The Trinity is a stylish Cotswold holiday apartment which forms part of a Methodist chapel dating back to the 1800s and sleeps two guests, in an impressive mezzanine style bedroom, with a bright and airy ensuite bathroom. Laid out over two floors, this fabulous property boasts contemporary interiors, benefiting from an open-plan living area complete with plenty of comfortable seating and a well-equipped kitchen area, which enjoys an abundance of natural light through the original windows letting.

This one bedroom holiday accommodation in Stow-on-the-Wold is perfectly suited for those looking to get together with family and friends, exploring the local countryside and eateries. The accommodation is laid out as follows:

The Stow Horse Fair is held twice a year, typically on the Thursday closest to 12th May and the Thursday closest to 24th October, however, we would recommend checking the exact date ahead of placing your booking. This is a traditional fair for gypsies and travelling people to meet up and trade which dates back to 1476 when its Charter was granted. Stow is very busy for a day or two before and after each fair, and a number of shops, pubs and restaurants are closed. Whilst many visitors enjoy the colour and vibrancy associated with the fairs, other visitors prefer to avoid Stow on these dates

Location is great, but could be cleaner.

The property needed a cleaning - the range hood top had a film of grease, dust and dust bunnies on floors. Location was great! Upgrading number and quality of towels would add a lot.

Short break

The property is located in a prime location to explore Stow in the Wold, with shops and pubs on the doorstep. It has been beautifully redesigned with a modern and rustic feel, with everything you need for a holiday or break. It was a little noisy at time due to traffic on the main road outside and doors to the other rooms within the property opening and closing.

Pretty much perfect

Great location, no issues with parking close to property even over weekend. Set up and space perfect for two. Only issue top blind didn’t work, but as it was winter this didn’t cause any problems.

Great Week Away

Had a great 4 night stay at The Trinity, which was the perfect getaway for my hiking trip in the Cotswolds. The apartment was modern and had everything I needed for a relaxing time away, would definitely return.

Great location

This was my fourth time staying at The Trinity and it was as clean and comfy as before. The location is great and it’s so much nicer than staying in a hotel - so much space! Will no doubt be back!

Great location in Stow-on-the-Wold

Comfortable modern apartment which is a great base for the area. Lots of fun places to dine a short walk away as well as plenty of options to stock and cook at home. Would highly recommend.

Great little break

The apartment was prefect,close to all the lovely restaurants and shops. There are easy walks,in fact we didn’t need to use the car all weekend. ,

Fantastic apartment in the centre of Stow

I had such a lovely stay at The Trinity! The property was beautifully presented, really clean and the towels and bedding were amazingly soft. The central location means you have a choice of pubs and restaurants within walking distance if you don’t want to cook, but equally the kitchen is well-equipped if you fancy staying in. I would definitely recommend this apartment to others and hope to return again soon.

Absolutely perfect location beautiful property.

Could not recommend highly enough. One recommendation though is don’t arrive in Stow on the Wold in the dark as the exact location of the property and finding a parking spot was a bit of a challenge. But it was worth the effort because once found we were delighted with Trinity. It was very well equipped warm and very clean. The old building had been converted into apartments and had been done to a very high spec. A nice touch was finding biscuits tea coffee sugar and a packet of biscuits waiting for us as well as a pint of milk in the fridge.

We'll be back...

...at least I hope so. =) Can't wait to come again and this was the perfect spot. Comfortable, clean, and perfectly located near anything we needed. (Shout out to my new best friends at Stow Town Coffee. Right outside our door and literally looked forward to it each morning). Everything was smooth from booking to checkout. We had one question come up, and the property manager was at our door in minutes. The only note is that there is no AC. So, it did get a little warm at times. But, the fans in both levels helped. Can't wait to come again.

Cotswold hideaway

My husband and I loved this small modern apartment with its unusual open plan layout. It feels spacious and well designed. It is centrally located and perfect for our needs. The kitchen is well equipped apart from a shortage of saucepans- there was only one frying pan. We were also disappointed that the control to the central heating does not seem to be working and the room temperature ranged from 18-20 degrees which we found somewhat chilly. Apart from that it was great and the roomy modern tiled bathroom was lovely with dressing gowns provided. The bed was also very comfortable. We will definitely rebook if we are ever in the area.

Lovely property

We thought the property was really lovely. Very comfortable, and the location was perfect. We did not see or have any contact with anyone during our visit at all though, which we thought was strange. We could not fault the property with one exception. The heavy mould on the stone around the windows was dreadful. A real health risk. As an asthmatic, I found it challenging. I ended up wearing a mask for some of my time inside the property. If this was cleaned it would make the property perfect.

Could have been so perfect but…

I would have given 5 stars but only giving 2 starts for three basic and important let downs: 1. The electric blinds did not work on the windows, ie could not open. So no light came through in accommodation! Dark all the time. 2. Couldn’t open the windows as blinds didn’t work. So no fresh air whatsoever! 3. Poor TV reception. These were obvious issues that should have been checked prior to any stay. On the plus - great location. The place itself very clean and great facilities/condition. When I asked issues to be addressed, nothing was sorted! A real shame!! Would recommend if the three points above were corrected as should be.

Regarding the issue with the electric blinds, the property managers, MyClean, should have contacted you in advance to inform you that the motor had unfortunately malfunctioned and that a replacement part had been ordered, pending delivery and installation. We’re pleased to confirm that the motor has now been replaced and the blinds are fully operational once again. We apologise that you did not receive a response from the property manager when raising these concerns. We do hope that you will be back to stay in the Cotswolds again!
