Nous sommes au sommet du plateau de Cumberland, et notre chalet de montagne surplombe une belle région de bluff. Avec une vue imprenable depuis les salles à manger et salons, ainsi que la suite principale, il est facile d'oublier le monde ci-dessous et se concentrer sur la famille, la détente et le temps loin de tout. Bienvenue au sommet de la montagne!

Le lodge est proche de Sewanee / University of South, South Cumberland State Park, Mountain Goat Trail, de superbes vues, randonnée, cascade, festivals locaux et des cantons, ainsi que dans les 10 miles de l'autoroute entre Nashville et Chattanooga.

Quiet, relaxing stay

This beautiful home made our stay in Tennesee so comfortable and relaxing. The house is much larger and more beautiful than the pictures show. Tori is a lovely hostess. Would love to visit again.

Tennessee getaway

We spent a long weekend at the Bluff House in April. Had a great time. Great views and a short drive to the Caverns along beautiful country roads.Found some fantastic trails to hike and some very good restaurants in the surrounding communities. The communication with Ben and Tori was fantastic and we will definitely be back.

Incredible Views

The Bluff House was amazing! I cannot imagine a more beautiful view from right outside the master bedroom window. The area is quiet except for the relaxing sound of a waterfall nearby. We saw lots of deer, had everything we needed in town and had a great time. Thanks!

Quiet and Magestic

My friends and I loved this property. We were in Tennessee for my birthday and for a few shows at the Caverns. It was lovely to have a quiet and beautiful place to rest and relax between activities each day. We took advantage of the fire pit as well enjoying the evenings by the fire. The sunsets and sunrises were beautiful.

Bluff House get-away

Our two night stay at Bluff House was just wonderful; we all enjoyed it so much. Tori met us at check-in and gave us the tour and explained how everything worked. The house was very clean, and unlike some rentals I've stayed at, very comfortably furnished. The bluff view was spectacular, particularly from the rooftop deck, and we enjoyed the firepit. All in all, our stay at Bluff House exceeded our expectations and we plan on coming back next fall!

Bluff House Magic

We were badly in need of a four-night getaway, and the Bluff House was exactly made to order! This was our second stay at this property, and once again we were dazzled by the incredible view, and by the privacy. Saw several deer multiple times, and had a visit by a pileated woodpecker. This place is so perfect in every way, and hosts couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful! Highly recommend!

Stunning view for a quiet weekend getaway.

My brother and I purchased our mom tickets to a Christmas concert in the Caverns and found this gem when planning the trip. The Caverns were only a quick 15 minute drive so it seemed like a perfect fit. We flew into Knoxville and enjoyed the scenic 2.5 hour drive down to Pelham and were ecstatic once we arrived. The hosts met us at the property to explain everything at check-in and couldn't have been more hospitable. We arrived around 9pm and were blown away that you could see EVERY star in the sky. The house was cozy and quant and perfect for what we needed. In the morning we woke to an absolutely breathtaking view. I will certainly book this property again for another concert and hopefully be able to make it for when the leaves change. This property is a 10/10 in my eyes!

Lovely home and amazing views

My family had an amazing stay at the bluff House. The hosts were lovely and absolutely everything we needed was there at the house. They even accommodated a special request for a kitchen item. Would definitely recommend this property for a quiet getaway.

Beautiful view

Very close to hiking and the view was amazing. The kitchen, living room and bedrooms were really nice (good mattresses). The bath rooms are cute but the tubs are difficult to climb in and out of safely, especially if you’re older. We enjoyed the fire pit very much too. Owner’s were very helpful and kind.

This rental property is smack in the middle of Monteagle with lots of beautiful hiking opportunities nearby. In addition, the backyard was perfect for a s'more cookout and the upstairs deck perfect for a mini game of soccer.

Fantastic property

We absolutely enjoyed the bluff house! It had the best views as advertised. So much nature around to enjoy and hike the fiery gizzard waterfalls 😍 Tori and Ben were a delight and we appreciate their suggestions and help while visiting. We can’t wait to book for next year, too!

We have only the best things to say about Tori and Ben and their wonderful property! They are very quick to communicate. Tori met us there and answered any questions. The home is very comfortable and super clean and the property and view are beautiful! We are trying to plan our next trip there!

Tennessee adventures

My husband I and stayed here, along with my sister and brother-in-law. We all had a fantastic time. The view was amazing, and the house was the perfect size for the four of us. We were located about 20 minutes or less to all the things we wanted to do.

Wonderful family getaway

We stayed here with our teen and younger daughter. The lodge itself was amazing with an equally amazing view. There was plenty of amenities on the property. Nearby, South Cumberland State Park offers plenty of activities outdoors. We really enjoyed ourselves here, it was like a home away from home. The owners are amazing and not only have we told our friends and family how amazing it all was, we will also be back!

We enjoyed our stay

The view from the house is spectacular! The location is a bit remote which is a positive if that's what you are looking for. The house is charming and nicely renovated. The clawfoot tubs were a bit difficult to get in and out of so I would be aware if you have an elderly member of your party.

As advertised, superb spot

Truly exceptional hosts-- many are purported to be but Ben and Tori are the real deal. The property is stunning and the view is remarkable. House is well decorated, comfy, and offers all the amenities you need. Excellent place to just "get away" if you're a couple but could also easily accommodate a large family or group. Be sure to visit Foster Falls to swim, Blue Chair Bakery for great coffee and breakfast, and across the street there's Lunch (that's the name, lunch only!).

Amazing place!

The Bluff House checked all of the boxes for us! Amazing view, fantastic appointments, everything we could possibly have wanted to have available. The privacy, the view, the huge upper deck, and the immaculate details of the home itself. Of all of the VRBO and rental properties we've stayed at, this was the finest for our needs. Hated to leave, and immediately scheduled a return trip for this fall~! Highly recommend! The owner met us at the property, gave us the home's (amazing!) history, and made us feel right at home immediately. Great people, with a great rental property! Can't wait to go back in October!

We are fun-loving and like to be outdoors. We work hard, but try to play hard, too. A good hike, a walk on the beach, a great meal, and a warm campfire all get high fives from our clan. We try to walk balanced while reaching out to help those around us who are struggling. We are embracing change and doing our best to seize every day as the first day of the rest of our lives.

This property has been in our family since it was built in the mid-70s. We have taken the time and effort to renovate it right. With barn wood walls in the kitchen, living room, bathrooms, and master bedroom, the travertine, hardwood, and tile flooring, and a million dollar view, it was a sure fit to allow others a place to enjoy like our family has over the decades. We hope you enjoy this lodge as much as we have enjoyed putting ourselves into it.

We like to check-in all our guests personally. This allows for any questions to be answered and to provide all the information we can about the lodge. You are required to text us your ETA and when you arrive at the interstate exit so we can meet you at the property for check-in. If other accommodations are needed, you will need to make those known prior to arrival, as well.
