Niché sur la rive sud du lac Supérieur, Jarven Hytti est une expérience de luxe. Le cadre privé offre une vue magnifique sur le lac et sa plage d'agate de sable rose. Ce n'est pas votre cabine typique des bois du nord, la maison de plage finlandaise d'inspiration architecturale est spectaculaire. Il peut accueillir confortablement 8 personnes. Et, les deux salles de bains modernes et soignées accueillent confortablement ses invités. Une cuisine moderne et entiÚrement équipée, une grande salle familiale avec une cheminée en pierre, des chambres confortables et une cheminée sur le pont ajoutent à la maison de vacances confortable et fonctionnelle. Les draps de luxe et les iris lacustres nains complÚtent un cadre de séjour vraiment merveilleux. En dehors des sentiers battus, prÚs de la région sauvage de ski de Porcupine Mountain, Jarven Hytti est le camp de base idéal pour votre aventure péninsule supérieure / lac Supérieur.

This was our second time staying and we loved it just as much. The house is so thoughtfully designed and comfortable. It is clean with all the amenities needed. We love walking along the sandy beach, meals on the deck, and enjoying fires and stargazing by the lake. The house is convenient for the Porkies, waterfalls, and other sights in the area. We were sad to leave and hope to visit again!

This place is great! Right on the water and quiet. They have everything you need. It’s super clean and decorated nicely. Very organized. You can’t beat the warm cookies waiting for us. We want to come back.

Love, love, love! Out of all the VRBO's I've stayed in, this one was my absolute favorite. From the homemade rhubarb cake, beautifully decorated and spotless house, to the amazing beach. What more can you ask for?

Everything and more!

We got a later start to our day then we had hoped for so we knew we would be arriving well after the check in time. Check in was a breeze though! We had fresh homemade blueberry crepes waiting for us in the fridge to just reheat, which was a great since we didn't have a chance to do much shopping yet. We ate them for breakfast the next morning in front of the outdoor fireplace and they were delicious! They also made some sweet potato treats for our pup that he loooved! The walk to the beach was not far away from the property and filled with flowers and trees giving off the most beautifully fresh smells. The deck and firepit were at the top of the rocks going down into the beach area breaking the area up nicely incase you didn't want to get splashed, and just hangout by the firepit. Falling asleep to the waves was a huge bonus too! This was exactly what we were looking for and more. I suggest doing any grocery shopping before you get into the area because the closest store had some pretty bad reviews and the only other close option was the dollar general. Their selection wasn't bad and came in handy. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and have already suggested the property to some friends looking for a relaxing trip.

This was such a relaxing and enjoyable setting. Our boys and dog loved being right in the lake. The home was totally stocked with everything needed, very clean, comfortable beds too! The host was amazing. They made us homemade blueberry crepes, homemade cookies, and even homemade dog treats!

Amazing stay!

Beautiful and spotless cabin with an awesome location. Really enjoyed the sound of the waves of Lake Superior, the birds in the morning, and relaxing at the beach! Internet was great, which allowed me to work remotely as needed and still enjoy the remote U.P. countryside!

Annual Three Sisters at the Big Lake trip

Wonderful accommodations. The large deck was great for morning coffee, bird watching and listening to Superior’s soothing sounds. We captured beautiful sunrise and sunset photos.

Upon arrival at our beautiful cabin we were suprised by the delicious treat of a homemade rhubarb cake and freshly made whipped cream. Also homemade treats for the dogs. We had an fantastic time combing the beach for seaglass and rocks. The cabin exceeded our expectations. It was very clean, cozy everything we needed was supplied. Campfires by the beach with smores and beautiful sunsets with family. Would recommend this cabin to everyone looking for relaxation on beautiful Lake Superior.

Amazing location

This was a great location right on Lake superior and it had a lovely walkway to the beach. The house was very comfortable and I really enjoyed the fireplace since it was colder than expected during my visit. If you’d like to walk on the beach, I would highly recommend this location.

Offseason Getaway

My partner and I planned a quick birthday celebration getaway. The property was as described and very enjoyable. We found it to be quiet but not too remote. We loved the fireplace and the cozy vibe. It’s immediately apparent a lot of care, planning and love went into the home. The proximity to the Porcupine Mountains is perfect. There are so many options for destinations for day trips as well. We loved it and hope to come back sometime soon. Highly recommend!

Would love to return!

The best of the forest and the water! Right along the shore of Lake Superior and tucked in the sounds of the wild, it’s such a convenient location with a beautiful view. The Scandinavian atmosphere and treatment is most evident, we felt truly like guests. Our Labrador had a most wonderful stay as well. We are grateful for the opportunity to bring him along. We loved it all!

Enjoyable Even In a Blizzard

It was a wonderful home to enjoy winter. Beautiful lake ice to go look at from the decks. The house was done well enough to not howl in the fierce winds. So close to the park I could ski in the mornings, come back for lunch then go right back there rested.Because I don’t snowmobile I’m glad the tracks weren’t right on the property. We saw hundreds out and about but never heard or smelled one at the house.

Snowmobiling

The stay was awesome! It wasn’t close to the trails but we ended up trailering. But this place would be awesome for the summer time there is great views, with the beach, and the water!

UP Winter Get Away

absolutely wonderful place. loved the simple wood work design, the beautiful cozy fireplace, the view, need I say more, the well appointed kitchen, lacking for nothing. the bed was firm and comfy. and location so close to the Porcupine Mts perfect in the winter for down hill skiing and cross country skiing and snow shoeing which we enjoyed
