Belle propriété idéale pour 2 personnes, avec de belles terrasses, barbecue et piscine.

Ce magnifique chalet est situé un terrain privé dans la zone de montagne, et bénéficie de ses avantages uniques, sa très paisible, vous êtes entouré par la nature, l'air frais et des vues à couper le souffle ...
Vous pouvez entendre les oiseaux, les moutons ... et la nuit, vous pouvez regarder les étoiles!
Nous avons une belle piscine et solarium avec sunloungeurs et une petite table à manger et des chaises.

Le chalet offre 1 chambre avec un beau lit double en bois et confortable matelas en latex, 1 salle de bain avec douche à l'italienne et les caractéristiques de la main fait de belles telles que des murs en pierre réels, donnant beaucoup de caractère typique.
Cuisine - salon, équipée avec tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner et manger.
Basic Internet Wi-Fi (principalement pour vérifier les e-mails)

Réel barbecue intégré à utiliser avec du charbon, où pour faire votre poisson frais, de la viande et des légumes, idéal pour les repas al fresco.

La piscine est prêt à utiliser de Mai à Septembre inclus.

Nous sommes tout à fait ECO;)) basée sur les panneaux solaires et l'eau de source.
Cette propriété est pour la vie lente, pour profiter de la lumière, l'air, le soleil ... de la musique ou sons de la nature, un bon livre et un repas frais, ces plaisirs de la vie que nous devrions profiter plus souvent.

La plage la plus proche à Port de Soller est à environ 20 minutes en voiture. À Port de Soller vous avez de très bons restaurants, des boutiques et tout u besoin pour une journée swimmimg.
Vous pouvez prendre un ferry vers les plages voisines (Cala Tuent, Sa Calobra, Torrent de Pareis)
La propriété est d'environ 12 minutes en voiture de Fornalutx, qui est le village le plus proche avec d'excellents restaurants pour la nourriture de Majorque, un mini-marché, boulangerie, ATM, de nombreux cafés, pizzeria, salon de coiffure, centre médical, court de tennis public, ...
Fornalutx a été considéré comme le plus beau village en Espagne, si bien vaut le détour.
Vous pouvez marcher de la propriété à Fornalutx, il ya une belle et populaire chemin bien indiqué. Environ 30 minutes de marche dans un cadre magnifique avec des oliviers centenaires.

A perfect location for “getting away from it all”, surrounded by nature.

Two weeks of bliss in a perfect location for “getting away from it all”. The well-equipped and nicely clean house, surrounded by nature (including the donkeys and sheep having the occasional conversation - humorous and delightful!) was just perfect. It all made us not want to venture out too much, especially with the wonderful views and peace and quiet. Lots of options for lying/sitting in or out of the sun were very welcome, as was the excellent bathroom, great shower and an abundance of towels and linen. Veronica made us feel very welcome - thank you so much!

Great property in a great area for walking.

Veronica’s property is in an idyllic location in an olive grove high up in the hills above Fornalutx and Biniaritx in the Soller valley. Both villages are a 40ish minute walk away, have good restaurants and the former a great wee shop as well. The valley has terrific walking, with much of it well signposted. The property and garden are both fitted out to a high standard with all the features you would expect. Views are amazing and the pool is lovely (though a bit chilly in April!) Veronica is a very good host. The only con for us was that the amazing peacefulness of the garden was occasionally interrupted by the sound of motorbikes and chainsaws from across the valley.

A secluded mountain retreat

A delightful finca, now with a new plunge pool, quiet (ok, if you ignore the neighbouring, occasional donkey which sounds like its being castrated!). It is beautifully situated up a narrow, private, hairpin strung 3kms road, so do insist on a small hire car, and resist the upgrade. The finch is a small really 2 person facility with all mod cons, including internet and the terrace has the most stunning views. Because of its position you benefit from the afternoon and evening sun, but not the morning sun. Despite having a car we hired cycles from Port de Soller and cycled back up 3kms and 1000 feet of climbing each evening and on 3 occasions took the old pitched stone track to Fornalutx for supplies and an evening meal (30min walk down and 40 back). The owner Vero was most helpful, from meeting up through to bits of advice locally and also ensuring everything was just so (e.g. water delivery; welcome bits and pieces etc). Thoroughly recommend it for those who enjoy the outdoors and peace and quite away from the crowds.

