Old Waterfront Waterfront Home - Parfait pour les grandes familles!

Rénové !! La cuisine a été entièrement rénovée avec de nouvelles armoires, des comptoirs en granit et des planchers en bambou. Le plancher en bambou continue dans la salle familiale et la chambre au premier étage. Toutes les chambres refaites avec tous les murs en pin et les tapis neufs!
Maison au bord du lac avec 5 chambres, 2 salles de bain complètes située sur la rive sud du canal entre l'étang Old Forge et First Lake. À moins de 3 km du centre des boutiques, des restaurants d'Old Forge, du Enchanted Forest Water Safari, du Thendera and Inlet Golf Club et du Adirondack Scenic Railroad.

Le premier étage dispose d'un salon en pin noueux récemment rénové avec une cheminée à bois, de nombreuses fenêtres donnant sur le lac, une télévision par câble avec lecteur DVD et une connexion Wi-Fi. Une spacieuse cuisine entièrement meublée et un coin repas, une salle de bain complète récemment rénovée (avec baignoire) avec laveuse / sécheuse et une chambre contenant un lit pleine grandeur, complètent cet étage. A l'étage, quatre grandes chambres, 1 avec un lit king, 2 avec lits queen, une avec 2 lits jumeaux et la deuxième salle de bain complète récemment rénovée. (Veuillez noter: draps non inclus dans la location bien qu'il y ait des couvre-lits sur chaque lit et des oreillers fournis)

Profitez du bord de l'eau peu profond au fond de sable, parfait pour la baignade et la pêche et est très adapté aux enfants. Il y a beaucoup d'espace pour amarrer votre bateau ou vos motomarines dans le slip de bateau. Dans la soirée, profitez d'un feu de camp dans le foyer extérieur ou cuisinez sur le nouveau barbecue à gaz extérieur et dînez sur le pont avant au coucher du soleil.

Accédez à toutes vos activités de plein air préférées directement depuis la maison ou en quelques minutes, y compris la navigation de plaisance sur la chaîne de lacs Fulton d'Old Forge à Inlet, la randonnée dans les bois et l'observation et l'alimentation de la population locale de cerfs. À quelques minutes seulement, profitez d'une randonnée pittoresque jusqu'à Bald ou Bear Mountain. Le lac Blue Mountain et le musée des Adirondacks sont à 30 à 40 minutes.

First time in a VRBO

We traditionally vacation in Blue Mountain Lake, however our reservation was bumped and because our family was so disappointed I decided to seek out accommodations for the 8 of us. Kazmira was wonderful to work with and her home was the perfect setting for our stay. Lots of room for all of us. Highly recommend this home…you will not be disappointed!

Great property with great views and easy access!

What a wonderful place to stay with great hosts! The house was clean, slept a whole family comfortable, right on the water, close to town and the hosts were very responsive. 10/10 recommend!

Great location and fully-equipped house!

We had a great stay here for a week at the end of the summer. The property is in a great location. It is very close to Old Forge. We rented a pontoon boat that we could dock there and that was the highlight of the trip! We went out on the boat every day and explored the lakes. My kids (3 and 7) also enjoyed jumping off the dock and swimming at the dock, if you didn't want to rent a boat. Near the dock, the bottom is sandy and there is some seaweed (as you would expect). We used the ladder on our boat to get in and out at the dock. I think kids would be fine climbing in/out without it, but I think it may be tougher for adults. We all had a ton of fun swimming in the lakes and on the dock. The house has everything you could need. We used the really nice grill for dinner a few nights to cook. We sat on the back deck every day and enjoyed the view of the lake. My kids loved watching movies using the Roku. I used the washing machine and dryer a few times because my kids go through clothes so quickly and I never seem to pack enough. There are two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bath, and that was great for little kids. They have a kcup coffee maker and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and stove. We had everything we needed for a great stay! We were very close to the neighbors. We were fully prepared for this because we saw it in previous reviews, and it was absolutely fine with us. But if you wanted a private location, this would not be it. You would not want to be up all night throwing a party out of respect for the neighbors. We did chat with one of our neighbors, and they were super nice to us and the kids. But it's something to keep in mind. The house also doesn't have air conditioning. They do have a fan in every single room, and that was fine for us because we were gone during the day and the fans cooled off the rooms at night. And finally, there are few minor things that need some attention. There is a spot in the floor that is heaving. The drawer for the garbage only closes when you put a rubber band around the handle. Some of the window latches don't fully lock and one of the window blinds is tangled. We had a hard time locking the back door as well. But honestly, these were very minor things and did not detract from our stay. We had a great time and I recommend this location!

