Good value for the price. It was well equipped, but dated. 2 VCR players and 1 DVD player were available along with Dish Satellite. No WiFi and limited cell phone service. This was the first family vacation in awhile and the twin beds were too small and bouncy to accommodate grown men. View was fantastic. Very remote setting but attractions are accessible. Except for the beds, I'd rent again. Thanks for the wonderful stay.
I love staying at Monterey dunes colony. This home has a very good location. The house was clean, but crowded. The kitchen cabinets are packed and smell a bit musty. There isnât any space for you to put your food. The garbage disposal switch is close to the window near the microwave. That took a while to find. There is no Wi-Fi. I missed that in the description of the house. The TV does have a lot of channels and you can play music from it and record shows. Unfortunately, the hot tub at the clubhouse was broken our entire stay. The house is dated and the walls are filled with all kinds of pictures, but the view out the living room windows canât be beat.
Very nice if you want to be away from anything, property was very nice too stay in, house was clean, had all the amenities, was an easy arrival and enjoyed watching all the ocean life from our patio. Would stay again
We were blessed with gorgeous weather and a full moon--we enjoyed beach walks, tennis, bocce, and outdoor, masked, socially distanced meals in the sunshine! The home is beautifully equipped and spotless--we felt at ease and at home and enjoyed every minute!
Great place to stay. House was well furnished and clean. Located near the pool, spa and tennis courts.
The ocean view is fabulous from the elevated living room and the beach is just a short walk (maybe 50 yds) outside the back door.
Monterey is a short drive. Lots of things to do in the area.
The only negative is thereâs no WiFi (which might be a good thing). Lol
Our stay was great. We plan on coming back next year.