Endroit magnifique, parfait pour se ressourcer. Privilégier une voiture de petit format pour passer aisément dans elle chemin de montagne.

Hot week lazing like lizards

This is a quiet hideaway which has all you’ll need - a perfect romantic escape. We particularly enjoyed swimming in the evening later on accompanied by the friendly bats! The drive up was a bit tricky to start with but perfected by the end of our stay - thanks Veronica!

A great and quit hide away

Our stay in Fornalutx was every thing we hoped for. A stunning view, peace and quit, a nice and good equipped house and a refreshing pool. We will come back for sure.

Absolutely perfect for chilling and relaxing

Even before entering the house we knew it was perfect. We wanted to unwind and relax and that’s exactly what we did. The house and it’s surroundings were very clean and well kept. Fabulous. Looking forward to going back.

Small isolated mountain hideaway - a nature lovers dream

Have recently returned from 7 nights in this mountain hideaway where we enjoyed peace and isolation, great scenery and nature galore. Both parts of close-by Soller (port & town) make for an excellent holiday and the small village of Fornalutz (walkable) was great for provisions & refreshment. This cottage totally ticks the boxes that we asked for and the location was fantastic. The property itself is small but compact. Basically, great bathroom/shower with plentiful hot water. Small kitchen, workable. Bedroom does the job. Sofa awful. Wifi passable considering you are halfway up an isolated mountain. Outside space excellent, tho I do think astroturf is out of place. Outside furniture is great. Downsides....the mountain road up & down is an experience to remember and what is perhaps exciting & exhilarating to some, I actually found quite stressfull & limiting...no popping out on the spur of the moment for that toilet roll! When reviewers mention that only the smallest rental car is advised, THEY REALLY MEAN IT! Flyscreens on ALL the windows and door would have been appreciated as the mozzies were biting, and men in particular may wish to note no air-con. But wow, what an experience...sheep & goats for neighbours and not another soul for a week if that is your wish. Made friends with the donkeys who WILL disturb your sleep and watched the sun rise from behind the mountain at 8.40ish each morning & sink down into the ocean late into the evening. Peace & serenity in bucketloads.The only real negative of our stay was that halfway through our week the sides of the pool started to turn green and despite being told that someone would call, as far as we are aware no-one ventured up the mountain to rectify. Which meant no pool for the last few days. All in all a wonderful adventure.

Hi Julie Thanks for taking the time to review the property After reading you I cant understand a 3 on 5 tough When u say property ticked all the Boxes u asked for, then ??? Its clearly described on the advert that the road is a well paved mountain road and that there is no aircon so I am surprised u think u need aircon as Everyone mentioned and We have the experience that is nice and chilly at night time In the mountains there are goats and sheep and birds and insects Yes ... The screen on the Window in bedroom is great tough meaning u can have the Window open and no mosquitos can enter By the way donkey is lovely and there is only 1 on another property not ours The only thing I can agree is the sofa its not for sitting hours and I am replacing it soon Re the Pool Sorry But u never reported anything wrong and let me tell u that When a Pool gets a bit green on the sides is because the clhrorine is low and some algae can start growing in these long hot days SEA water gets green too !!!! That does NOT MEAN u cant use the Pool If u had told us We could have fixed it just adding clhorine because We do not mind the drive at all We love it We love the location and the isolation The mountain and the SEA view the quietness, watching stars at night, the lazy siestas in the chill out Bed by Pool the centenary Olive trees, the special roses We planted, the BBQ, the walks and a looooong etc Thanks ;)

A blissful little retreat

The setting is simply spectacular and really unique to the island with only a handful of houses dotted up the valley. There's plenty outdoor space and everything flows very well from the house to the patio. The pool is up a few steps behind the cottage, and apart from the odd walker passing on the path, it feels completely private. The house itself is compact but really well appointed. As keen cooks - we found everything we needed in the small kitchen - and of course, cooking on a barbecue with that view as the sun sets, was heavenly! A couple of little indoor negatives: the sofa isn't very comfy; and at the time we visited the condensation (from the mountain air) meant everything was a bit damp. There is a dehumidifier but it didn't really solve the problem. And finally - I can't not mention the drive to the cottage. It really is quite heart-stopping at first, but after a few times, it's not so bad. It's the price you pay to be up so high with those spectacular views!!

