À propos de cet hébergement
The Lodge, Private Parking & Garden
Summary:
This spacious 1-bedroom lodge in Cheltenham is perfect for a luxurious, romantic escape for 2. The open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area feature a smart TV & gas fire, perfect for cosy movie nights. The high-spec, well-equipped kitchen has everything needed for home-cooked meals and opens to a secluded patio with comfortable seating. Upstairs, you’ll find a serene king bedroom and bathroom with dual sinks, shower, and bath - ideal for a relaxing getaway. Private parking for 2 vehicles.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the whole lodge and patio garden.
The Neighborhood:
The Lodge is located in the green and leafy suburb of Pittville, an area recognised as one of Cheltenham’s finest locations famed for its iconic park, Pump Rooms and bridged walkways. Known as the ‘Capital of the Cotswolds’, Cheltenham is brimming with history, culture, green spaces and fantastic foodie ties. Not to mention famous horse racing at the iconic Cheltenham Racecourse, which is just a few minutes walk away from the property.
There is so much to explore in this exciting town, and the best part is you can do so much of it on foot! It’s around 15-20 minutes walk to the town centre, where you’ll find all the major high-street shops and restaurants. On warm summer days, head to Sandford Park Lido for a dip in the outdoor pool before taking a wander through the sculpted gardens. Or stroll over to stylish Montpelier too. Here, you’ll find a wealth of upmarket shops, independent cafes, gourmet restaurants (including Michelin star-awarded) and cosy wine bars. Make sure you stop by the Neoclassical Caryatids and walk through Pittville Park where the Pittville Pump Room – the town’s grandest spa building – still welcomes you to sample its medicinal waters.
The Lodge is also a wonderful base to explore the rest of the Cotswolds AONB. In 30 minutes, you can drive to a number of the iconic Cotswold villages, such as Bourton-on-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold or Burford. Enjoy rummaging through antique shops or taking scenic walks through the rolling hills. Nothing tops off a day like a delicious dinner at a cosy country pub, too.
Find more of our local tips and tricks in our Guest Guide, which is available upon booking.
Getting Around:
The Lodge is located just outside the centre of Cheltenham, so it is perfectly located for exploring the town on foot. Cheltenham Spa train station is around 10-15 minutes in a taxi. There are also regular buses that run around the town, as well as further afield, which are all easy to pick up and navigate.
If you do decide to travel by car, ample off road parking is provided on the gated driveway.
Other Things to Note:
This is a strict no-pet property for allergy reasons.
Babies in arms are welcome, however, those of crawling age, toddlers and young children are not due to the open staircase. Those who ignore this rule and plan to bring children to the property do so at their own risk.
Parties are not allowed at the property. Those who ignore this rule could be asked to leave without a refund and charged for any damages or excessive cleaning. This is a residential area so please respect the neighbours and keep noise to a minimum past 11 pm.
Please also note that there is currently building work taking place at a neighbouring property which can be noisy at times during the week day. The work is due to finish early September 2026.
