The kitchen had everything one could need for preparing a meal. Plenty of serve ware. Beds were clean and very comfortable. The bonus of a ping pong table and a fire pit was great!
We had family come into town for a visit from Austin, TX and we needed a larger space than our home in Asheville. The Magic Mountain was a great place for all of us to comfortably spend time together. The ping pong table was fun & the Xbox definitely got use. The large kitchen was nice for cooking & spending time together. We had one afternoon of rain that was followed up by a beautiful double rainbow. We loved our stay at the Magic Mountain and would recommend it to others. :)
We chose this location due to proximity to my sonâs VRBO for their wedding. The place was fine and clean enough, but very pricey for the quality of living. Also the first floor had an odor. We would recommend for bachelorette parties and large family gatherings. The park across the street hasnât recovered from the horrible destruction from Hurricane Helene nor has the river arts district. A lot of stairs ( donât recommend for elderly. Very difficult in and out onto Main Street as well. Overall would give higher recommendation if the quality of interior was more upscale and matched the price.
We had an excellent stay here for a friend's bachelor celebration. 12 men in their mid-30s slept comfortably, and the house was an excellent fit for our needs. Great view, close to downtown/River Arts so the Ubers and Lyfts are cheap, and an incredibly accommodating host.
Can't recommend this place enough for a stay in Asheville that needs to fit a large group. It's hard to find something that fits this many people this close to town.
Great house and host. House is clean, up to date, and comfortably sleeps 12 adult men. Accessible and accommodating host. I highly recommend this place.
Property was amazing! Perfect location, surrounded by so much to do in the wonderful city of Asheville. Could not have asked for an easier place to stay between the host and the location!
Before even getting to the property, the owner, Tom, reached out to me personally to introduce himself and give us all of the information we would need. He was extremely accommodating, allowing us to check in early and the property was beautiful. It is in a great location and had plenty of space for 13 of us! We had the best time and would highly recommend!
This was the perfect place for my sisterâs bachelorette weekend! It provided the perfect balance of everything that Asheville has to offer - amazing proximity to both nature and downtown, which is exactly what we were looking for! Ubers were pretty easy to get (5-10 minute wait with a 5-15 minute ride to downtown or West Asheville). With the river path being right across the street, we enjoyed a beautiful, scenic walk to the River Arts District and utilized the many activities available along the river (kayaking, rafting, tubing, etc.). We had plenty of space for everyone to hangout, play games, and eat meals together in a super chill environment! Would certainly recommend to anyone - whether a celebration or vacation with family or friends!
We were in Asheville for a reunion of old friends. The property was everything advertised and more. Completely stocked and felt like a home away from home. Convenient to all the attractions. The view is amazing.
The owner was helpful and very accommodating to our needs.
My only caveat is the parking is a little tricky for multiple cars. We had three vehicles and managed fine but it was a little daunting for us all over the age of 60.
I otherwise I highly recommend this property!