Thanks very much for a complete review and for your comments We are happy you enjoyed the property, and you felt home, with everything you need It is a piece of heaven we have and we love to share it with lovely tenants. As for your mention to the sofa, you are the first to say and now we take this into consideration. Being a sofa bed is what makes it maybe not great for sitting a long time, most people just spends most time outdoors, but we may repace the sofa at some point. Re weather, it is what it is and yes after the rains the mountain its wet, but our great Morso cast iron wood stove burner really warms and dries the house. And for the drive, not many people gets surprised as its clearly described on the advert, when someone does they get to your same conclusion, its the first time you drive and then its not so bad, and yes its the little price you pay to be in that special retreat, away from city lights and noises, away from the crowds, enjoying quietness, fresh air, nature sounds... Thanks !!!

Wonderful Isolation

The villa - wonderfully secluded in the hills above Fornalutx. The location is amazing and the views from the terrace are stunning. The mountain vista has to be seen at sunset to be believed. The price to pay for this is the drive from Binaraix up the narrow single track road. It does require nerves of steel to negotiate the road and insist on the smallest hire car available! The villa is well equipped and comfortable for 2 people. The bathroom was well designed and there was plenty of hot water. The small pool is an additional bonus. It was relatively easy to self cater here as there are plenty of utensils and cookware. Veronica who manages the accommodation is excellent and her communication was outstanding - we arrived on a very late delayed flight and she was so considerate, even providing groceries to help us over the first day or so. There are fruit trees surrounding the villa and we had an endless supply of figs. There are walking routes from the side gate of the villa taking you higher up the valley and down to Fornalutx and beyond. Keep an eye out for the bird life - in the space of 10 minutes we saw black vultures, booted eagles and ravens flying above the crags behind the villa. If you want to just relax, there are plenty of outdoor chairs and sunloungers on the large terrace. Overall we were impressed with the villa but it's best feature is the location and views

Entspannung pur

Mitten in der Natur in einem Haus, das alles bietet, was man benötigt. Genau das Richtige um Abstand zum Alltag zu bekommen. Schöne Wanderwege und eine abenteuerliche An- und Abfahrt zum/vom Haus.

A lovely mountain retreat

Great walking, beautiful sunsets and peace and quiet. The cottage is well equipped and tucked away in a quiet mountain setting up a windy road above Fornalutx. Amazing views out to the Port of Soller and up the valley to the mountains. A great spot.

Peace and Tranquility

Sorry for belated review, where does the time go, but just had to add our glowing report. We were the first to use the new pool which was cool but divine. Felt quite privileged to stay in this little oasis away from it all, and the windy road was the price we were happy to pay! Just what we needed, thanks for a wonderful memory.

absolutely amazing!

This little casita in the mountains of Tramuntana is great! The location and view are amazing, ans do is the pool and bbq. If you are looking for rest, this is the place to be, the only sound we heard was from the monkeys and sheep. The road to the house is a bit adventurous, but no problem with a small car. we had a great time, hope to go back soon!

absolutely amazing!

This little casita in the mountains of the Tramuntana is really great. The location and view are amazing, as is the new pool! If you are looking for rest, this is a great spot, the only sound we heard was from monkeys and sheep! Great bbq also. The road to the house is a bit adventurous, but no problem with a small car. We had a great time, I hope to go back soon!

Beautiful sunsets, wonderful terrace

We spent a week here in September and had a wonderful time. The road to the property is narrow and winding but all part of the rural Majorca experience! Very clean and comfortable. Great shower, comfortable bed and good cooking facilities. We used the outdoor barbecue as well as cooking indoors. We spent most of the week on the terrace reading, eating, chatting and snoozing then cooling off in the plunge pool. The sunsets over the sea were quite spectacular and we felt truly rested by the end of the week. Thank you Veronica, it was lovely.

