Welcome to our inviting property in the peaceful village of Wemyss Bay, our property offers a unique opportunity to stay in a charming, well-located property with easy access to some of the areas top attractions. Our property has a number of original features dating back to 1860. These features have been gracefully restored, allowing guests to enjoy. Ideal for those seeking both tranquillity and convenience, this property is situated just 0.5 miles (approximately a 10-minute walk) from Wemyss Bay Railway Station, providing easy and quick access to rail services to Glasgow and other nearby destinations.

Additional seating can be taken from the bedrooms to allow for 6 guests at the dining table.

â Our kitchen offers a hob and oven, integrated fridge & freezer and dishwasher, perfect for cooking family meals.
âȘ Stay Connected:
â Fast Wi-Fi allowing you to watch your favourite movies & TV shows on our Smart TV or connect your personal devices such as phone, tablet or work laptop.
â Our Thermostatic Radiator Valve allows you to control the heating for the whole house from one location within the lounge.

â We have everything you need for a trip away with family and friends or a business trip.

â We welcome longer stays with facilities such as an iron & ironing board and a clothes airer on site. We do not have a washing machine although there is launderette at the Kellybank Holiday Park 1.6 miles away which is 6 minutes by car.

Our home is located in a quiet residential area consisting of families with a friendly and safe feel to the area. There is plenty of space for free designated/private parking on our extensive driveway. There is a playpark for children which can be seen from our home. Shops are within walking distance including a convenience store, takeaways, supermarket, hairdressers, chemist, butchers, coffee shop, book store and a pub.
By Train:
Wemyss Bay Railway Station is just 0.5 miles (about a 10-minute walk) from North Lodge.
The station provides direct rail services to Glasgow (approximately 50 minutes), ideal for commuters or those looking to explore the city. Connections to other parts of Scotland, including Paisley, Greenock, The Isle of Bute and Dunoon are also available.
By Car:
A78 Road is easily accessible, connecting Wemyss Bay to Inverkip, Largs, and beyond.
Inverkip is just a 5-minute drive away, and Largs can be reached in about 15 minutes by car. Glasgow is around a 50-minute drive (30 miles), making it easily accessible for day trips or business needs.
By Ferry:
Wemyss Bay Ferry Terminal is located close to the property and offers regular ferry services to the Isle of Bute, with a journey time of approximately 35 minutes. This is a fantastic option for exploring the island and enjoying scenic coastal views and historic sites such as Mount Stuart House.
Dunoon can be accessed easily by using one of the two ferry terminals in Gourock which are both under 5 miles from our home. There are regular crossings for both foot passengers and car trips taking only 25 minutes. Dunoon is home to the famous annual event, The Cowal Highland Gathering also known as 'The Cowal Games'. Additionally, it provides a gateway to the stunning region, Argyll.
By Bus:
Local buses connect Wemyss Bay to surrounding towns and villages, including Greenock, Largs, and Inverkip. The bus stop is a very short walk from North Lodge. This bus stop also provides a regular service to Glasgow City Centre.
Guests should keep noise to an acceptable level between 19:00 and 11:00.
