The camp is cute with rustic style features. If you’re staying in Old Forge and want to be within walking distance to everything in town, rent it. The property it sits on is small so there is no real back yard access, but has a walk around porch and the fire pit is now a propane stove and in the driveway. Beds were comfortable and linens were provided. Well supplied with utensils, dishes, Coffee maker and Keurig. Wi-Fi, nice large television in living area and one in each bedroom also. Overall it was a nice place to stay. Owner very responsive and answered promptly.

This is a wonderful vacation rental home right in the heart of Old Forge. You can walk to many attractions nearby. The house itself is spacious with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Communication with Dave leading up to and during our trip was easy. We would definitely consider staying here again on a future trip to Old Forge. Prospective guests should note that bath towels are not included, which was not a problem for us as we have family in the area who lent some to us. If you are driving into town from home, you could bring your own towels. It may be more of a hassle if you are flying as you would need to pack them or purchase some while you are there. It was no problem for us though. All in all, it was the perfect house for my family (two parents and two young children). Thank you Dave! We will see you again for a future summer trip!

Charming

The three of us enjoyed our stay here very much. Easy walking distance to everything in Old Forge. Dave, the owner was very easy to communicate with and he even took care of the trash we left behind because the trash site was closed. Kitchen was generously stocked. The huge TV upstairs was great. By way of explanation for not giving a 10/10, there were some small inconveniences. We had to buy more TP as we quickly ran out and we had to put the sheets, etc. on our beds the first night. Having spent a lot of time in other VRBO rentals, this was a first for us. The kitchen light rarely came on to full brightness and the upstairs TV remote was not terribly responsive. Nevertheless, these were not deal breakers and would certainly stay in this charming place again. We loved being there.

We really appreciated the handicap access with first floor accommodations. The location worked out great for a wedding at the Woodcraft Camps.

Excellent place to stay during a family vacation. A short walk to many attractions and places to eat nearby. Owner is great to communicate with. Would stay there again!

Nice place worked great for us. We loved the place it was so local and easy to get every where. The only complaints we would have would be in my opinion it could have been cleaner and all the owners personal stuff out. We couldn’t get the bedroom tvs to work the Livingroom tv for spectrum all channels were locked. But we would definitely stay again. Kids aww already asking when we are going to that house again.

Very nice house!

This is a beautiful house! It is centrally located, and we were able to walk to breakfast in the morning, and stroll downtown. We had enough beds for everyone, and everyone enjoyed their stay. Would definitely recommend this house. Dave even had a baby gate for us to block off the stairs.

This location couldn’t be any more convenient! Check in and check out was so easy, Dave communicated to us and was easy to get ahold of. He even saved a stuffed animal for us that had gotten left behind. The house had plenty of space for all 10 of us which included crazy kids and lots of belongings

Great local spot

Overall excellent. The place can accommodate larger groups and is centrally located in town for easy walking to grocery, restaurants, and shops. The host was also very kind and responsive throughout.

Perfect location!

Quick weekend away and this place checked all the boxes! The host was quick to respond when we checked in, the place had no power due to an accident nearby. He sent me updates as he received them. It was a great location, convenient to town, to restaurants and the grocery store. We would stay here again in the fall or winter.

Happy in Old Forge

Our family had a wonderful stay. There was plenty of room for all nine of us. The house was within walking distance to everything in Old Forge so everyone could come and go as they pleased. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed and the owner was very helpful in answering all of our questions.

Fun Girl’s Weekend

This was the second time we stayed at Dave’s place. Perfect spot gif a girl’s weekend with bars, restaurants and shopping all in walking distance. Great communication with the owner. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful place, wonderful time!

We had a great stay, in Old Forge, and David‘s place was just what we needed for the 10 of us, six adults four children. Close to everything we wanted to do, everything we needed was there at the house. When we pulled in mama deer and her twin fawns ran up to say hi. We Would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Family water safari trip

Location! This house is right in the middle of it all, We really enjoyed our stay, one of the best features was being able to have a family dinner in the house without having to bring everything to cook in this place is fully stocked. The host David is one of the best we have had, Super responsive (less than 5 minutes) and very helpful from the sidelines which is appreciated. If you are looking for a large home that can sleep everyone comfortably this is the place!

Cabin life

We were very pleased with the rental. It was perfect for our 2 families to vacation. Walking distance to a lot of shops and attractions. Communication with the owner was perfect. Within 30 minutes ofnour check-in, deer walked right up to us for a visit. We will be back for sure.