Great Stay at Cozy Camp

Clean, well-sized and recently refurbished, with a great view of the lake, nice dock and lovely firepit. Our only complaint was that it could have been better stocked with the basics - bathroom soap, spices, etc.

Very clean, owners were very easy to work with. The property was close to town but not right in it to here all the noise. Also property was on a good trail to get to town or lakes and access the other trails.

Perfect 2019 ADK Lake House Vacation

Absolutely beautiful house... plenty of space for 2 families and great water front location! The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need to cook/prep/store meals... we only had to bring crock pots. We brought our boat and we’re able to use the boat dock and or boat house on the property. the kids enjoyed fishing off of the dock and feeding the ducks and deer! The owner KAZ was super amazing to work with and was very eager to make sure her guests were happy! We will be back in 2020 😁

Camp on the Water Near Old Forge

We love staying at this home on the Channel between Old Forge Pond and First Lake. Location, location, location!!! Great home - 5 bedrooms (one on the first floor) and two full baths; fully-stocked kitchen; great living room and deck with a view of the channel and boat traffic. Excellent internet and t.v. reception - has it all! Highly recommend!

Great location and beautiful home

We spent 3 nights during memorial day weekend and had access to the lake for our kayaks and fishing. The house was newly renovated and the whole family had a blast. We would definitely rent again.

Great location, great place

5 stars overall. The owner was very responsive and made the whole rental experience very easy. The house was very clean when we arrived, and ready to go for the stay. Very spacious too - easily accommodates 8-10 people. The location is great if you're looking to rent a boat, kayak, or canoe - Rivetts marina is about a mile away. Great location to some nice hiking spots as well (Bear mountain, Bald moountain) although we didn't get a chance to check them out. Overall a great experience.

Perfect place for making family memories that will last Forever!

My extended family enjoy our week in the Mountians. This was the perfect location for swimming, wildlife observering, and just relaxing in the warm mountain sunshine. The house is in excellent condition and very clean. I am looking forward to coming again next summer. It is also convenient to local activity. We highly recommend fishing on the Moose River.

Super Spot to Enjoy Old Forge and the Adirondacks!

Really comfortable, home right on the water, in a quiet spot - fun to watch the boats, easy access for boating or swimming, close to Old Forge and all the amenities this vacation area has to offer! Lots of room - we have several generations in our families - everyone was happy! Large kitchen and deck overlooking the water; spacious bedrooms (upstairs - also a smaller one on the main floor). Great t.v. and internet was available. Having two full bathrooms, both upstairs and down, was wonderful. Outside fire pit was lots of fun - friendly neighbors, too. Can't wait to return!

friend trip

Eight of us headed up to old forge . The home was just perfect. Comfortable, Clean, great fire pit.Sat on the dock able to be in the sun allday. Nice neighbors. Awesome weekend with friends. Will be back.

Fall get-away

Fantastic location, close to town of Old Forge for shopping, with a great view of the nightly river boat tours passing in front of the cottage and the chance to go to the local craft shows. The bedrooms are spacious with beautiful views of the waterfront. We loved the outside fireplace for nightly marshmellows. Kitchen was spacious and the house nicely kept and decorated. Excellent communication with owner.

Family Vacation

This place was perfect! They thought of everything here. I stayed with my kids and my mother and grandmother , everyone was pleased and plenty of room for everyone. Swimming off the dock was great, a nice sandy bottom. Lots of wildlife around too. It is set back enough that you aren't around to much traffic perfect for kids! And close enough to walk to town if you wanted. We will for sure stay again!

Girls Weekend - Perfect Place!

This place is fabulous! The location (close to town), the scenic beauty (right on the water), the spacious house and ALL the comforts of home make this the perfect get-away with family or friends. The owner is very receptive and informative, so the whole rental process was a breeze (and I've done alot of them - this is not always the case!) We happened to be there the last weekend of Sep 13 on the most beautiful fall weekend when the leaves were at peak, so it was amazing! We already booked the same weekend next year and can't wait! I would give this 6 stars if I could!

Family friendly cabin

Location, parking, and the backyard were great. The nice flat yard, big deck and dock are safe for families with young children. Very short drive to the town's beach/playground, enchanted water safari and local shops. House included a fire pit, lots of outside chairs, grill, internet, tv, large kitchen and bedrooms, washer/ dryer, and plenty of inside seating for large groups. Biggest disappointment was the bathrooms. there is no bath tub. Carpet is old, house is definitely musty and lots of spiders but that is to be expected of cottage living. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes and small appliances. Overall would definitely recommend.
