Located in the lovely village of Barrowford, with a range of shops and eateries to explore, the village sits at the foothills of Pendle Hill (4 miles), an easy-to-tackle summit offering exceptional views and a fascinating history. Read up on the Pendle Witch Trials before hiking to the top of the hill. On the opposite side of Pendle Hill lies Clitheroe (10 miles), a charming market town with a characterful high street and ancient castle, marking the edge of the stunning Forest of Bowland AONB. Discover independent shops, galleries, and a handful of eateries here. Cross into Yorkshire to explore the attractions in the picturesque market town of Skipton (13.5 miles), better known as the âgateway to the dalesâ and explore further into the national park and the wealth of Dales villages and scenery beyond.
