It has what you need. It was clean, other than some stains on the couches. Tons of stairs, not good for elderly.
The two main beds are fine, others are not. Not a short walk to the beach but doable!
We really enjoyed our stay here.I am going to start with the cons: I do have to point out that the water pressure is not the best and the shower upstairs would not drain so you are standing in water when you shower. Additionally, the furniture has seen better days, the kitchen table has been wet long enough to have the seats bubble, there were stains on the couches, and the carpet is in horrible condition. This home allows pets, which my MIL brought her dog so we are thankful for that, however the house smells pretty musty and there is definitely an undertone of dog urine especially on the stairs and the upstairs carpet. Some of the tiles in the kitchen are cracked. The downstairs TV in the bunk bed room did not work and the heater stopped working in that room after one night. We had the heat turn off on us during our stay and we were freezing. The thermostat was programmed to turn down to 50 at midnight (that was awful). There is a lack of blankets to accommodate the number of people (we had 10) and with the thermostat like that more blankets were definitely needed. The front door struggles to stay closed, but it's good as long as it stays locked which is fine with us. The internet shut down every 30 minutes. We would be watching TV and would have to reconnect to the internet every 30 minutes! This was horrible so we eventually just used our Hot Spot for internet. The pros: we were able to wash our clothes (we brought our own detergent) and we used the detergent provide
Great location near the beach. Close to Depo Bay and Newport. Great dining close by. Everything you need to make yourself at home and very dog friendly.
The house was clean, warm and cozy. Very easy to access. T=It rained 24 hours non stop and we spent just indoor but had a very good time. The beds , bathroom, kitchen were all very good. We had a vegan banana bread too, to enjoy!! Had a great time. Would go there any day oops I take back not a rainy day but a Sunny day!! :)
Les points faibles : Communication, emplacement, exactitude de lâannonce
Location was not as pictured
Queen bed was missing. Shower downstairs not working first day. Picture made it look like easy walk down to the beach and it was a difficult walk. Water downstairs had low pressure so it took toilet to flush not adequetely and shower had low pressure. We were only credited 68.00 for one night when we should have got and 68.00 for the second nidht being without the queen bed.
Overall this house was nice enough. No cable tv...wish I had noticed that before booking. Not a fan of Roku, especially with no live tv. Couch was not very comfortable and had many stains. Downstairs bed was missing a caster so leaned to one side. Otherwise the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and nice little walk to beach access.
Firstly I will say this was a nice property, we enjoyed our stay a lot. The amenities such as free Netflix, TV's in all bedrooms, washer and dryer, and dog friendly.
It was a touch dirty the couches had black mildew like stains on them, the blinds in the kitchen were blasted with food particles, there was some ketchup or something on the side of the cabinets. Nothing over the top gross that made me want to leave but could use a thorough deep clean. One other thing was some of the furniture was broken up on arrival a patio chair backing was cracked so you could not lean back in it or you'd fall to the floor. The master bedframe was a bit wonky and not the most stable.
I don't mean to deter anyone from staying here as my overall experience was positive, I even extended a night, I just wanted to point out it did leave a little to be desired. Overall I'd say 4 stars.
Clean is the only good thing we can say....not Built for 10 guests. Not even enough blankets for 10, then when we called, the person I spoke with told us we could have 1 only even though 2 guests had no Blanket. No pot holders, 1 kitchen towell. One skillet looked like it came from Goodwill, the other was big enough to cook 1 egg. I scrubbed the griddle without a scratcher and the pancakes were still ruined when they came out with black residue and had to be thrown away...the foldout couches were dirty, and the bedroom automan was torn up. The 'park' was a strip of grass with 1 picnic table..yard was overgrown...no cupbord space at all for food, so food for 10 people was on the counter and floor...extremely dispiriting. The 1 positive: house keeping did a great job.
The location was good, in an area with beach access within walking distance (although it should be noted that there are a number of stairs to get from the road to the beach itself). There is also access without stairs a very short drive away with no parking issues the multiple times we went that way. It is in an area with a lot of vacation rentals so while we were there it was relatively peaceful although a couple of other rentals had noisy guests a couple nights and the sound carries pretty well.
