We have never stayed at a vacation rental that had so many demands upon departing that were not in-line with condition of property.

Great view!

The house has a great view and it's a good size but some of the furniture, walls, and floor show a lot of wear and tear. I would stay here again but some of the pieces and paint need refreshed. Loved the fireplace and jacuzzi. Definitely need 4 wheel drive for the winter months as the neighborhood is hilly.

Nice option for families

This was a nice home for a family staying in Deep Creek. Overall, house was fairly clean. Some of the furniture in the house displayed wear and tear. One thing that was minor, but could be more convenient for future guests, there was no garbage can or towel hooks/racks in the bathroom attached to the bedroom with the queen bed downstairs. Location of the house was great and very convenient!

Great First Stay at Deep Creek

The house was beautiful with an amazing view of the lake and surrounding mountains! Filled with all the amenities you can ask for. Perfect size for 6 adults and three children. The hot tub and fire pit were great additions to the house at night. Would definitely stay at this house and recommend it for everyone!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was very nice but needs a bit of maintence done. The master bath tile was broken on the floor and I was worried about cutting my foot the hole visit. I had to place a towel on the floor the hole time. There are quite a few upgrades needed in this home before renting it to the public. I sent a letter to the rental company but did not hear back from them.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Mountain Majesty was a great house for our vacation with 5 adults and 2 kids. It appears to be in the process of being updated but all of it was clean and nicely appointed. The property management was very helpful and quick to respond about 2 questions we had. (FYI: No DVD player is provided) We enjoyed sitting on the deck, walking in the neighborhood, hiking at nearby parks (Deep Creek and Swallow Falls) swimming in the lake and wading in local creeks. The house location is great - close to all the amenities but very private and quiet. I recommend staying here. As with just about any rental property with 3 floors, the downstairs was cold and the loft was warm. We planned accordingly and everyone was comfortable.

The House was gorgeous & so clean upon arrival. There was SO much space & all of the beds/pullout couches were extremely comfortable. There is even a tiny bit of a view of the lake from the upper balcony. This house was also much closer to the bars, restaurants, & activities on the main road than I had thought from looking at the map! Overall, I could not have been happier with this house/Deep Creek Lodging & my only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer!

Little things missing

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at the house and the views and 2 master bedrooms are great. The down fall is the third bedroom has to share a bath that is only accessible through one of the other bedrooms. The basement was super cold even when the upstairs was hot. The house would be better if both floors had individual thermostats. The fireplace did not have any tools for the fire (fire poker). The power went out but the fuse box was in non accessible part of the house. It ended up being a area outage however we had no way to check.

Reviewer Comments: Almost everything met or exceeded our expectations… Spent most of the day at the community basketball court (one rim is in very bad shape)...then went to play soccer…then to the CARC indoor pool, which was definitely a highlight…and finally after an active day out it was very nice to soak in the hot tub. At night we played pool...some cards and then ended it with a movie. Only wished the house was bit more stocked with usual everyday needed items.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have stayed many times in the Deep Creek Lake area but I must say this home was by far the most relaxing. Mainly because of the view. I felt like our home and maybe one other home had the best view in the entire community. I spend the majority of my time out in the deck. The home was clean and the lay out was wonderful!
