The location was good, in an area with beach access within walking distance (although it should be noted that there are a number of stairs to get from the road to the beach itself). There is also access without stairs a very short drive away with no parking issues the multiple times we went that way. It is in an area with a lot of vacation rentals so while we were there it was relatively peaceful although a couple of other rentals had noisy guests a couple nights and the sound carries pretty well.
The kitchen was large enough for multiple people to use at the same time and set up well for a group (we had 7 people total) right next to a living/dining area with a good amount of seating. The icemaker was overly sensitive, sometimes sending out ice caused by the fridge door being closed, and one stove burner (front, right) did not light. This wasn't enough to be a big problem, but something to be aware of if it isn't remedied. There were plenty of plates and flatware to use, and a number of cooking utensils/pans/small appliances.
The upstairs bedroom is a good size and has a lot of room to put clothing, etc. The downstairs bedroom with one bed appears to be a full bed that could use some work as the mattress and/or frame has damage on one side leading to a hole/sagging on that side. The other downstairs bedroom has a bunkbed that our group found pretty comfortable. The twin sofa beds were larger than expected, but were upstairs in the living room rather than the downstairs bedroom with the bunk bed.
We didn't use the outside area much, but noticed there was a nice upper deck in the back, with a front deck closer to the middle of the house. The front deck had some sort of white residue so we didn't use it much, possibly due to previous guests.
The house is dog friendly with a bowl and dog towels by the front door (which we appreciated and ended up using to clean off our sandy feet outside to keep it out of the house as we didn't have pets with us). There is previous evidence of pets as some areas had a faint odor of pet accidents that had been cleaned but lingered (bothered the sensitive ones in our group, but not the others). There was some minor damage to windowsills and blinds that appeared to be caused by previous pets. This mostly wasn't an issue as the blinds mostly still worked, but the downstairs bedroom with one bed had more blind issues, with difficulty closing/opening them, and the bunkbed room had some missing slats on the vertical blinds. The downstairs bathroom also had an issue while we were there where the toilet only accumulated enough water to flush properly once every 2-3 hours. As we notified Vacasa of the issue the first night we were there, hopefully it will be remedied for future guests.
Overall, it is a nice house in a nice area with some minor issues. It worked well for our group, but there could be more of an issue for those with more sensory concerns, such as being very sensitive to smell/sound/light.
