The award-winning Blue Flag beach offers excellent sheltered swimming and watersports, with the beach having the advantage of RNLI lifeguards on duty every day, as well as being home to its very own lifeboat. The village is well served with cafes, a pub, amusement arcade, Post Office and general store.
