We were very pleased with the location, facility of getting the keys, and long-term parking nearby. Gianluca is a great host and was quick with requests and making sure we were comfortable. The property should be advertised as “sleeps 5, but as a studio”, as the space cannot be advertised as a two-bedroom property.

Great location, close to the Vatican and other attractions. Gianluca met us early before standard check in time so we could drop off our luggage. Plenty of restaurants close by, easy to. Catch a taxi if you don’t feel like walking.

This property is located very close to most main attractions in Rome so it was easy to walk and visit around. It was clean and quiet and equipped with A.C. The owner was very approachable too. However, this property doesn’t have two separate bed rooms, it’s a suit with a one bed in the main floor and one on top like a bunk bed.

The listing is misleading. It says that it is two bedrooms but is really a studio with bunk beds and a futon. Several listed amenities are missing: no microwave or toaster, and the washing machine is broken. No linens for futon. Beds were very comfortable but pillows were flat. Very cheery orange decor. Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, glassware, etc. Small shower, very clean except mold on ceiling. Small glass topped table with 2 folding chairs and a bench for dining space. Host very responsive prior to our arrival, less so during our stay. Great location, close to Vatican, grocery store, shops and dining.

Great way to experience true life in Rome

If you’re looking for a fancy place to stay in Rome this is probably not it. If you want a place that feels authentic to living like most people in Rome this is probably a decent choice. The shower is very small so if you are big people this might not be for you. The location is amazing and the host is great!

Great space for families to explore Rome from

The orange apartment was as advertised, with all of the basic essentials. Our family of 4 had plenty of space and we enjoyed the great hospitality of the owners and the location. The apartment is very close to the Vatican, and there are many shops and restaurants close by. We would stay here again

Wonderful one room apartment

This place was perfect for my family of 5 (3 teens and 2 adults). We all had plenty of room, the beds were very comfortable (3 queens). The neighborhood was very pretty and we felt very safe. We walked from here to the Vatican, colosseum, Jewish ghetto and a ton of other places. The owner was very easy to work with and very responsive. we would definitely come back here again.

Great value and charming neighborhood

The apartment met our needs with it being a 7-minute walk to St. Peter’s Basilica and other walkable sites. The apartment for the five is nicely but the shower was a bit of a tight fit. Other than that minor detail Gianluca was available to assist and a good host. Thank you!

Amazing place!

This is a great place if youre trying to stay close the Vatican City in Rome. Theres many cafès, restaurants and bars within 5 min walk. The colosseum is about a 30 min walk. The apartment was very clean and slept five perfectly

Weekend in Rome

Nice appt, quiet at night. Well located near Vatican and métro station. A lack or light during day because the appt is located in an interior courtyard.

Very cool space in a great area

Really cool apartment, in an interesting building. Great host, who allowed us to drop out bags early so we could get to a tour, and provided suggestions for places to go. Only downside was that the washer/dryer wasn't working, and the door for the shower screen was very small. Overall, a great place. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Location and Great Communication

The apartment was exactly as described and pictured. The host made special arrangements for us to drop off our luggage as the result of an early inbound arrival. Just a great experience!

Fantastic location, and great host

Overall, for family of 2 adults and 2 kids (13 and 10 years), this was a great size apartment. Location of this apartment compared to getting to all major spots (Vatican, fountain, Spanish steps, colosseum) was also fantastic as we can walk to all very easily. Host also was very responsive to any issues that came up. Only downside was that the size of shower and bathroom was smaller than expected

First night in Rome

The place was perfect for us to stay one night. We arrived to a clean very welcoming home with snacks and wine for us which was great as we just arrived. We had a hard time finding the place and some trouble with the lock but the owners friend ended up being very responsive. It all worked out.

The host of the property was very generous and helpful . It was a lovely apartment. Very close to Vatican. Sofa bed was not that good and there was no microwave. But overall everything was good. I will come back to same apartment again.

You know you booked the right place when you choose a place close to the Vatican, and the unit key is like straight out from the Da Vinci Code. Lovely cozy place with super friendly host who respond quickly on Whatsapp. If you are looking for a luxury modern place to stay this is not for you, but if you like to stay in a traditional family housing in the heart of Rome this is a gem.The shower is a bit small but very clean. Do note the unit is on second floor and there is no elevator to go up. Also expedia wrongly stated this as a two bedroom unit. It is actually just one big living room with kitchen and restroom.

Great location

The apartment is in a great location for the sights, the building is very nice. Gianluca is responsive and helpful. For check-in, we picked up the keys from a nearby laundry service. The apartment is small but has enough of what you need, including kitchen items, a washing machine, clips for the clothes line, blow dryer, an electrical outlet converter, etc. We accidentally left something behind ourselves after check out and Gianluca’s wife graciously came out of her way to let us back in. We had a wonderful stay!
