The property was lovely and the amount of remoteness. Our two Cavalier King Charles dogs loved being able to go to the beach. We hiked 3 days in the prgies and went Bond Falls and the Black River Scenic Byeway which completely satisfied our need for the beauty of the UP. The kitchen and great room space were wonderful for preparing meals and feeling like we were in the woods. The massive windows gave the sense of being outside. We would goagain in a heartbeat.

Absolutely stunning cabin with beautiful decor and finishes. Cabin has access to a sandy beach on Lake Superior and a short drive to the Porcupine Mountains. Host was very easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend!

I can't say enough good about this property. Very clean, very beautiful, very secluded. We loved staying here. This is the nicest VRBO we have stayed in thus far. It is very quiet inside and out. We could nap during the day and not hear a thing. The sunsets were stunning.The baths were large and water was always hot. Kitchen was I would say chef level. The beds were so comfortable.You could walk the sandy beach for miles.If your looking for a wonderful place to stay, look not further. You'll love it!Thank you Jay for your hospitality and your promptness in communication. Well done, well done!!!

We loved staying at this beach house! The house is very clean and organized, and the kitchen was loaded with appliances and equipment to make nearly anything you wanted. Hot water worked great for showers and the bathrooms are modern and nice. The house itself is private and just steps from the greatest sandy beach on Lake Superior. Highly recommend for a family beach vacation or any stay where you want to unplug and listen to the waves.

Coffeemaker didn't work, only two dishwasher soaps, we tookbcare of while intown. Also leftca much needed flyswatter as our timing was perfect eith a blackfly hatch!

Clean and peaceful

I had a lovely time. The house was very nice and clean. I loved the view from the big windows through the forest to the lake, and that I could walk down to the beach or sit on the deck and listen to the waves. It would have been nice to have some curtains or shades on the windows at night - especially in the bathroom and bedroom, but other than that, everything was really great. Overall, I had a very peaceful stay here.

Beautiful Lakeside retreat

Beautiful, exceptionally clean home. As another review mentioned, the pictures do not do it justice. If you're looking for a place to enjoy God's beautiful creation this is it. Beautiful sandy beach right on Lake Superior. Enjoyed walking the beach and seeing the beautiful sunsets in the evening. Jay is a great host and very helpful. Lots of special extras! You will not be disappointed!

Cozy cabin on the lake

Perfect place to stay when exploring this part of the UP. Lots of beautiful things to see. We were able to do multiple day trips and enjoyed coming back to the warm fire!

Labor Day Long Weekend Get Away

Wonderful place to enjoy the beauty of Lake Superior, amazing views of the porcupine mts and northern lights. The house is amazing. The nights were cooler but we kept cozy with the fireplace. Very comfortable place not lacking in charm.

UP Getaway

We love this place so much! Beautiful house, and amazing private beach! Our family had a wonderful vacation. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the beach, but there is also so much to explore nearby. We visited the Porcupine Mountains and many other gorgeous hikes. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful place to stay on the shores of Lake Superior

My friends and I had an absolute blast staying here for a girls trip. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals, and there was plenty of space to inside and out to see. Would definitely love to come back! The host was very helpful too.

We stayed at this brand new property for 3 nights. It is a beautifully designed and built home with everything you need, on a wooded lot with direct access to Lake Superior (about thirty yards from the back porch). Beautiful sand beach. We had a great relaxing stay.

Gorgeous getaway

Amazing location. Loved the house. Cozy and bright. Waking up with that view from the bed was heaven. One of the best rental kitchens I've ever been in. Set up to cook and read and walk the beach and see no one else.

Beautiful Home!

We had an incredible winter getaway weekend here. The fireplace, kitchen, floor-to-ceiling windows, and location on Lake Superior were amazing. It’s off the beaten path with limited cell service, so I recommend downloading a map before driving here. We will definitely be back!

Inspirational!

We enjoyed our winter retreat. The large windows provided us with a wonderful view of the woods, the ice shoves, and Lake Superior herself. We used our days there as a time to relax, write and paint. It was perfect!

Secluded beautiful property

Very nice location on Lake Superior. We had dramatic weather. Wind and waves. The house had large windows with views on the lake. Very neat, clean, modern home.
