This cottage was beautifully appointed and great for ease of access to Cheltenham. Note that it is on a main road, so there is some traffic noise. The bedrooms were not made for tall people due to the ceiling angle, but I didnât have any issues at 5â2 :).
Louâs view was a very comfortable cottage which suited our needs whilst we were there for a couple of days. The only thing that I feel that needs to be considered to be updated is the shower in the grey bathroom as the hot/cold water knob didnât turn so we felt the water was tepid. The hot water boost wasnât that effective either even when we turned it in early so 2 out of the 4 of us had cold showers. The view at the back of the building was beautiful especially when you have walked to the top of the hill itâs in a nice location.
Fabulous cottage for 2-4 persons, plus dog friendly. High standards throughout. Beautiful walks on your doorstep. Perfect location for Cheltenham, the Cotswolds. Lots of food choices nearby. Highly recommended
Lovely cottage which is extremely well equipped. The owner has thought of everything. Very nicely decorated with lots of interesting things. Comfortable beds. Be warned that it is on a busy road so be prepared for traffic noise. Easy access to lovely walks and the stunning Cotswolds villages
Inside the house was very clean and tidy and fully equipped with everything you would need for your stay. We went when it was really hot so the bedrooms were quite stuffy, but Louise had provided a fan if required. In the house you could not hear the road noise but as they was no back garden, the only place to sit was in the front court yard next to the road. You do get used to it. Overall lovely accommodation.
On arrival the place smelt of dog urine, the place was very dusty and the water went cold in the shower very quickly! Very nice bedrooms, a quirky little cottage!

Some Good Some Bad
The property itself is very nice, quite quirky but full of character and clean. The location however, is not ideal. It is on a main road which is very busy more often than not. It would have been better if there was a back/side door that you could get out on to the hill/countryside especially if you have dogs.
The busy road also makes it noisy to sleep at night. The property is very warm so you need to sleep with a window open but if you open the window, the road noise is worse.
This cottage itself is lovely and ideal for a getaway but it would be even better if it was in a more sleep/dog friendly location.
This was our 2nd visit to Lou's View , it's exactly what it says on the tin , quirky, homely ,comfortable. There's a lovely dog friendly pub within 500m with really good food and really wonderful pleasant staff . Thank you Louise , we WILL be back
We really enjoyed staying in this lovely little house - beautifully clean, really nicely decorated, very comfy beds and a good base for exploring the local area.
Very comfortable and quirky property. Quick communication from owner when questioning a problem which was rectified easily. Location a bit tricky to locate especially in the dark, but otherwise can highly recommend for a cosy and very comfortable stay
The four of us, and two dogs loved our short stay in this beautiful quirky cottage. Everything was perfect, the area is gorgeous with plenty of walks in the countryside. The Rising Sun is 500m away and is dog friendly and also people friendly. The food was excellent and the staff amazing. We WILL be back, thank you Louise
It minutes away from shops and pubs, every room came with a shower room which was fantastic, there was nothing we could really point out.
Heating in every room was perfect.
Facilities were spot on and cottage was perfect.
I couldn't locate the cottage immediately but Louisa was super quick in responding to my messages and we checked-in in not time after the brief call.
Loved the cottage the decor is perfect! Best nights sleep for ages on very comfy bed.The two bathrooms made all the difference to our getting out time in the mornings! Highly recommend this cottage.