The kitchen was large enough for multiple people to use at the same time and set up well for a group (we had 7 people total) right next to a living/dining area with a good amount of seating. The icemaker was overly sensitive, sometimes sending out ice caused by the fridge door being closed, and one stove burner (front, right) did not light. This wasn't enough to be a big problem, but something to be aware of if it isn't remedied. There were plenty of plates and flatware to use, and a number of cooking utensils/pans/small appliances.
The upstairs bedroom is a good size and has a lot of room to put clothing, etc. The downstairs bedroom with one bed appears to be a full bed that could use some work as the mattress and/or frame has damage on one side leading to a hole/sagging on that side. The other downstairs bedroom has a bunkbed that our group found pretty comfortable. The twin sofa beds were larger than expected, but were upstairs in the living room rather than the downstairs bedroom with the bunk bed.
We didn't use the outside area much, but noticed there was a nice upper deck in the back, with a front deck closer to the middle of the house. The front deck had some sort of white residue so we didn't use it much, possibly due to previous guests.
The house is dog friendly with a bowl and dog towels by the front door (which we appreciated and ended up using to clean off our sandy feet outside to keep it out of the house as we didn't have pets with us). There is previous evidence of pets as some areas had a faint odor of pet accidents that had been cleaned but lingered (bothered the sensitive ones in our group, but not the others). There was some minor damage to windowsills and blinds that appeared to be caused by previous pets. This mostly wasn't an issue as the blinds mostly still worked, but the downstairs bedroom with one bed had more blind issues, with difficulty closing/opening them, and the bunkbed room had some missing slats on the vertical blinds. The downstairs bathroom also had an issue while we were there where the toilet only accumulated enough water to flush properly once every 2-3 hours. As we notified Vacasa of the issue the first night we were there, hopefully it will be remedied for future guests.
Overall, it is a nice house in a nice area with some minor issues. It worked well for our group, but there could be more of an issue for those with more sensory concerns, such as being very sensitive to smell/sound/light.
Clean, Cute Home with easy access to the Beach !!!
Loved the home. Great master bedroom that was spacious and ironically upstairs, the kitchen was beautiful . We enjoyed staying in a bit and cooking since the weather wasn't great. Really enjoyed our stay. Everything was perfect. Very pet friendly with nice gated areas for the pups to hang with us. We got to charge our Tesla too which was great. The park close by was lovely and the access to the beach from there was very nice and private. Would absolutely come back. Thanks for a lovely time â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
This was a great little beach place for a small group with a dog.
Loved the gates decks for lounging front and back. Easy access to beaches, restaurants, and shops.
Clean and pretty well stocked with what you need.
Sleeping arrangments was not quite what the discriptions says.
There is a king. Not a queen but a double bed. And a bunkbedd in 3rd bedroom.
The couch is uncomfortable and dirty.
The pictutes of the park and getting to the beach are good tjere just not with the house.
Overall staying was ok
Great place !!! Easy access to the beach & park !!
We planned on staying there only 3 days but ended up loving the place and extending our stay by another 2 days !!! Great access to a lovely park and from there to the beach !! The home is very dog friendly too so we had our meals on the large front deck with the dogs with us. Great kitchen and great room to hang out so weâre all together and the backyard was fenced too which worked out great for us. They had a tesla charger too so that was a huge plus even though superchargers arent too far away . Cute, comfortable home , would definitely return !! Thanks for letting us build great memories !! Also the beach was quiet and peaceful where this home is , so it added to our loving the place !
Loved the house, except too many stairs. Not sure if there was a park for kids or is the name just called house with a park. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay, Thank you so much, Patty H.
My family enjoyed a beautiful weekend in this beach home in Lincoln City, and became our home away from home. Great location to parks, the beach, and the Lincoln City Kite Fest. Home was clean, inviting, and very nicely detailed in every room. All our needs were anticipated. This was our second stay and will will be returning again to our home away from home soon.
Our family absolutely loves this neighborhood it is our 3rd year of staying in a different house in this neighborhood. We are a large family from central Oregon and travel to Lincoln city every summer for our beach vacation. We can't wait to come back next year and experience a new house as it is the most exciting part of our vacation. Every house that we have stayed in so far has been an exciting experience and new adventure for our family. We will be back next summer and cannot wait :).
