Bienvenue à Whispering Pines!

Vue magnifique sur la gorge! Procès-verbal de Rock Blowing! Cette cabane en rondins de deux chambres et deux salles de bains est parfaite pour votre retraite en montagne. Asseyez-vous sur le pont arrière et admirez la vue magnifique depuis le porche couvert ou détendez-vous dans le bain à remous. Profitez de tout ce que cette maison a à offrir, y compris le plan d'étage ouvert, entrée de niveau, cheminée à gaz, bain à remous dans la salle de bain principale, bain à remous sur le pont arrière, vues sur la gorge, barbecue au gaz, Internet par câble et sans fil, et à quelques minutes du centre-ville de Blowing Roche. Whispering Pines est situé dans la communauté des chalets en rondins de Beau Ridge. Si vous avez besoin de plus d’espace, nous louons également une autre cabine, Wind Song, à distance de marche de cette maison. Cette maison n'a pas de climatisation, pas de téléphone fixe, pas de laveuse / sécheuse et pas de lave-vaisselle. Pas de serviettes supplémentaires sont fournis. Ventilateurs de plafond et fenêtres pour le refroidissement en été. Malgré tout, la vue du pont arrière est assez captivante!

Cette cabane en rondins est à 4 miles du centre-ville de Blowing Rock, à 5,8 km de Blue Ridge Parkway, à 20 km de Boone, à 20 km de Grandfather Mountain, à 15 km de Tweetsie Railroad, à 6,8 km de Sky Valley Ziplines et à 8. 6 miles de montagne de ski des Appalaches.

This property was amazing. The view was astonishing and even the ride up there was awesome. We loved how close it was to town, yet far away enough to enjoy the country part of things.

Just what we needed

This place had one of the best views of any cabin we've stayed in. We were looking for quiet and secluded and this offered both! Decor was cozy without the gaudy "cabin" overstatement that many places do. Close to Blowing Rock and the Parkway! Hot tub was incredible! We will be staying here many times in the future!

Beautiful view, great location

Overall, very good property for a short stay. A couple of things to be mindful of: the neighbors are extremely close, even within a whispers distance, there is no dishwasher and there is no washer and dryer. The tub was filthy and could not be used. Other than that great!

Perfect Romantic Getaway

Everything was great. The views were breathtaking. The jacuzzi inside was awesome, however just took forever to fill up and ran out of hot water. Overall we loved our stay and would return.

AWESOME time!

We had a wonderful time! The property was clean and had everything we needed to relax. Kitchen was properly stocked. Hot Tub was hot worked perfectly. Wish there was a manual for the Hot Tub to understand what all the buttons did. We would stay there again!

Great Place, Great Views...with that old dog smell

The place was fantastic except for the old dog smell that hits you when you first walk into the house. Once it was aired out (30-45 min), the place was perfect. A deep clean of the area rugs, and the place would be a 5/5.

Beautiful View

The view is amazing! This house was cozy but missing those extra touches you get from a listing managed by an owner. Very little attention given to the kitchen. Pans in bad shape and everything just thrown in the cabinets. We had pillow with no pillow cases. The porch furniture had not been rearranged after the last guests had moved it all over the deck. Just a little more attention to detail is needed. Great location not too far from town.

Great view

Very clean house! Two awesome bathrooms. Huge back deck, nicely covered for bad weather, or open area for sunbathing when it's nice outside. Great for grilling out. Very nice deck rockers and picnic table.The hot tub was well maintained and clean, set in an open area for stargazing. The back deck is private, and the view overlooks the valley below, with mountains out in the distance. Very quiet location at night.This location is well stocked with all your basic needs. Don't wear white shoes when traveling here in bad weather. The parking area is well maintained, however in inclement weather is very dirty as it is gravel. We will definitely rebook in the future!

Just alright

We enjoyed our weekend away very much, but thay was because we were together! The home needs some work. The tub is not usable (it took 1 hour to fill it 1/3 of rhe way up and the hot water gave out), it is not private, you are nestled very close to other homes (sitting in the hot tube we could have talked to the neighbors), and the bed needs to be replaced. The kitchen is not set up for cooking your meals. Very few supplies and a tiny stove. We made the best of it and enjoyed our time, but for the price and above mentioned items, we would definitely not stay here again.

The cabin view was beautiful, the patio area was spacious and the cabin was easily accessible from the main road. However, the hot tub was never able to reach above 99, the indoor tub was not able to fill quickly with HOT water for anyone to use and the cabin felt congested due to all the extra decor and furniture. The bathroom photos online were great, but the water didn’t stay hot and the indoor tub was disappointing to not be functioning correctly.

Great getaway

This is a fabulous little find just minutes from Blowing Rock. The views from the back deck are hard to beat! We had a minor issue at check in, as neither of the codes provided to us would open the door. We called property management and they had a new code set up in minutes. Beds have great mattresses, water pressure in shower was spot on. Quiet spot yet still very close to the parkway and town. One minor issue, the hot tub sits beneath some overhanging limbs, and while enjoying it, leaves and debris would blow in. Property should leave a skimmer so guests can remove these items if necessary. All in all, would definitely recommend and should our travels bring us back will definitely consider renting again.

Beautiful area

Enjoyed the area. Beautiful hikes. Hot tub was nice. Master bed and pillows uncomfortable. Couch uncomfortable (moo shy). There were lots (dozens) of large flies in the cabin. During the day they weee in the windows. But at night they would come down to the lights in the kitchen and around the oven hood. We must have killed 2 dozen. Nasty. Don’t know how they got in or where they came from. Loved Blowing Rock, but will find another cabin to stay in next time. Had trouble with front door lock initially but the property folks were helpful and responsive.

Don't Let the Photos Fool You

The home looked beautiful in the photos, however, upon arrival, we found that the interior of the home was filthy. There was dust throughout the entire home. Dust on the ceiling fans, dust on the furniture, dust on the portable fans, dust/grime on the counter tops, and dust balls on the bedroom floors. The deck is a MAJOR safety risk. Multiple deck boards were rotted; most were soft; many had holes/slits through the boards and you could see 50ft down to the ground. We refused to walk out on the deck for safety concerns - which was unfortunate, as they view appeared to be beautiful. Multiple rotted board near the hot tub as well - major safety concern. The upstairs sink was dirty and clogged; water did not drain. The house was not supplied with anything. There was no toilet paper at all so we had to make an immediate trip back into town (20 min). Overall, HUGE disappointment as the photos online did not display a true depiction of the condition of the home. City inspector should inspect the deck immediately.
