Town: Wirksworth is a small, charming market town situated just a few miles from Matlock, on the edge of The Peak District. The town is full of character with many buildings of architectural interest, including its magnificent parish church of St Mary’s. Thriving independent grocery stores sit alongside a popular zero waste shop, gift shops and two butchers with a strong local food ethic. The weekly Tuesday market and monthly farmers' market (first Saturday of the month) provide local produce, coffee and crafts.
