Just 0.5 miles away, you’ll find a warm welcome awaits in traditional Welsh pubs complete with roaring fires, real ale and locally sourced produce on the menu. The nearby town of Carmarthen is recognised as the oldest town in Wales, renowned as the birthplace of Merlin. History enthusiasts will be enthralled by the Carmarthen Roman Amphitheatre (8.5 miles). Spend a day wandering the beautiful gardens at Newton House (13.5 miles) or prepare a picnic and explore the National Botanic Garden of Wales (2.5 miles). Brechfa Forest (14 miles) offers a wealth of walking and hiking routes to suit all fitness levels.
