We rent often and will return to this property. It’s clean and roomy and stocked with what we needed in the kitchen. We booked it last minute after an issue at another property and the manager was very responsive and helpful. The price is fair and spaces work well for a family. There are some quirks from our US perspective; screenless windows are typical in the UK and there was no fan. As a garden (bottom floor) apartment it was a bit humid at times. The beds, shoe rack and kitchen chairs are ikea or similar which is fine but they could use a tightening of all their connections.There is a clothes washer but note it’s a washer only; no dryer is available. We have usually found the combo type machine in London rentals but the listing was accurate on this point so this is just a heads up and not a complaint. The neighborhood is excellent with a suburban feel; lots of families and young professionals live here, groceries and pubs are all around and the buses stop practically out front. A tube station is only a few blocks away as is the Portobello Road market. We definitely recommend this apartment and look forward to returning.