Etwas zu abseits

Das kleine Häuschen liegt sehr abseits am Berg, auf der Nordwestseite. Frühstück auf der Sonnenterrasse ist nicht, da die Sonnenstrahlen erst mittags das Grundstück erreichen. Trotz Ortskenntnis haben wir uns von den Angaben hier täuschen lassen. Die Ortsmarkierung in der Karte ist nicht korrekt! Die Casita liegt etwa dreimal so hoch und ist über eine sehr enge und serpentinenreiche Privatstraße zu erreichen. Diese Bergpassage ist wirklich ein kleines Abenteuer, besonders bei Gegenverkehr! Für die 3 Kilometer lange Strecke (ab Ortsende Biniaraix/Waschhaus) benötigt man etwa 15 Minuten. Die Wohnfläche des Hauses beträgt nicht 50 m2, wie in der Beschreibung angegeben, sondern nur ca. 32 m2. Die Bilder geben den gepflegtesten Bereich des Grundstücks wieder. Abgesehen von der Terrasse hat das Areal einen gewissen Baustellencharme, bedingt durch die verteilten Häufen Bauschutt. Der Pool war nicht zu benutzen. Er war undicht, was den freundlichen Eigentümern offenbar schon länger bekannt war und bei der Anmietung unerwähnt blieb. Nach 8 Aufenthalten in sehr schönen Fincas/Casitas in den Bergen um Soller und Fornalutx glauben wir beurteilen zu können, dass das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis für dieses Objekt nicht passt!

I always thought a review should reflect the truth, this is not the case, as lies start in the first line. If you were not pleased because the weather was not good, this is nothing we cant help as we dont have a magic wand to make the sun come... The weather in late September is not like in July or August, obviously when its cloudy the terrace dont get sun. The location on the map is not wrong, how can the house be 3 times higher if by this point not even the road exists (?) You told me you know the area, clearly you dont ; you can talk to any local and they will say that we are lucky to have one of the best mantained roads in the area, all paved and clear. Of course its a mountain road, as stated on the advert, maybe your driving is not for non city roads. The floor area of the house is as stated on the advert, and we have the deeds that show it, ...again a lie or a measure problem you may have ... The pool : 1st It could be perfectly used, the only problem it had was a recent crack that affected only the top of the pool, meaning it was 20 cm less water than normal. Anyway this will be sorted this winter, when the pool will be totally renovated and we will make it even nicer for 2016 guest stays ;) 2nd You booked 24 Sept to 5th Oct, the pool is only to be used on half of your stay ( September ) Said that we can understand the inconvenience of 6 days with 20 cm less water than expected (...) and due to this YOU GOT A REFUND, I wonder why dont you mention that in your writing ??? Also why dont you mention that on your last day, when departure is at 10,30am you asked to leave at 5pm, and we agreed to that giving you another half a day for free... Overall this review is really bad intentioned, you took advantage from us, getting discounts and free time at the property and then writing this pile of lies. Anyway this is the first bad guest we have and we are pleased to say we have many repeaters and recommendations. To all our nice guests, best greetings from Mallorca

We had the time of our lives ;-)

A wonderful place to stay and relax with a stunning view over the valley and the mountains, very peaceful and calm. Nice little finca-house, good service, everything was at its place. We enjoyed cooking in the in the well eqipped kitchen, taking a bath in the pool, and are looking forward to coming back !!!

Tolles ruhiges Anwesen!

Absolut ruhig gelegenes Häuschen in der schönsten Gegend von Mallorca. Ein Traum für Naturliebhaber und alle die mal so richtig ausspannen wollen! Die Vermieter sind unheimlich nett und unkompliziert. Der Weg zum Anwesen ist ein kleines Abenteuer und ein kleines Auto ist von Vorteil. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Einer der schönsten Orte

Wohl einer der schönste Ort wo wir waren. Alles Perfekt. Tolles kleines Haus mit allem was man braucht und Pool. Wenn man Ausblick, Ruhe und Wandern mag, einfach ein Traum. Wir sind nur selten unterwegs gewesen, weil es einfach so schön war. Auch die Vermieter sind sehr nett, hilfsbereit und entspannt. Wir kommen sicher wieder.
