and kind and so is the local team, Anne and Gary. Upon arrival, the house was spotless and the welcome pack was great! Thank you for that! We can certainly recommend hiring a boat for the day to explore the coastline and go snorkeling in the beautiful Blue Lagoon. Renting a quad and touring the Akamas peninsula is also great but maybe not for the fainthearted;-) . Polis is good for shopping and nearby Latchi offers some good seafood restaurants.

Wonderful stay at Olive House

We stayed at Olive House for 10 days and had the perfect holiday. The house was large enough for us to spread out, read, swim, have friends over and to just sit and look at the view. We loved Neo Chorio, the restaurants and food store. Jacqui did everything to make our stay perfect. She gave us excellent directions to help us find Olive House so we arrived relaxed and ready to start our holiday. The welcome pack of goodies was thoughtfully chosen and the information booklet gave us some great ideas about some lovely places to visit. Thank you

Noisy dusty roadworks spoiled the experience

We were bitterly disappointed to find the villa was surrounded by roadworks. Hydraulic drills woke us at 7.30 each morning and the dust and noise made lazy days by the pool impossible. The villa seemed in need of an upgrade. We paid for airconditioning in the living space but only one of the units worked and August was very hot in Cyprus. The fly screens in the bedroom had holes and the French doors to the balcony didn't have any fly screens. Doors were difficult to open, the settees and beds were uncomfortable; the villa was not at all as we expected. The website photos are much better than the reality. We love Cyprus, but this time we weren't sad to be going home.

We cannot recommend Olive House highly enough

We loved Olive House for so many reasons: The view from the balcony was amazing, both in the morning as we sat and had breakfast watching the boats on the sea and in the evening with a chilled glass of wine looking at the lights along the bay. It was so peaceful and private. We never tired of it and will remember it fondly. The pool was wonderful, warm and clean, and we used it every day. It had just enough shade at either end of the day for us not to worry about the kids getting too much sun. The villa was clean, spacious and had all the facilities we needed, especially the BBQ. There were great restaurants within walking distance when we didn't want to get the car out and plenty of choice for others just a short drive away in Latchi and Polis. We felt extremely well looked after by Andrea and her family who welcomed us, gave us so many good recommendations and were always on hand to help in any way they could. All in all we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Olive House to anybody and would love to return one day.

Beautiful Villa

Villa Olive is a well appointed villa, spotlessly clean and in the most beautiful position, the views from the balcony are breathtaking! We stayed in March and although unable to use the pool as still chilly we were able to relax In the garden in glorious sunshine. Neo Chorio is a lovely little village and Smiyies Tavern is minutes walk away for a great meal.

Fantastic!

This is a fabulous property fitted out to a high standard. The view across the bay is stunning! The welcome pack was great for a late arrival and loads of useful information from Andrea the next morning once we had settled in and had a good nights sleep. Already booked to return and looking forward to Symyers restaurant and the village shop, lots of fond memories! Would definitely recommend this villa.

Fabulous villa in a beautiful traditional village

From the minute we booked this property we had a good feeling about it and we certainly weren't disappointed. Jacqui the owner was extremely helpful during the booking process. Upon arrival (early hours of the morning), it was so lovely to have a welcome pack of food supplies including the beautiful lemon cake! Andrea who looks after the villa arrived the next morning and she too was really friendly and helpful. The villa itself was lovely - spacious, clean and tastefully done up. Our favourite activity was hiring a speedboat from George's Watersports in Latchi - so much so we did it twice!! Our holiday was finished off perfectly by us being able to have a late check out. I would definitely recommend this property - you won't be disappointed!!

Tranquil, gorgeous views, in amazing villa

If you like peace and quiet - this is the place to be. We cooled ourselves in the gorgeous pool at the end of each day, and in the evenings we sat on the terrace watching the sun go down over the mountains, and then waited for the spectacular stars to appear. This is our third visit to the Olive House (in fact the second in six weeks due to some good fortune). We're already planning a visit next year. It's a well equipped villa in a lovely quiet village, with the most amazing views of the sea. If you like history, there is an abundance of archaeology and museums within easy reach, and a drive to the Troodos Mountains is a must. Right on your doorstep is the Akamas National Park - we can recommend a walk to the Blue Lagoon along the coast. Quite challenging in the heat of the day, but well worth the effort. You see a lot more walking than you would on a quad bike! Lots of restaurants in Latchi and Polis if you want to go a bit further afield than Neo Chorrio. Thanks to Jacqui and David (the owners) for their personal involvement. Looking forward to booking for next year.

Idyllic

Idyllic stay at the Olive House. Location, the layout and facilities at the villa were as described in the booking information and certainly did not disappoint. Everything we needed was provided for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Rooms were clean and well maintained with a lovely relaxing upper terrace to take in the view and the outside pool area for soaking up the lovely Cyprus sunshine. Would highly recommend and will definitely be booking a return visit.

A great holiday at a superb house

We loved staying at The Olive House. It was well equipped for our needs with all mod cons. The house was very well maintained, clean and tidy. Despite being early in the year when we visited we had great weather and were able to use the garden for sunbathing, and even had a dip in the pool which was very invigorating! We will definitely be visiting again.

Perfect, Peaceful Escape

The Olive House is located on the outer edge of a village called Neo Chorio which is on the Akamas Peninsula (the North West tip of the island). We drove from Paphos airport in the dark but managed to navigate with no problems using the excellent directions provided by the owners. Upon arrival we were very impressed with the freshness and cleanliness of the villa which was spotless throughout. A welcome pack was provided which had some essentials plus a few tasty treats! The villa is large, light and airy with crisp modern decor and a well-equipped modern kitchen. The villa has the bedrooms downstairs which help to keep cooler a night without needing the air con. We were greeted the next day by Andrea of Latchi Luxury Villas. It was wonderful to have somebody with such passion and great local knowledge to give us tips and guidance and to take care of any issues during our stay. The villa is situated in the hills overlooking Chrysochou Bay and we found it to be very peaceful and quiet. The swimming pool was lovely and we used it every day. The village (walking distance) has two Restaurants which are of a more traditional style plus a small shop where you can pick up essentials. A short drive away is the port town of Latchi where there are numerous restaurants, shops, a nice beach, ATM and a lovely harbour area. It is well worth hiring a boat for a trip along the coast to the Blue Lagoon where you can snorkel the reef (we thoroughly enjoyed it despite no previous boating experience!) Overall we had a fabulous stay in this unspoiled corner of Cyprus and we would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a more peaceful holiday away from the crowds.

A little about us and and why we chose to buy The Olive House in Neo Chorio (near Polis & Latchi), Cyprus, 20 years ago....

In keeping with the romantic legend of the island, and in particular this area, we fell in love with this unique part of the world when we married locally. Following a wonderful ceremony at the Town Hall in Polis, and a magical blessing at a chapel in Latchi, we set about finding our own special haven in this romantic and stunning location. We found our haven in Neo Chorio, above the hillside overlooking Latchi and the bay of Polis, in southern Cyprus and it is with our pleasure we open our home to you to enjoy and experience this wonderful region for yourself.

We have an excellent property management team that look after the housekeeping of the villa and provide 24/7 support for our guests should they require it. We also offer a 'meet and greet' service shortly after your arrival. This is an optional service but we have had great feedback from guests who have said that it has helped to get their holiday off to a great start!
