We had a really nice stay. Drove to Jackson and Teton NP every day. Cabin was nice, quiet and we slept very good. Shower was better than you might expect at a rustic cabin. Overall great place to stay!
Cute, quaint cabin with basic necessities for a nice stay
We stayed in cabin 3 and it was great! Private, clean, comfy, and very enjoyable. The area is pretty with a river right behind the cabins. Property description is accurate- simple and basic accommodations, but exactly what we were looking for. We brought extra kitchen items in order to make meals. The internet service was extremely spotty though. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!
I really liked the location of the cabin and there's easy access to the Hoback river for trout fishing. The cabin rental was priced well compared to cabin rentals closer to Jackson Hole. I was impressed that the kitchen was fully stocked with everything to prepare meals. I also appreciated the hospitality of the cabin owners and their willingness to help us with any issues that we had. Overall, it was a pleasant, scenic place to stay out in the country and fairly close to Jackson Hole and the lakes in Grand Teton National Park.
Such a nice cabin....in the greatest location for peace and relaxation! With a river flowing behind the cabin, and a hot spring and waterfall just minutes away! We hated to move on. Definitely recommend this place!
I loved the cabin, location was great, I would recommend these cabins, if you are looking for luxury, it is not the place for you but was very clean, comfortable. The check in process needs some work. We were the only people around and I loved that.
We loved our stay here. The cabins were quaint, nice and clean. The biggest issue we had was the kitchen wasn't well stocked. There were only 3 plates, 3 forks, no cups and many other missing things. For a family of 4 needing to cook our meals we had to drive to town to buy the things we were missing. :(
Our family stayed in Cabin no. 4 and we LOVED it. There was a slight hiccup with check-in (the key was under the mat, instead of in a jar as we were told), and we couldn't call since there was no cell reception, but Allison was quick to respond via the VRBO app (if you walk over by the main house, wifi is much better). If you are looking for a place that *feels* like camping, but with some basic comforts, you can't find a better one!
The only things I would like to see changed would be darker curtains, there was a very bright light that shines into kitchen at night and more pillows. The light works great for a night light but my wife is light sleeper and it bothered her getting to sleep. The location was excellent and I would stay there again!
It was a great place to stay! It was clean and the owners were great to work with through email. Enjoyed sitting on the porch at sunset and watching antelope come down from the ridge across the road.
We enjoyed our 2 nights at one of Black Powder Guest Ranch's cozy cabins! The cabins are set beside a calm stream, with a beautiful view to the west! The cabin was quiet and the host treated us well! If you glamp here in the summer, you will enjoy the cool floor.
Small cabin located in Bondurant, WY. About 25-30 from downtown Jackson, WY. Owner was quick to answer questions and take care of the one small problem we had. The WiFi is VERY spotty and no cell service at all (AT&T) but thatâs kinda why we came here so we could unplug. Would stay again.
We had a great stay here. It was so nice to unplug from every day life and really get a chance to relax and enjoy each other. We were not able to get wifi and had no cell service or tv, but it was great to disconnect for a few days. Instead, we enjoyed playing cards outside, enjoying the view. The cabin was very clean! It was so convenient to also have a microwave, stove and fridge. We hit up a grocery store and this made it mire budget friendly for us instead of constantly eating out. We had breakfast every morning and made sandwiches and snacks for lunch. Communication with the owners was great. Overall I really good find for the money. One suggestion, maybe a bean bag toss/corn hole for outside on the property? Would have been nice to play a game outside.
A beautiful location only 45 minutes from Jackson Hole. Perfect for a simple stay! Basic utensils are provided and there is a little gas grill out back. Very clean. we are hoping to come back another time!
We are family owned. The ranch was purchased by a father and his three children to run as a hunting and outfitting lodge. Since the passing of the father (who was a bit of a local legend!) we have transitioned away from the outfitting/dude ranch aspect and are now a vacation rental.
It is a truly unique property, that offer an affordable alternative to Jackson Hole. Just minutes from Granite Hot Springs. Great for couples or groups who want to be close to each other but still have their own privacy.
