À propos de cet hébergement
Pass the Keys | Bath Road Retreat 2 bedrooms with garden
My home is a charming, well maintained Victorian terraced cottage with a small pretty garden. Excellent location on a quiet street just off Cheltenham’s popular Bath Road, filled with plenty of shops and an array of eateries. The trendy Suffolks' area is a couple of minutes walk away, also a short easy stroll into the popular Montpellier and to the town centre.
Stylishly decorated throughout, the property comfortably sleeps 4 with two double bedrooms.
The space
Cheltenham is an enchanting Regency town that is rich in history and architecture.
Located on a quiet street but close to everything Cheltenham has to offer, whether you're visiting for business or pleasure, you will not be disappointed with my home's style, charm and location. You will find it is a fantastic base for family and friends to experience Cheltenham and also explore the wider Cotswolds, that is right on your doorstep!
The property has everything you need to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
The property spans two floors, giving plenty of space and privacy for guests. The downstairs layout consists of a living room, kitchen with dining area and a WC. From the kitchen you can access the private garden via patio doors, where you can enjoy the sunshine, a perfect way to unwind after a long day exploring!
The kitchen is fully equipped with all mod cons, for a relaxing start to the day, or for cooking up an evening meal after a hard day sight-seeing!
The living room is bright and modern, it includes a decorative log burner with fairy lights and a Smart TV. Online apps including Netflix, Apple etc also available for use via your own account.
The first floor has 2 double bedrooms and shower-room.
The master bedroom has a large wardrobe with hangers, chest of drawers and bedside tables with shelf or cupboard and under bed storage drawers. The 2nd bedroom has a clothes rack, 2 storage shelves, bedside table and under bed storage drawers.
Both bedrooms come with hotel quality crisp cotton sheets, fluffy towels for each guest and complementary toiletries.
Travel cot and baby seat with tray (straps onto chair to make a high chair)
are available on request. Please let us know at the time of booking if you need them.

Where you’ll be
Supermarkets:
100m to Sainsbury's or the Natural Grocery Store. There's also a large Co-Op and an array of shops on the Bath Road, about 2 minutes walk away.
Restaurants:
A huge choice for dining on Bath Road from Pubs, Indian, Chinese, Fish and Chips, kebabs and Cheltenham’s iconic Morans Restaurant at the top of Victoria Retreat! Well worth a visit.
Excellent coffee shops nearby and in the Suffolks area, Baker and Graze is a particular favourite on Suffolk Parade with a delightful hidden courtyard at the back. In the Bath Road Brew and Bake makes lovely coffee.
Lots of great pubs to explore in the area too, all within 5-10 minutes walk. Hidden away gems are the Jolly Brewmaster on Painswick Rd which has a good beer garden and the Beehive on Montpellier villas - a very old, atmospheric pub. For those that prefer cocktails, stroll through the Suffolks and across the park to Montpellier which has a fine assortment of bars, some specialising in cocktails. Lots more restaurants to choose from in this area too.
Attractions:
On Sunday once a month the Suffolk Street Markets are held and the roads are closed off - a lovely Sunday activity with live music and great stalls, 2 minutes from the house.
This is a great area for those that enjoy walking. Leckhampton Hill is a good walk or short drive from here - beautiful views over the town and surrounding Cotswolds. Within town there is a great walk opposite the train station through an old railway track, it eventually brings you out at Pittville where there’s a lovely park with a lake and the iconic Pittville Pump Room, perhaps Cheltenham’s grandest venue to take the waters. Walk back through the town. It’s also possible to walk along by the River Chelt towards Charlton Kings and come back through the Naunton Park area.
Cheltenham hosts many concerts and festivals throughout the year and the Everyman Theatre in the town centre is a beautiful traditional Victorian venue.
The property is also only a 2 minute walk from Cheltenham college.
With all the local Cotswold villages, towns and pubs just a short distance away, there’s no shortage of things to do in the area.
