Thank you for your feedback. We were genuinely surprised by this review, especially since you previously stayed with us and had a wonderful experience. When you notified us about the pool, we took your concerns seriously and had our pool service company come to the property three separate times during your four-night stay. After each visit, the pool technician provided us with photos showing the pool was clear and in good condition, which did not match the issues being reported to us. We also received no reports from the technician of any mechanical or water quality problems. Regarding the odor, this was the first time we had ever received a complaint of that nature, and neither our cleaning team nor the pool technician observed any unusual smell during their visits. What was most disappointing was that after your stay had ended, you demanded a full refund and stated that if we did not refund your entire stay, you would leave a negative review. Because we believed we had responded promptly, sent service professionals to the home multiple times, and addressed every concern brought to our attention, we did not feel a full refund was warranted. We work very hard to provide an exceptional experience for our guests and take every concern seriously. Our history of positive reviews reflects that commitment. While we always strive to resolve issues whenever they arise, we also believe it’s important for future guests to know that we responded quickly, documented each service visit, and made every reasonable effort to address the concerns during the stay. For those reasons, we would not host this guest again.
