We had a great stay! Perfect location if youre planning to hike but still want to be near restaurants for breakfast or supper. Nice and quiet, very relaxing and SO CUTE! Big front porch for coffee in the morning. Would definitely stay again and hope to.
The place is located in a great spot where it's quiet and tucked away but still close to anything you need. Food in the area was good and saw some beautiful views. Definitely would stay again if available next time we are in town. Thanks again!!
It was a perfect place to stay. Quiet, peaceful and a lovely setting. The home was very clean and looked just renovated inside. Our host has furnished just about everything you may need for your stay. I highly recommend this property, will definitely stay again!
We felt right at home staying in this cozy little home. Everything was very clean and modern. The location is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the town. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for an affordable stay while visiting this part of TN.
Relaxing quiet trip away for the weekend with my husband. It was the cutest property, very clean, modern and had a little bit of everything! We would def stay there again. Was about 20 mins from The Cavern's as we went to a weekend concert there. Restaurants are super close and very tasty. Highly recommend Mountain Goat for breakfast or lunch!!! A++++ retreat property!
This cozy little house was clean and adorably decorated! It had everything we needed from cooking supplies, to bedding, to soap and shampoo! It was only 20 minutes from The Caverns where we went for a Sunday night show!! The host was quick to respond and so kind! This place is a 10 out of 10!
it was fabulous! So cute, clean, cozy, had everything and then some! Response from owner very quick! it was spot on what my friend and I were looking for!! Beds comfortable it was perfect!!
The property was exactly as advertised and exceeded our expectations. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. I liked the remodel, great job. Everything we came to the area for was close driving distance.
Recently remodeled duplex located roughly halfway between Monteagle and Tracy City, TN. Approx. 15 min. drive from Sewanee campus. Very clean, smoke-free, nice new fixtures, generous sized bathtub. Very quiet rural setting. Easy 5 min. drive from Monteagle on paved roads.
Excellent communications with property owner. Highly recommended, 5 stars.
Unfortunately we checked in quite late in the evening and it was a little tricky to find, but the minute I opened the front door I was pleasantly surprised. Quaint 2 bedroom 1 bath, clean, very nicely decorated. Everything worked from the TV to the coffee maker.
Host left a binder with hiking places etc.
The property was spectacularly clean, comfortably furnished, and everything I needed was there. Itâs just minutes from Sewanee, so Iâll definitely let other Sewanee parents know about this hidden gem.
The owner is incredibly responsive. And the book that that lists things to do locally was enormously appreciated. Having the water filter pitcher in the refrigerator is a great touch!! Thanks so much! Definitely recommend!!
It was a hurried trip of less thsn 72 hours, but enough to leave us certain we would return. I cant name a thing that would change our impression. Thsnk you and well done.
We had an absolutely amazing stay! We loved the location and the place itself! Was so nice to be amongst so many trees! And the green kitchen is the cutest! Thank you so much for everything!
My name is Deirdre! I live in Nashville with my husband and three young children. Aside from hosting, I am a care giver for the elderly, the children's director at our church, and a full-time mom! My family and I love being outdoors this duplex is where we crash amidst hiking and exploring the area!
A "soar" is a name for a group of eagles. My family and I use this place as our landing pad before venturing out to explore the many miles of trails on the South Cumberland. Living full time in the city, we relish our retreats to the mountain and find ourselves more grounded and connected to each other when we leave. As a guest, you will have the entire A side unit to yourself, along with a private driveway and fire ring. The house sits on roughly 2 acres.
